I needed vinyl tile embossing leveler as soon as possible to start a project at my home. Ryan was able to have it ready for pickup at a Chicago area store only a few miles away the next day. Great service! Thanks, John

Confusing purchasing process with a lot …

Confusing purchasing process with a lot of hoops to jump through. We traveled 2 hours to the distributor location only to find that our order wasn't in existence. The reference number we were given referenced a completely different order. So... now I have paid for something that I have no idea if or when we will get it along with wasting the travel time. What a headache.

Edit: Andrew was able to turn around our order quickly to fix the wrong order number. We appreciated the quick trouble shooting in order to make our trip to the distributor warehouse worthwhile. Hopefully the product is as good as their service.

I didn't get a confirmation email but called the following day and got everything taken care of. The only down side is they do not offer expedited shipping on any order no matter the cost. I was willin to pay the shipping but they said they cant.

Numerous times I have called to place …

Numerous times I have called to place an order. I always ask what the lead time is to get the product. I tell them that I need to make sure it will be received by a certain date. Each time I place the order they assure me that I will receive my materials by the dates I have given. However, EVERY time I have NOT received them when needed. I keep giving them multiple chances to recoup themselves and I am let down every time and have had to spend more to have employees drive out of state to deliver the materials. As soon as I can, we will be finding another supplier.

Hey Steve, I understand your frustration. I'm investigating now to see what we could do to make the ETA more in line with what your told. When we ship materials from our distributor we provide a UPS account number and they ship on our behalf. Once UPS picks up, they are responsible for getting the product to you and we simple provide the ETA we are given. The delay may be due to where the materials are shipping from. We do not have materials stocked across the country like Amazon. Some items can only come from 1 or 2 warehouses. I would assume that's why Amazon doesn't sell the products we do. We hope you value our service and understand as a growing business we are always looking for better ways to serve our customers. If get that your upset but a 1 star would be more relevant if you never received your product. I feel that a 3 star represents a slow shipping service...I know we can do better!

I don't understand what you were trying to say...how could we do better? We don't charge freight if your picking up. The warehouse partners we have do charge us $25-$50 per pickup or transfer. On small orders we have to charge or we would lose money. On larger orders we remove the handling fee. If you've never seen this from another supplier it's because you've never bought from someone like us. When you shop at Big Box stores they buy only a small group of products in bulk and can provide much lower pricing. We offer 100 times more options and colors; although this specialized service comes at a cost.

Wasn't made aware of price when …

Wasn't made aware of price when ordering and way overpriced!!! Brutal return policy and even no returns on items such as trowels. Will never use again and let the company who contracts me to never use Floor City
