The fact that I could order from the west coast and pick it up here the next day is amazing! I needed material to patch a 20-year-old commercial job and they had the stuff! The local pick up was easy and close. Everybody was nice and helpful at both ends.

I could not find the product anywhere else and floor city had it in stock. The freight charge for 5 packages of vinyl base was 199.00 Which I thought was quite high but Andrew credited me back 75.00 which was great. Thank you

Our website auto calculates shipping based on weight. I'm sorry you feel the shipping rates were too high. We price our materials so low that our shipping rates are reflected at cost. If you get $65 shipping on freight for the same size of order it's either because your paying more for material and the shipping is reduced or the supplier buys in bulk. We do our best to offer competitive pricing and pickup options on both materials and shipping. Next time call us and we can likely offer a significant discount. We are willing to credit you on shipping $75 if you are able to reconsider your review to be at least a 4 star on the fact that we had stock and shipped in a timely manner. We strive for 5 stars but if you don't want to pay the higher shipping costs then please call for special rates. We match pricing as well with almost all competitors. Email me directly andrew@floorcity.com for a credit. I'm the founder and CEO and never want a customer to have a poor experience and when you do I think we should pay for our mistakes.

Floor City was able to find the exact product we needed in no time at all AND made sure we got it in the time frame we needed it in. The reps were all knowledgeable and prompt in their responses as well as kind. Their checkout and payment experience was very easy and customer friendly, we would definitely use them again in a heartbeat for our next project on our home.

damaged tile, getting ignored, bad customer service
Tile arrived on a Thursday, 2 of 9 boxes were damaged - box was pierced with fork lift and tiles inside damaged. Seems like an easy return, right? Called Friday early AM (8:00) , they said to take a picture and send it. We did this and did not hear back. I called Monday, and was told it was on Matt's desk, and he would get back to me. Called back later in afternoon saying wait 48 hours to hear from distributor. How long does it take to refund a person for damaged goods? Called back Tuesday and put on a long hold to try to get me to give up. No one is processing my request for the return, and they only have a 7 day window. The damage is not my fault and no one there cares. Be careful ordering from this company!
