We had our lounge floor laid by Floorsforpaws in April 2022 (with Greenwood) and I've been meaning to write my review for ages (sorry FFP!), but sometimes I think it's a good idea to wait a while before writing a review so you can see how things are going.  

So, a few months down the line, I'm happy to say that we're very pleased with the floor.  Fitting was excellent and I was impressed by how reliable they were as a company.  We had carpet before and hoovering is amazing on the new floor - I wish I'd had the other downstairs rooms done too....maybe next year.  

Re the issue with dogs' paws slipping on this flooring - when I was looking at flooring, this wasn't advertised as non-slip, it said "anti-slip" and our dog doesn't slip when he's walking normally.  If he's running around going crazy, then yes, he will slide, but it's definitely better than laminate flooring for slipping (better for humans wearing socks too!).

We have had this product throughout the ground floor of our house for 3 years now. We did this because we have 3 dogs who love to play and chase each other. This was sold as something that minimises slipping. In our experience it doesn't work. Our dogs still slip and often fall over when just jumping off the sofa. We have had to buy rugs to cover the areas the dogs use most so they don't hurt themselves. Total waste of a lot of money. If you want this as a flooring to prevent animals from slipping then don't bother.
Not being given the ability to reply to the the reply to my review, I have edited here. Saying that the floor is anti slip as opposed to non slip means nothing, both terms are the same according to the oxford dictionary and both mean that the flooring is meant to prevent slipping.

We have had Floors For Paws flooring fitted into many of our dog friendly bedrooms in our hotels and I can't recommend the flooring and the company themselves enough. From start to finish they have been friendly, hugely knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Nothing is too much trouble and, as well as looking fantastic and so stylish, it is also so practical for our guests and their four-legged friends. A huge thank you to Mo, Tracy and Zoe for being so brilliant! I can't wait to decorate at home now and get your flooring fitted here too as our little border terrier Alfie will love it!

I can’t praise Floors for Paws enough. I love the flooring, which has exceeded all expectations. Tracy has been endlessly helpful and always available to advise and discuss the products, including care and cleaning. She has also provided a helpful video to demonstrate cleaning methods. ( Incidentally, her dog is beautiful as seen on the video).
Andy and his partner have been great, professional and expert at installing the flooring, turning up when planned and doing a brilliant job.
The flooring has transformed the rooms and I can’t thank the team enough. Not forgetting Mo who works in the background and provides the flooring for installation.

We discovered Floorsforpaws late in the game as we were setting up our new veterinary practice. We contacted them with limited time to get everything decided and ordered. They were very polite and helpful and made an effort to get our order to us very quickly. We love the floors. They are lovely to look at and very practical both for us and the dogs coming in to see us.

Do not put your phone number in when ordering samples if you do not want to receive harassing texts just days after receiving them, their website clearly states your data will only be used to provide products and services you have requested! I requested samples, I did not consent to anything else.

When you try to raise this with them, they make up excuses as to why they have used your personal data freaking outside those to which you agreed.

I can’t speak for everyone at the company, but Tracy the lady I dealt with had very little grasp of the law around data when challenged and continued to send me messages after this issue was raised and after she had stated in writing she would not contact me anymore. She did not seem able to take on feedback in a professional manner and seemed to take it very personally (almost as if she knew she was wrong).

Honestly this is the worst experience I’ve ever had when trying to raise an issue with a company.

I have found flooring that meets the same spec as floors for paws claim to have at a fraction of the cost and with a company that understands the law and good customer service so in a way I am glad the service I received from floors for paws was so bad as it enabled me to find a better product.

UPDATE 08/04/22- Having seen this companies response I feel I have the right to reply, it clearly states on their website that they will only use your data for that which you have given consent, I did not give consent to be contacted by telephone in any way shape or form, clearly they have not taken legal advice and my review will not be removed based on this.
I also find it shameful that this company then blames another company (Royal Mail) for any problems they have encountered. I’m sure Royal Mail would disagree with the comments from paws for floors just like they disagree with mine, if they feel my review should be removed then so should their comments about Royal Mail.

I found floors for paws online after Googling dog friendly Wooden flooring. It was a simple and easy process from start to finish. I ordered my free samples which arrived within the week, floors for paws then contacted one of their approved fitters to come and measure up and quote me for the work. The floor was fitted and looks great. Tracy was helpful and came back to all my questions every time I emailed her. I would highly recommend this company and would 100% use them again when it comes to replacing flooring elsewhere in the house.

I had my flooring fitted by this company last week. So far I am very very pleased with the result. Not only is it beautiful but gives me so much for confidence with my crazy collie. I wouldn't say it's 100% slip free for my dog but it's a hell of a lot better than before and he's still adjusting. The service from this company is impeccable. From initial enquiry to completion of our job. Everyone I have had contact with has been kind and helpful with Paul our fitter willing to work around us. I am very pleased with my floor and this company.

We had a problem with the first application the layer rushed it complained to mo he without and argument put everything right as quick as he could he was a man of his word we now have a very good floor for years to come peace of mind and quality

We have just had our Floors for paws fitted in our newly converted open plan living area. Our Newfoundland struggles on laminate or wooden flooring so we took a chance with this hoping he would be mobile and agile on our new floor.
It’s early days as we are still renovating, but his first walk on the floor yesterday was a success with no nervousness, and he got up by himself without difficulty on the 1st attempt.
We are really happy with our new floor and e service end to end was amazing. Tracy and Paul were really accommodating to our needs and once underway the fitting was completed promptly and cleanly. The final finish is superb.
Thoroughly recommend, we had a good look round and couldn’t find any flooring like this from anywhere else.

Floors for paws recently came and fitted a floor in our lounge and we are absolutely delighted with the end result. The product is fantastic but the customer service is even better, Halfway through the project our floor layer unfortunately fell ill but Tracy went above and beyond to ensure our floor was completed as soon as possible. Special mention must go to Paul who really went out of his way to ensure the job was finished. The communication throughout was excellent and we would not hesitate to recommend floors for paws to anyone considering a new floor. The fact you get a very long guarantee shows how much the company prides itself on the quality of the product.
You would be looking a long time to find a better floor than this.

Really happy with our new flooring, we wanted a floor that was easy to clean but had avoided wood floors due to our dog having hip displaysa. So happy with our choice! The floor looks amazing, the team from quoting to installation were great and our pets approve too. Thank you to Tracy, Mo and Jamie, excellent service and floors.

We had the Epping flooring put down by Jamie last week, and what a excellent job he did. The floor looks amazing, and our greyhound (who went like bambi on ice, on our old laminate) has already done her mad crazy act coming from garden to the front door with no accidents. I was bracing myself to catch her as I know it’s slip resistant but the floor stopped her from doing this! Couldn’t recommend this company enough 🥰🐾

What a pleasure it was to buy flooring from this great company. The insight and advice were just what we needed. Nothing was too much trouble for Mo and the team and our two Newfoundland’s were made more than welcome. I cannot recommend highly enough the company, the people or the product. Yes it is an investment, but one that is well worth it, both for the transformation to my room and for how easily my girls have adapted to the floor. It’s difficult to remember exactly what the room was like previously - a little like trying to remember life before puppies.

Such a large undertaking to have flooring replaced but thanks to the whole team, they made it such an easy process. From the original emails and calls (and replies to my many questions) Tracy was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful as was Mo. Paul Topliss was a pleasure to have in my home - a real professional and proper tradesman in every way. Despite everything my old house threw at him, he turned every problem into a solution and took so much time and care to ensure that everything was just perfect. My dogs have had no problem coping with the change of flooring and I can strongly recommend Floors For Paws
