Service charge as a surprise

I booked a round trip for £73.42 and after I made the payment a confirmation page informed me of the additional £30 service charge. If I knew that, I sure wouldnt have purchased my tickets there as it is cheaper anywhere.
They should get rid of the high service charge or at least indicate the extra charge MUCH more visible...

Fees

NEARLY booked with this website, thankfully I noticed my £100 flights had turned into £169 due to their ridiculous fees before the payment had gone through. Only Visa electron is free! Total cost changes top right of the screen but doesn't alert you! Just says £1.50 + fee where you type your card number. Also no option for debit card which made me suspicious. BEWARE!!!

Just booked 4 flights that were meant to cost £220 i thought i was on flybe site but as i was checking several sites for the best flight i somehow managed to get directed to fly.co.uk for the best price. i booked the flights
and after my credit card details had been entered and i confirmed they sent an email with their booking charge of £139.00!!!! have contacted them after eventually finding a number.they are based in Germany. refused to cancel the flights (within 10mins) I've contacted my bank to stop payment on my credit card but can't.they will try to dispute once its debited.who can i report this company to. I've threatened to contact the fraud office. absolute scam. unhelpful staff! couldn't care that its a rip off IMO

Daylight Robbery

Looking for a flight to Guernsey, everything seemed to go through fine, then about 3 hours afterwards an e mail with an attached PDF invoice informing me that they had charged £39+ for a booking fee. I couldn't believe it - the flight has gone up to £149 from £114. I had no reason to suspect anything was amiss and the booking fee certainly didn't show in the column when I clicked 'buy'. Everything else did. Its an absolute scam. Disgraceful. I looked at their terms & conditions and it says the 'may' charge a booking fee. Don't use them. I'm going to report them to Aurigny.

DON"T USE THIS COMPANY ITS A SCAM

I booked a flight with them today April 13 2015 and they asked me for a copy of my passport and licences information. That raised a red flag so i went and looked at the reviews and all of them saying don't go through them to book a flight.I immediately canceled my card so that they wouldn't take any money off of my card. To top it off , they have no local contact number. Please don't use this website to book a flight. I'm glad i was able to cancel my card in time.

Do not use this compant

My husband booked a flight through fly.co.uk.Within a few minutes of recieving credit card details, they said they could not contact Turkish Airways who he was flying with. They then said the bank had refused the credit card given. This rang alarm bells so we reviewed the company and found this had happened to other customers. They asked for different card details to be given which he decided not to do.They then took £100 cancellation fee from the card which they said they could not access for payment.A big con, avoid booking with this firm, which is based in Germany, not England!

Extra fees not told about

Booked a flight that was a couple of pounds cheaper than any where else. Once booked and confirmed (As well as paying a large credit card fee even though I was using a debit card), I then got an email saying they were also charging a service fee. The service feed brought a £60 flight to over £100. DO NOT USE THIS SITE.

The worst online shopping experience

I typed "cheap flight" in Google search engine.

I ended up booking a return ticket from London to Berlin via fly.
It cost £138.15.

After the transaction finished, they sent me an invoice, saying that, they are going to debit £39.98 from my card, as their service fee.
This amount wasn't shown, when I typed my card detail.

I reported this case to"action fraud met police", and "Google AdWords".

Hidden fees total scam !!!!!

I booked flights to Barcelona with the site after finding them a little cheaper than elsewhere , no where does it mention a booking fee, after being asked for the agreed amount 408.00 and putting in my card details the transaction then processed and went trough at 580 a whopping 170 has gone to the company a booking fee, they do not give you warning of this before only after the payment has been proceesed , my bank are now disputing this transaction on my behalf. The company really should be closed down and not allowed to trade , please do not use them.

Fraudulent

On Saturday 17th I was looking for cheap flights and the total price came to 649.00 then had to add a card charge for a standard visa debit of 3.20. This totalled to £653 when I clicked to accept and pay. About 8 minutes after a total charge had came through for 822 and when I found them would only cancel it a charge of 100. Leaving me now option I cancelled only to receive an email stating I had to do this and no charge had been made against me. I have since found out they have not cancelled it took a full payment of 160 but won't return my calls or emails to solve!! Warning do not use this site as it's cheaper to go via the airliner direct who's final cost is the actual sum you pay!! It seems that they do this as gauranteed 100 pounds from each process but don't cancel anything!!

Terrible!

I booked flights through fly.com which I had to change later. In their web site they say they are only a 'search engine' and we would have to contact the airline companies directly if we want to make any changes. I contacted both Finnair and JAL and both of them told me it is fly.com who had to inform them that I needed to change flights. I had to phone all three companies several times. fly.com hardly ever answered the phones and in fact they switched off the telephone during their service hours. In the end I had to persuade Finnair to help me and they did. After all Finnair is a decent company and their members of staff were quiet but helpful. You never know what happens to your plans and I definitely do not recommend anyone to book flights through fly.com or any other 'search engine'. You can't check in online either if you do. It is best to book directly from an airline company or a travel agency.

Dishonest

I booked a flight through sky scanner which redirected me to ebookers. A few hours later I received an email from fly.co.uk confirming my flights. I was unaware of booking through them and contacted their customer service team to find out what was going on. I was told that traffic from ebookers is sometimes passed to them instead. I told Skyscanner who then launched an investigation of their own as this is illegal. When I checked my bank statement I had been charged £100 per person more than advertised plus booking fees. They had also booked two single flights instead of a round trip which added additional fees and then had booked with Jet Blue and Delta instead of just Jet Blue which meant baggage fees for Delta.

When I spoke to the customer service team again they said they would refund the additional fees as I had proof of the original price. I received an email confirming this. After 10 days I had not received a refund so I contacted them again. They had no recollection of a conversation but after I was able to provide the email I was told I could get a refund if i sent them a copy of the front and back of my card. I refused to do this as no company should ask for these details.

When I went on the holiday in October we had problems as the flights were showing as cancelled by the company, however, the seats were still available and after some research the manager came back and let us fly as he said this wasn't the first time this problem has occurred with Fly.co.uk.

I have been stuck for almost a year now trying to get my money back. It totals over £400 which is not pocket change. It is disgusting how a company can get away with it so much!

Please lets get the word out there to never use this company again!

Hidden costs only visible after you confirm your payment details

Booked a flight because it was about 30 pounds cheaper than directly through the airline. After confirming the flight and paying, I suddenly had a price that was about 50 pounds higher than what my "total" came to before entering my payment details. This fee may be buried somewhere in their terms of service, but in my opinion this is unacceptable to not show it in the total until after the customer has paid.

Scam - pure and simple

Attempted to book with this site, card seemed to be accepted, but the next day they emailed to say they couldn't book with it, and asked me to call them on a premium rate number with details of a 2nd card. My card company confirmed they hadn't been contacted, and had not rejected anything. A day later I was charged a £100 "cancellation" fee since I hadn't called them back.

Do not trust this company

Found a flight through their website which fitted well into our travel plans. We chose the flight, paid the bill according to the online process and was duly sent the following:
An invoice
Booking confirmation
Booking reference number
On the day prior to our proposed travel, we attempted to check in online with Lufthansa, only to find the reservation had not been made. Checking my visa card confirmed our fears. THE RESERVATION WAS NOT PROCESSED -AND WE WERE NOT NOTIFIED.
Lufthansa still had seats available but at a much higher price. Called Fly.co.uk and asked them to honor the original offer and they refused. When I insisted the call center operator pass me to the "next level up", she hung up on me. A letter of apology (of sorts) followed some hours later via email.
BUYER BEWARE! Use this company at your own considerable risk!

Do not use this company under any circumstances

Booked three tickets at £149 each but as already stated by previous customers added another £80 without adding to the stated price. After this they tried to charge my card 4 times which was picked up by the fraud dept in my bank, so the transaction was cancelled. The prices had gone up again so I had to try & rebook with them as they said they could honour the price at £149. Again I rebooked the flights and my confirmation email came through. I then checked the email and found they had booked all three of us as Mrs instead of Mrs. I contacted them again & they said they would have to charge a £50 cancellation fee, but I could claim it back when I rebooked the flights.
I then tried to book the flights for the THIRD time but was told they would now be £200 each. I said I wouldn't pay that for them & was left with no flights & a £50 charge!
Too many complaints on here for this to be a simple mistake, PLEASE do not use this company, they will take your money & run

Dishonest and waste of money.

As everyone else has said, if you try to book through this company they will bring up the cheapest flights then give you a total which at first seems fine. However after you have sent the money you will find they have took an extra fee which is proportional to the amount you paid. In my case a £410 flight had a "service fee" of £80 which was NOT displayed on the final total price before payment anywhere on the website. When contacted they give you an automated email response basically saying "Too bad, not our problem. We do not allow cancellations".

In short avoid like the plague, because they will take your money without you being able to do anything about it. Plenty of websites that do what they do for free and you can even book directly off the airlines website to avoid any fee.
