We had great help from…

We had great help from Flyforsinkelse.dk - we were delayed by more than 3 hours flying out from New York sommer of 2018 (family of 5 with a child at 5 years old). I only filled out the required documents and then Flyforsinkelse did the rest. 16-8 months later we got app. 35% of our ticket cost returned

Very unprofessional and incompetent…

Very unprofessional and incompetent company. After having my case for 3 years (since 2017) they could not get my compensation. They even did not let me contact the Danish Transport Authority directly. Although, people who had claimed individually via Danish Transport, Building and Housing Authority has received their compensation in 2018. After 3 years they wrote to me: "we lack specific information on the cause of the delay" This means that they do not even know that my flight was cancelled and not delayed.
Never ever use this company. You can claim your compensation yourself by directly applying via Trafikstyrelsen.dk

Predatory policies and bad service

You should only use this company’s services if you have exhausted all options freely available to consumers (i.e. contacting the airline and filing a claim with the national aviation authorities). Both can be done by simply filling out online forms.

Flyforsinkelse will take those same steps and charge a large cut of the compensation you’re entitled to if compensation is granted.

Only when you have exhausted those public options it might be worth going through a third party. If you do, I’d recommend Airhelp over flyforsinkelse as flyforsinkelse is maintaining predatory policies where they will charge you even if you reject their services or resolve the matter by yourself.

It is correct that anyone can contact the airline and claim compensation. But we find that the airlines often wrongfully reject such claims with excuses that we do not agree with, and it can be difficult for the individual person to prove the airline wrong. Therefore, it is often necessary to bring the case to the national transportation authorities or to court. If we believe that the airline has wrongfully rejected your claim, we take the necessary legal steps to ensure that you achieve your rightful compensation. Our persistence and legal expertise are some of the reasons why our clients find our services to be very helpful.

Our service fee is 25 + VAT, and we only charge for our services when we win your case. Otherwise, it's free. This covers our entire service - even court cases. If you change your mind, you may cancel our services free of charge within 14 days from the day that you filed your claim.
