Absolutely appalling service!! I beg anyone to avoid this agent at all costs!!! I would advise using any other estate agent if you wish to receive any form of customer service or management. I've had nothing but problems with them! As a lanlord I've been paying them a monthly amount to apparently 'manage' my property! This is not what I have recieved. There has been no information given to me throughout the service and they will only contact you when they require more money from you (this will be relating to a service that they have never informed you of). I wish there was an option to put less stars as they do not deserve even 1! Please anyone reading this take your custom else where! It will save you alot of money and time!

Like many others, if I could give zero stars I would - if only I had listened! A brief run down of my issues to date..
-late payment of rent, twice! Only came to my account after I chased it many times
-initially refused to do a property visit during covid, despite offering to come and produce a video tour if I wanted to resign with them with new tenants
-no response for 2 weeks when I asked for a call back from the branch manager (had to ask 3 times!)
-and the latest… they’ve lost the spare key to the property. They refused to admit they had it (I have an email train to the contrary). I asked to speak to the branch manager, but he’s on holiday and there’s no one higher than him to talk to apparently

Again, like others, I have received compensation for previous issues, but nothing seems to have changed.

I can only hope you don’t ignore the many many negative reviews like I did. I was better off without an agent to manage the property…

If I could zero stars I would. Shambolic company. Ever since my tenancy switched to Countrywide/Frank Innes Nottingham the service (if you can call it that) has been abhorrent. Unprofessional &biased staff, no duty of care to tenants whatsoever.

I am currently pursuing my 2nd ombudsman complaint, having received compensation for the 1st one. Says it all really! Thankfully moving out of the property and to a better agency. Avoid at all costs!!!

I have purchased a property which was being dealt with the Frank Innes 'Burton-On-Trent' team. First Class performance, no issues with the following:

I purchased a property through the Loughborough branch of Frank Innes, and it was the most painful experience ever, the "Senior Sales Negotiator" I originally dealt with was incapable of telling me when the property would be vacated by the tenant who was in property despite numerous requests for that information, so I would have a rough idea of when the completion date would be and make plans accordingly.



After numerous requests for that information, I contacted the branch manager who was equally as unhelpful and rude, and I then had the displeasure of having him ignore any questions that I had and I even had to get my solicitor to get that information.



The branch manager continued to be insulant and unprofessional throughout the transaction, which went on for just shy of 9 months. On one occasion I requested a final viewing of the property prior to completion. The property had been empty for over 2 months at this point. A appointment was agreed and he did not show up. I had to ring the branch and ask where he was and his colleague said he was running late, but he did not even have the decency to let me know this.



The final insult was on completion day, I had notification in the morning that the sale had been completed and Frank Innes gave me the run around all day. I advised that I would come to collect the keys at 5pm and arranged to drop down. I was there at 4.55pm and no-one was there to hand the keys over. The phones had been placed onto the answer machine and no-one was answering emails. I then had to wait to the next morning to collect the keys.

If I could give a -10 rating I would, so my advice would be to avoid them like the plague, and if anyone from Frank Innes would like to contact me about the review, I will be happy to provide further details of my god-awful experience at the hands of their unprofessional employees.

With the house I was selling being unoccupied they did all the viewings which saved me a lot of time and trouble.

I hope I read the reviews here before signing the sell agent agreement. After I signed, they don't care how long it takes to sell your house. Anyway they charge 500 pound for just take the pictures. It's been weeks and none of the marketing advertisement is shown in website. Very unprofessional and ineffective.

Say they'll keep you updated and call back - still waiting for this. Dont bother to let you know the outcome of your application and the only way you know if it was successful is by checking their website and seeing the property is now let agreed. Dont respond to emails and their online chat option is full of incompetent staff with attitudes "I can send you a complaint form if you feel its necessary". Not sure where or how you were trained to deal with customers/clients, but you need a refresher. Abysmal company. Will not apply for a property linked to Frank Innes ever again.

Very miss leading with the video tours, they explained to me I couldn't have a viewing at first and they use wide angle lens on the camera to make properties look bigger than what they are, then they refuse to give back the deposit. Do not use these.

People are very lucky if their sale goes smoothly, ours certainly didn't. If it wasn't for the close and personal attention that Frank Innes gave us, the sale may not have happened at all. A big thank you to the Frank Innes office and particularly to Alice who kept us fully informed all the way through. We couldn't recommend them highly enough.

This was my first purchase of property in the UK. Am I glad that I made the purchase through Frank Innes. Elliott went the extra mile to arrange comprehensive and safe the viewing in covid19 times. I will 100% use Frank Innes (Mansfield) again! I called and dealt with Chris who was willing to come and see me that day. We had the house valued and pictures taken within a few days. Once the house was on the market they sold it within 1 day!! Every member of staff i spoke to was willing to help me as this was my first time selling a property and they have helped me every step of the way. I cannot fault them at all!

Started a new tenancy with Frank Innes recently, so far so good.. Emily and her team have been really polite, helpful and have kept us informed during the entire process, in particular as their was a delay in moving in due to the pandemic.

We had the pleasure (not) of dealing with Frank Innes for selling our house. We were told there was a “long list” of first time buyers and investors who could be interested in our house; we had one viewing from this. Also Frank Innes did all of our viewings and failed to sell the house bar one which we did ourselves and funnily enough were the people who bought our house. They told us we would be getting a local solicitor (I’m not exactly sure how local Leeds is to Sutton in Ashfield but there you go). I’m also STILL getting messages and calls from this solicitors despite not going with them. We had a much better experience with our sellers estate agent and will be going with the other one for future sales.

I recently needed a new teanant for my properly. Emily found one quite quickly and sorted out my queries re return on deposit to the former tenant. All the tenants found for me by Frank Inness have paid up reliably.

Emily was very helpful with helping me and my girlfriend move into our first apartment. She always kept us in the loop and explained everything to us carefully. Would highly recommend if anyone is looking for a property to move into :)
