Very simple process when we unfortunately had to make a claim for our old dog who was attacked by another dog off its lead, they thereafter claimed the money back for the surgery from the other dogs owner. FRANK dealt with it all to which we were very grateful for.

Great pet insurance providers
Frank were always really clear about insurance coverage and the claims process was so easy. Cat Insurance Claim
Unfortunately we had to make a claim for our much loved, but very poorly cat. After making the very difficult decision to have her put to sleep we contacted the insurance company who were compassionate and made the actual claim process very easy, and straight forward. They kept us up to date with the process of the claim, and worked with the vets concerning the costs involved. Settlement was made quickly. I would use Frank Insurance again in the future.

I was a customer of Frank Pet Insurance 2025-2026 and have recently chosen not to renew my policy following my experience of making a claim after the loss of my beloved 7 year old cat to Lymphoma.
My main concern relates to the policy wording around the death benefit. The policy states “Percentage of Price Paid (up to £1,000)”. As a reasonable consumer, I believed this referred to costs associated with the death of a pet, such as euthanasia. It was only during the claims process that I discovered it referred to a percentage of the original purchase price of the pet. I strongly recommend that Frank review and rewrite this section of the policy to make it clear that it relates solely to the original purchase price and not to end-of-life costs.
I found the handling of my claim to be insensitive and blunt at a time when I was grieving the loss of a much-loved family member. What should have been a straightforward and compassionate process became a source of significant stress and upset.
I took my complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service. Initially, my concerns appeared to be understood, however the final outcome did not reflect that position. While I accept the decision, it did not change my view that the policy wording is misleading and that the customer experience fell below what I would expect from a company dealing with bereaved pet owners.
As a result, I have chosen to cancel my policy renewal and move to another insurer.
I would encourage anyone considering this policy to read the death benefit section very carefully and ensure they fully understand what is, and is not, covered.
Sadly, based on my experience, I would not choose Frank Pet Insurance again.

Our Death of Pet benefit is a benefit to your policy where you can claim for the original purchase price you paid for your pet. More information can be found in your policy wording under Section 2: Death of Pet, which explains what this benefit is for.
End-of-life treatment costs such as euthanasia costs is also claimable but under a different part of the policy. More information can be found in your policy wording under Section 1: Veterinary Treatment.

Can honestly say this is the best pet insurance I have used , they are super helpful and quick at processing claims. They state it takes up to 10 working days to process claims but every time I put in a claim my money is in my account before I can blink. Will definitely carry on using them.

If I could give zero stars I would so take this as a zero star review. Having just made a claim they have refused to pay and cancelled my pet insurance as my dog had been “snappy” at the vets. He doesn’t like being messed with like lot of dogs. They have put this down as “aggression” and as such they will not now cover him which is a pathetic excuse to wriggle out of settling a claim. It also means I am unable to get new insurance. He was previously insured by Tesco who had no problem with “snappiness”. Lesson learned - don’t go with Frank as they may be cheaper than Tesco but totally useless. Give them a wide berth.
