Initial problem with dispatch. However, the customer service team was transparent,honest and explained what happened. These things do happen.

I order a surf skate (D-Street Multi Cut Back - 31 Inch Cruiser Complete) and a surf Leash
for CHF 133.85 (shipping included). Order number: 1707917.

I live in Switzerland.

I didn’t realize that the website was based in UK since prices were in CHF and the content translated to French.
So I had to pay an extra CHF 29.70 (= an extras 22% of the price + delivery) for importation and custom taxes... I was surprised because unlike other UK-based shop website, this extra cost was not clearly mentioned (nor estimated) during the order process... I should have checked their website for that before confirming the order. I have a part of responsibility in this but I like transparency.

My 1-star review is more about the state I received the surf skate. It looked like it was already used (was it demonstration skate board?).

It was scratched including in the front side, back side, front truck and top of the board... Some painting seemed to be used to hide the last mentioned scratch.

Considering that when buying a brandnew product it already losses 20-35% of its original value, adding the non expected cost of my order and the state of the surf skate received, I made a very bad deal and I feel to have been fooled.

I have nothing against secondhand product or buying demo models, but it should be specified and the prices adapted.

UPDATE 2 - ONGOING RESOLUTION

Few minutes after my Trustpilot review (1 star), I received an email from them.

After few emails, it seems that the board might have been used in the supplier warehouse. Freestylextreme said that they don’t open packages from suppliers during the process.

I have been offered a 50% off the board, shipping and duty fees. I have accepted and asked the amont to be send to payment method used for purchase.

I’ll update the review when the amount will be transferred.

PS: the person in charge of my complain was polite and very professional.

We purchased a skateboard and a hat from Freestyle Xtreme and love both items. It come packaged very well so everything was in perfect condition when it arrived.

A company that takes customer service beyond the usual levels....... how often are you sent a personalised message after a purchase to enquire what you are satisfied with it and the service?

Use this company - wide range of products, competitive prices, quick and reliable dispatch of goods. A family run business not a multiple

Fabulous service and after service with a personal touch. We bought a pair of shoes which arrived quickly and in perfect condition.

We would highly recommend using this small company who want happy customers and who make themselves available for email queries adding that personal touch and making you feel valued as a customer. Feels like good old fashioned service with a smile with the convenience of online shopping.

was looking for ages to find some solid motocross gear and this place was the only one i could find, i live overseas, seems like the uk got all the good hella exclusive stuff, and shipping was faster then expected and all, getting more gear for sure.

So i did write a 1 star review and suddendly everything changed, i started receiving email from them, saying they were sorry for the delays, finally got my tracking number 10 days after ordering. The package has now arrived so thank you.
Noone likes to be in the dark after spending 350$ so it would be great if you could be more proactive especially when you have no idea who on the other side of the world is take care of you order.

Great prices on a waterproof motorcycle jacket. Shipping was reasonable fast. It was free to the USA, so I can't complain. Great customer service - I'll continue to keep them in my bookmarks for future purchases!

FreeX was great. Had the lid I wanted at the best price, so I ordered it from the states. When the helmet got caught up in customs, FX helped me locate the package and always responded quickly to my emails. In short, they did all they could.

I’ve had no issues at all with my order from this website. After wearing the gloves 3/4 times , the seams started to release on one of the gloves. I contacted the customer service and they directly asked me to send some pictures so they could handle it with the brand itself. I’ve received my refund in a couple days.

The issue was fully taken care of in a matter of time , I will definitely order again !

Ordered the Caberg Tourmax in White, Website warned me it was a 4 day backorder with delivery on the Following Monday or Tuesday via Parcelforce. Received an email with tracking number informing me the delivery was the Saturday prior instead, was working so had to arrange for my son to take delivery on the Saturday morning. I could complain saying it was a bit inconvenient, blah blah. You know what I'm not. Excellent service, Item arrived well packed, cheaper than anywhere else and I get to try it out over the weekend. What's not to like.
