Awful service don't bother

Myself and my neighbour have been having issues with Freeview for over 2 months now. No one seems to be able to tell us anything other than the transmitter is still undergoing planned works and we don't know how long this will take. That isn't very helpful. No one seems to communicate with the engineers to find out when we will have our channels back, no one seems to care to sort this out. Getting sick going back and forth.

Humax Aura 1tb

Bought a Humax Aura 1tb, powered by Android. Right from the beginning this recorder appeared glichy and clunky. After 2 months and 2 days the remote stopped working and the system was stuck on the home screen permanently. I have tried everything suggested via all media, including Humax themselves. Still won't work! I've had it for fractionally over 2 months so am told I can't have my money back, only a replacement. But I DON'T want the same again. There are no reset buttons on the recorder and the remote will not reset either. Catch 22. Do not be tempted.

Constant retunes

Constant retunes, why, also so many repeated films, series etc it getting difficult to find anything to watch, quite dire.
I spend quite a bit of time in Spain and can honestly say i got a far better choice of English language tv series and newer films across in Spain than i get here in the UK with Freeview, DIRE !!

Was looking for itv b today just to…

Was looking for itv b today just to catch up on housewives I'd missed during the week and it's gone replaced with itv quiz a boring weekend of 80s 90s games shows all day long. You Was changed to you and drama don't they like to just p!$$ about with channels and moving them around to replace with apps you have to pay for add free. I've been watching the same crime shows judge judy or films for decades they never change just repeat after repeat for decades on end.
Never watch BBC pedo protectors indoctrination channels or Itv only free channels but I think its time the TV hits the dump because they want you indoctrinated and paying ridiculous subscriptions for Netflix sky etc which I will never pay for any of that rubbish and I've been told they repeat the same rubbish on their year in year out anyway.
Jew tube you have to pay 13 pounds a month for ad free these people are just greedy bar stewards and the BBC bigots bumming children will never get 1p from me send in the bailiffs because if you brush up laws with them they are pretty powerless too.

No signal for days now. I give up Freeview/digital signal.

No TV at all for days on end, despite trying two aerials. The problem is no signal more than not. This is a problem for the last few years. I don't need the expense at all but as I mainly just want to watch live TV I have had to get a TV which works through the internet, although don't want loads of channels or apps, just to watch a couple of hours of TV a day.

BBC WAS GIVEN 1.5 BILLION POUNDS BY THE…

BBC WAS GIVEN 1.5 BILLION POUNDS BY THE GOVERNMENT TO CREATE FREEVIEW. ITS PROGRAMMES MAINLY CHEAP DRAMAS, FILMS AND OTHER CHEAP SHOWS, ALONG WITH FLOODS OF CHEAP QUIZ SHOWS IS AN EMBARRASSMENT. NO WONDER 1.5 MILLION PEOPLE ARE NOT PAYING THE BBC LICENSE. FREEVIEW IS AN ABSOLUTE THEFT DISGRACE.

OBVIOUSLY THE FAT CAT DIRECTORS AND MANAGEMENT ARE LICKING THE CREAM. THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD TURN FREEVIEW OFF AND LET A PRIVATE BROADCASTER TAKE IT OVER. RIGHT NOW ITS A BAD JOKE AND A WASTE OF TAX PAYERS MONEY.

Freeview delivery is really pathetic

Freeview delivery is really pathetic. Whenever the TV requires a retune, the major channels are around 7 out of 10 but all of the 'minor' channels such as 'U' and Talking Pictures run around 2 out of 10. These minor channels appear to be even further reduced at around 2230 hours to a pixelated screen or an image stating 'No signal'.
What makes all this doubly annoying is that the Radio channels are all 10 out of 10. Who is going to listen/watch radio on a TV screen?

Lack of Freeview channels

Constantly unable to view Freeview TV channels, had a similar experience during December for well over a week. We were told that problems viewing Freeview would no longer happen when using a digital TV, the problems are equally as bad if not worse since changing to digital TV. In this day and age the service is appalling. Suggest Freeview find a solution to the problem.

I have tried god knows I have tried to make sense of freeview. They truly don't deserve one star I have lost count over the last couple of years how many times I've retuned my tv and got 151 channels and then suddenly lose over half of them. There are not appropriate words without being crude to describe a service as poor as freeview.

What has gone wrong with reception?

Nothing much yet again due to "atmospheric" conditions (which apparently didn't ever happen at all a couple of years ago but now every other day). Yet again only have a few channels today, and from what I have read I am not alone. No BBC, ITV, Channel 4 or 5 and many, many others missing or crackly as usual. Free TV, apart from a TV licence, is now a thing of the past.

Too many adverts

Too many adverts, always the same and they don’t have all the subtitles. Also why are we still paying for tv licence. Tv is repeats and lying adverts.the never ending repeats of say old shows And never ending Law and Order things are just churned around again and again. Less drama more advertising, terrible. Sometimes there’s just nothing decent to watch!
