Why are most of these reviews about content provided by the broadcaster and not the platform itself?

Freeview is not responsible for content, but for delivery, which it does pretty well. If the content's not to your taste, it's not Freeviews fault.

Repeats .repeats .from 15 yrs ago..its poor.

I wouldn't give you any stars if I could, these programs/ films are absolutely awful, it's Saturday night and I have just watched the repeats for the 7/8th time of All creatures great and small,then a film with someone happily sawing someone up lovely, great viewing, and I'm paying for this rubbish, you get enough from the constant increasing long horrible advertising, so put some watchable programs on. Oh and the date I have complained yet again is 9/11/2024, but your useless site won't acknowledge the correct date,which just about sums you lot up.hopefully tomorrow will be a better viewing day

When the ads get as much airtime as the programmes its time to quit watching.unfortunately any decent programmes on here are completely rendered unwatchable by the sheer volume of adverts.yes they need revenue to provide the service but everything is swamped with mind numbing tv ads.expect 20 minutes worth for every hour of viewing.they are slowly killing it and do not seem to realise through sheer greed.

In an era where satellite dishes are failing and an aerial is a thing of the past, Freeview Play in its current smart TV format is pointless. What it needs to do is what it does via the aerial, the mobile app and the PC app and that's be a streaming Tv guide. Stop trying to be netflix, google, Amazon etc and make your smart app the TV guide of the future. Fire stick apps can do it, why cant you! Myopic management unable to see the wood for the trees. Fund it with adverts down the right hand side.

The Al Jazeera news channel has been moved from Freeview 236 channel and re-tuned to 251. Now I don't have any access to Al Jazeera because its internet only, even though its still a Freeview channel? If its supposed to be "FREE", why then must I pay for an Internet connection? This is clearly censorship! The powers that be have removed my freedom of choice! Ofcom refuse to do anything about it, and Freeview are not interested in fixing the problem!!!

Spent half the movie watching commercials. Do you know how frustrating that is? And it’s the same commercials over and over and over, I gave up and went to Netflix. I’m watching a series, average length is about 55 minutes. With all the damn commercials, it’s now one hour and thirty minutes long. Pisses me off. I’m over it.

Your search system couldn’t find water at the beach

There are so many long ad breaks that the TV schedules should list them. So that we can discover the odd ten minute segments which are the actual program.

Absolutely ridiculous. 15 adverts between a programme. Is this what we're paying T.V license for, adverts?

Cheap nasty and mostly garbage television with poor quality programmes most of which are thoroughly depressing or are repeated over and over.

Well... you don't get much for free as they say...
except that it isnt really free at all as due to the extortionate cost of a Television license these days which isnt worth a penny of its asking price in my opinion. When you look at it the cost of Freeview and its associated apps are actually one of the most expensive TV services you can 'subscribe' to and you can thank the BBC for their 'forced and threatening business model' for this, who are also one of the worst channel providers on Freeview nowdays, i wish the BBC would do us all a favour and just close down and go away. Lets face it, if the BBC was subsciption only it would be lucky to get more than £4.99 a month from its subscribers. There is so much better free viewing on Youtube. Channels 4 and 5 are worth having but the rest ? Seriously I wouldnt miss them if they never aired again.
So, Free View ? I dont think it really is free do you ? Rubbish.

Freeview not working on tcl comes up with stupid code with no answers this is a free app so should work on every android tv utter crap. No fix or update. FVP 07-006.

I stop watching live TV about 8 to 10 years ago. What happened to our programmes all we get now is versatility rubbish programmes. BBC as a totally cheek still demanding a license fee for a service that not up to scratch there No programs that have any interest anymore. BBC are still in the Dark Times. Where the comedy entertainment etc programs like love Island are a joke just for hand full of people to have 2 minutes of fame it's a joke . We need to get our TV back to like the 80s with drama. Programmes of interest to many repeats see on one channel one night then repeat about 4 times in a week over other channels free view tv is a totally joke was better when we only had 5 channels on analogue

Its got to be the adverts on this, why are they so weird and don't make sense. They seem to go on for ever and i just flick over to another channel and so on and so on....until i find a channel that's playing.....

Tried to watch Itv3+1 at 9pm message-programmes start at 4 a.m. U.K. TV is now so bad with repeats and soft porn reality shows. Heads should roll.

What can I say , I use this app A lot and not cheap fares. My experience with the majority of drivers is good. But I’m afraid the rest 😂😂😂 Sooo disappointing. Like a lot of people on here taxis picking up fares whilst accepting your job and the time frame consistently changing if they bother to turn up at all ( I’ve had this to many times now, they cancel and try and charge) today is another example of freeview incompetence.
Ordered a PRIORITY TAXI my “priority” booking @ extra cost went from 3 to 6 to 7mins arrival ( I ordered the taxi @13:45 this was still going on @ 14:00) I had to cancel and reorder. The next driver was fantastic 🙌 this whole carry on made me late for work DO BETTER FREEVIEW IT WASN’T A €10 FARE. Not that that should matter !!! Seriously this is how you lose customers.
Again some really great professional drivers but you need to get a grip on the bad ones😣poor service = people looking for a better and more reliable services elsewhere 🤷‍♀️today is getting too frequent of an experience and given me the push to use a more competent company when I want a reliable booking.

Repeats repeats why ??? Waist of time

Hello, the preview of a program on Quest Red, where it shows people with grotesque facial disfigurements is very upsetting to see for some people.

For several weeks, there have been constant live outages in my area. This is happening far too frequently, and it's bad enough that there are very few channels to watch. I can understand why the service is called "freeview", because I certainly wouldn't pay for it.
