Only superking base that would fit under the eaves of our bedroom that I could find and the men who delivered it and put it together were very polite and quick, on time and left no mess.

Just what I needed for my DIY camper's slide out bed

We bought an Edinburgh Funky Futon in 2016 for a study spare room. Ordering and delivery were very prompt and efficient and we have been delighted with the sofa. It is comfortable to sit on and guests report it is comfortable to sleep on.
Last weekend I needed to move the sofa downstairs. My husband is ill and I wanted to sleep in the next room without disturbing him. I was not sure how to take the futon apart so phoned Funky Futon. I didn't note the name of the lovely man I spoke to but he was very patient and helpful and explained in detail, over more than one call, exactly how I - a rather mature lady - could dismantle and then put the futon back together. I followed instructions and after a bit of a fight on the stairs (not the fault of the instructions) I got the futon into the appropriate room and put it back together. It is extremely well engineered - I am married to an engineer so have had instruction in these matters - and was quite a simple process. I am sleeping comfortably so the guests were right.
I am immensely grateful for this exceptional after sales service so long after we bought a Funky Futon. Thank you.

We bought an Oxford Trifold futon three months ago and couldn't be more delighted with it. It looks good and several visitors have all reported sleeping really well; in fact one couple stayed for two weeks!
This is a great company to deal with. Ordering was easy, the futon was ready exactly when it was promised and as their van happened to be in our area, it was dropped off to save us collecting. Service as it should be.

I ordered the futon one morning last week and about an hour later got a phone call from Funkyfuton to say they had the exact mattress cover I wanted and they were making mattresses that day and they were delivering in my area the next day, so if it was OK with me could they deliver to me that next day? That's even better than Amazon Prime for most items and I readily agreed! So, 24 hours after ordering I had my funky futon, delivered and assembled with no fuss by a lovely young man. Thank you so much for all you did for me and I will certainly recommend you to anyone else who needs a fold-away bed.

This company were great to deal with. I had a chat with them when I ordered a pair of stacking futon beds, and the guy I spoke to was totally upfront and straightforward. From that point on everything went exactly as they said it would. The beds arrived slightly sooner than I expected, they were delivered by a very pleasant and helpful driver, and they are exactly as described and really high quality. We really couldn't ask for more.

Bought a fantastic futon from Funky Futon two years ago. It's been well slept on and is still incredible comfy. They seem to use properly good materials, unlike lots of other places that sell futon matresses.

They were great on the phone, taking the order, and even sending spare parts for free when I lost them in a house move a month ago.

We had almost forgotten that value, quality and customer service could be so good. We bought an Edinburgh sofabed and a bespoke Cottage Pine bed and mattress with capacious under-bed storage. Andrew was really helpful right from the start and Sam has hand made the bed beautifully. Having now slept on it, it's the most comfortable night's sleep you could have. Delivered and put together for us as well. We've now got a top quality bed and sofabed, hand-made in Leeds, all for the same price as something mass produced. Couldn't be happier.

I weigh 350 pounds and was sick of sofa beds breaking. I have had a double-sized Explorer for over ten years now and it's absolutely solid, I sleep on it every night and I couldn't break it even if I wanted to. Absolutely first class product, very comfortable, but now I am replacing the mattress - but only because it's covered in food stains, otherwise it would be good for another ten years.
