Customer service,and actual people to speak too.I rang to enquire if they could supply before a certain date.all the chosen parts,mattress,base were in stock.I was then rang back to let me know the order was ready for release.received a couple of days later.easy to assemble.quality construction,and materials.no splinters or rough edges.and a sensible thickness of wood.just waiting on our guest now.but we 've both had a try out,and can't see any reason for complaint.well worth it.thank you

First class service from start to finish, received Zen Stacking Beds on time and are more than happy with the product and the quality is excellent. Highly recommend.

It's the customer care that shines here. We've had their Hereford futon for a couple of years. It's such a well made piece of design and it's effortless to open and close.

But it's the companies service that's second to none and they can't be more helpful. We are gifting our futon and reached out for help in how to dismantle it. The team installed it for us at purchase time so we had no experience of installation. They sent over a link with pictures and even offered to visit and dismantle it for us if we got into difficulty.

Can't say enough nice things about this company. Not only did they move heaven and earth to get the product to me on time - even being prepared to come in the evening when their van was giving them difficulties (and I do not live locally) - but the futon itself is terrific and has exceeded my expectations - notably high quality, and much more solid than I dared to hope, just a lovely piece of furniture. I would recommend Funky Futon to absolutely anyone.

We had 2 futons made to measure and the quality seems excellent; we wanted two separate ones so as to turn them more easily. However, when we asked for the depth measurement before purchasing, we were told "the depth is 9cm thick"- when they arrived they were 11.5 cm each, meaning 5 cm. deeper in total. They were too thick and soft - we had understood they would reduce down by 20% over time but that would still end up too thick for us. When I pointed this out, we were told the measurement given was just the filling without the wool layers and cotton cover! They offered to remove a layer but insisted we pay for the transport, which would have been very expensive as the futons were king size and very heavy. We (politely) asked them to cover the cost, given the thickness was not as described, at which point Mark became rude: "It’s not my problem you do not understand futons, and their nature to bed down." We understand it fully, having slept on futons for decades; instead the problem here is clear communication with customers. Giving a measurement for only the filling (without even saying so) is uninformative and unhelpful. In the end we got a local upholsterer to remove a layer at very reasonable cost and are very happy with the thickness now, but this could all have been avoided if descriptions were accurate to start with.

I have a Lovely Carlisle model. It is 4 years old now and going great. Very very comfy both as a bed and as a sofa. Scatter a few cushions on it and it looks super. Colour Tarragon Hopsack Cotton Deluxe. Lovely fresh look in the white stain clear finish. Well done FunkyFuton.

I needed a comfortable but strong sofa bed for my young 6’ 2” grandson who was visiting from New Zealand and it had to fit into my study. I decided on a futon and liking the look of the Funky Futon products rang Andrew who as so helpful, advising me that the Devon small double sofa bed with the Plus Wool Mattress would best suit my requirements. I live on my own in the southwest and Andrew suggested that for a reasonable extra charge FF would deliver and construct the sofa bed for me (a shout out here to Sam the delivery driver). My grandson spent two weeks sleeping on that futon and declared it very comfortable and it looks super now that it is back to being a sofa in my study. I cannot recommend this company and its products and service enough. A big thank you to all at Funky Futon.

Purchased a King Size Wool, Cotton and Latex mattress. One or the few suppliers which provide a natural chemical free mattress. Great value and just as comfy as mattresses at twice the price. Hand made in Britain. Great customer support. Doesn't get any better than that!

Ordered an Edinburgh double with the upgraded fabric. Very happy with it as a sofa and guests have now stayed and complimented it as a bed as well! Fantastic service with a call to confirm everything and sort delivery date. Was a bit quicker than I'd expected which was ace! Delivery was great and just cannot fault. Happy from start to finish with this one and can highly recommend!

I bought a Pheonix futon for my son a couple of months back. I wanted something that could be used temporarily as a bed then could be used as a sofa/ sofa bed. It’s beautiful looking, well made and comfortable, exactly what I wanted.

The funky futon wool double bed mattress with added micro pockets provides a comfortable sleep (and not itchy at all). Well made. Highly recommend. Healthy choice particularly for anyone who has been very ill or suffers will allergies/eye irritation as wool doesn't harbour nasties.

We needed a mattress at short notice and decided to go for a single futon mattress. Andrew at Funky Futon was wonderfully obliging when I called him to discuss what we wanted and the fact that we needed it within a week. He set about manufacturing the futon and had it delivered on time. As for the futon itself, the person who slept on it for two nights had two great nights sleep. We've had an Osaka bed base and a Devon sofa-bed for the past year and are very happy with both. Andy was very helpful in answering some of my queries on the phone prior to ordering, and being able to see samples was great. The delivery was quick, with good communication from Funky Futon, and the installation went quickly and smoothly. The sofa-bed gets used daily as a sofa and has had plenty of use as a bed as well, and remains super comfy 12 months on. We would definitely recommend Funky Futon and would buy from them again. Great company.

I bought a Cambridge small double futon a couple of months ago. I think this is a well designed futon that is well made. We have only used this as a sofa so far and it has not been used as a bed hence why I am giving 4 stars. We live close to Leeds so actually visited the showroom prior to purchase and Andrew was very helpful and informative. The only problem we had was that the bag of parts to assemble it and the accompanying instructions did not match and were out of date. However, Andrew did address the discrepancy promptly by sending a short video to clarify.

In summary I would recommend this product and company as they compare very favourably with other similar products on the market that we viewed.
