Well-made, good price and happy to deliver 100s of miles

Great product, solid construction, made in UK, excellent customer service -- will definitely use again next time I need a futon/bed/sofa. If only all businesses were this well run, the world would be a better place!

I found Funky Futon because I was looking for a company that prioritised sustainability, as well as chemical-free living. This comes with none of the chemical fire retardants (just natural ones instead), and what was amazing was that it just didn't smell when we brought it inside. It's comfy, well-made, good choice of fabrics, the frame is sturdy and good quality, and everyone that has slept on it says it is a great night's sleep. Service was second-to-none and it's nice to find a family-run business.

We've got quite an awkward loft bedroom so wanted a low bed to allow some space for moving around. Went for the 4-layer Tokyo Bed Roll coupled with the Shiki bed base in King size, plus the same combo in small single size for our toddler and we've never slept so well since moving to England (which seems to have an inclination towards bulky and overly soft mattresses, compared to the continent). In hindsight, we could have even opted for the 3-layer version as the 4-layer really is super snug and comfy, and we both prefer firmer beds with a bit of a camping feel. Overall, an ideal sleeping setup for a limited loft space. Shipment took a tiny bit longer than expected but the staff really easy to reach and friendly too, so no problem in getting a delivery update and a text when everything was ready. Good communication from the driver too, so no problem with delivery at all. Toddler loves the bed, travels around like a minute hand throughout the night, me and my wife obviously sharing the small single and her occupying the king size...oh well...

Very helpful staff and good communication. I made a mistake with the delivery address and they even replied on a Sunday to let me know not to worry and that it was sorted.

The futon serves our needs for the occasional overnight guest. I loved the fresh wood smell thst filled the room the first few weeks.

Very happy with our split futon mattress. It was not easy finding a supplier to replace the mattress as nobody seems to import the size any more. Mark was helpful in arranging the custom mattress. Delivery was late in the evening due to a terrible day of traffic locally but they called ahead to ensure it was still ok.

Really helpful as to guidance in the mattress we needed .We wanted a single futon and mattress and a single mattress for an existing single futon mattress to use everyday. We were advised to order the deluxe mattress, amazing ,so comfortable.Definitely recommend the funky futon company .

Wonderful customer service both times we have used Funky Futon - first for cushions and then for a futon mattress, both of which are fantastic quality and very comfy.

Brilliant futon, company were great at suggesting the best one for my particular needs. I have chemical sensitivity but have had zero reactions to sleeping on this. If you're thinking about getting one...do it. Super happy customer

Fabulous company to deal with and a fabulous product.
Delivery very efficient and the delightful young man put the futon together for me. It is a really comfortable sofa and so easy to turn into a small double bed. The drawer takes all the bed linen. I could not be more pleased.

Fabulous futons, we have two doubles and two singles used in holiday accommodation and have now just bought another double for my Mums flat. Service is impeccable as well, I highly recommend Funky Futons.

I purchased a Luxury Natural Wool Matress a few weeks ago and I am really pleased with it. It is well made, super comfortable and cosy and naturally sustainable. The description on the company website is honest and accurate as were the comments from Mark when I made an initial inquiry by phone about the matress. Bear in mind that wool matresses are likely to have a residual smell from the previous incumbents of the fleece, something Mark pointed out, however it is reasonably unobtrusive and I don't find it a problem. The matress was delivered at a convenient time for me and overall the product and buying process has been faultless. I would highly recommend the product and the company.

The service provided by the company is great from the first call to enquiry about the product. The delivery was made on the day is was scheduled for. The guy that completed the assembly couldn't be nicer . The futon sofa bed is very comfortable as both sofa and bed, high quality materials and great craftsmanship.
Highly recommend this company, it won't be my last purchase.
