I bought the Oxford tri-fold pine futón online. I had a call from Andrew the next day to discuss delivery as I had left a query on the message section. He was very helpful and gave great advice. My futon was delivered a week later. The delivery guy was lovely and really polite. He was from the company itself (I didn’t use the courier company in the end) He brought the futon up to my top floor flat and put it together. Yes it cost a little more, but so worth it. It was delivered in the time advised, no issues at all. I had great service from this company. It is so nice to find a company that makes their own furniture here in the UK and a company that takes pride in their work. I highly recommend them and would definitely buy from them again without hesitation.

Bought 2 sets of stacking beds - one for each room. Fantastic quality product, great finish, mattress comfortable and using them as a day sofa when no guests doing sleep overs. Come on castles that don’t mark the floor when moving them around. Delivery and assembly brilliant. Excellent customer service and communication. Couldn’t be happier. Despite a bit of a clunky website, very nice guys and they made a great futon.

I've lived on futons most of my life, and this one - despite being one of their cheaper ones - was still really high quality, perfect thickness & firmness. Really pleased with the quality of construction.

For delivery, they called me - they're a pretty old-school kind of company in that way, and asked me whether I'd rather have the futon shipped in their van (2 weeks wait) or have it sent sooner by courier (but postal strikes meaning less reliable). Went with their van, and they kept me updated fully; including a text an hour before arriving. Really nice guys, I think one of the guys who actually built it; might have been the one driving the van.

Just really great experience, really quality bed with no bad surprises at all. You just need to look past the slightly dated website design (I mean, they make futons - not websites. In a way, take some comfort from where they're spending their time)

After placing my order online I received an email to say they couldn't honour my fabric choices. However, they stated they would allow me to place a follow up order (paid for) for mattress covers in that fabric and colour several months later if I chose and paid for a different option in the interim. Stupidly, I fell for it. After several months I emailed them asking if they could make mattress covers in my preferred fabric and colour and they completely ignored me. Very unprofessional.

I've been sleeping as an adult on futon mattresses for 35 years so I know a really well made futon when I see one. I chose a four layer tokyo bed roll in mustard to compliment my existing tatami mats. Once the order was placed I was kept up to date with its progress as these items are hand made to order. Tracking was sent to me so I knew when to expect delivery. The mattress exceeded my expectations, I had a peek inside the cover to discover how professionally it had been made with very high quality materials, not the usual recycled odds and ends found in other brands. I'm so chuffed to have found a company in the UK making such high quality items as it's saved me a lot if I'd purchased and had the same shipped from Japan. Really pleased, I'll definately use this company again if I need future futons.

I ordered the bingley bed without the draw and with cotton drill fabric and the mattress with springs. I also paid for assembly.
The only thing i'd say that wasnt outstanding was the additional recommended cost of assembly that required a specific spanner i think to do, i wish i had known about it sooner. But i was given a discount to help out.
All in all i'd buy from them again, everyone was polite, the bed is so comfy and sturdy and i don't regret not going for the larger company atall. I'm completely satisfied with my purchase and recommend to anyone thats hesitant to go ahead! I even find folding and unfolding it to be easy aswell.

We visited the factory and where made extremely welcome. As a result we ordered three sofa beds. The service delivery and general helpfulness of the team at funky futons is of the highest class. We thoroughly recommend them as a business and a product. Many thanks.

We’re really delighted with our new Carlisle futon. The quality is excellent. It’s extremely comfortable and was easy to assemble too! Perfect for our spare bedroom / home office. Funky Futon kept us advised of when delivery would be made, which made the customer experience a very pleasant one. Very highly recommended!

Had the futon a few months now, great as a sofa, nice comfy mattress good to sleep on, easy to put out and put away, drawer ideal for storing bedding. Customer service spot on. Liked it so much went back for a Manchester.

I bought 14 futons to use in our glamping Tree House site at Yurtshire Eavestone Lake. They are stylish, comfortable and hard wearing. Great company to deal with too. Highly recommend. We are buying more!!

Very comfortable sofa and bed. By far the best in the market. Also a great range of coverings. We went with a grey wool which is stylish and hard wearing.

Amazing customer service! Funkyfuton made a Shiki frame and adapted it to my specifications, making it in two parts so that as my child grows, it can be used with an adult mattress, as well as with the child length mattress now. Perfect!

I bought 2 futon covers for memory foam mattress toppers I already owned. Received them very quickly, and am very happy with the quality, they have been in frequent use for 6 months now, with no signs of wear at all.
