Funstock Digital did not deliver Mafia III pre-order and does not respond to emails about the matter. Had to escalate to a PayPal Claim. Avoid this shop.

I've purchased two games from Funstock, and both times the games were cheaper on that site than any other, not to mention that they included a deal on TOP of the initial discount. The buying process w... See more

In pains me to say this, but Funstock has consistently failed to honor their promises.

As someone else noted, "Funstock has shown several times that they do not honor their deals. Whether it be in the case of Deus Ex Mankind Divided and No Man's Sky where they cancelled all orders after release despite hoarding everyone's money for months, or Xcom 2 and Fallout 4, where keys were delayed for days and lacked preorder bonuses."

Myself and many others had preordered Deus Ex Mankind Divided (order #20047861) and on release day, heard nothing. No one got keys. No one got email responses. No update on Facebook or Twitter. No replies to comments. Over a full day later, Funstock sent an email explaining they were cancelling and refunding all orders.

This is a horrible, horrible way to treat your customers. For this situation, we not only missed out on playing the game on release day plus missed out on all the preorder bonuses, but we missed out on getting the game for $40 from competing vendors, none of which are still selling the game for $40 (since prices always increase right after release.)

I stuck up for Funstock during the Fallout 4 debacle because they had given everyone free season passes, but cancelling everyone's order the day after release without any sort of compensation is just wrong. This situation was actually far worse due to the complete lack of response on Funstock's part and the fact that no one recieved keys despite waiting a full day.

It's sad to say, but I absolutely cannot recommend Funstock Digital to anyone. If you'd like countless other accounts of their awful anti-consumer practices, search "Funstock" on GameDealsMeta and sort by newest threads.

[Note: If Funstock contacts me and offers to make things right like they did with everyone who preordered Fallout 4 and received keys days late, I'll revise this review ASAP.]

Several Great Experiences

I've made several purchases here and been happy every time. A couple of times I ordered more than one game in a purchase and had missing keys, but upon contacting Support they corrected everything and all is well. I'd buy here any day of the week!

Excellent experience

Preordered an AAA game for half the price big retailers sold it for. A few hours after the game was released, I receive an activation key.

Extremely satisfied.

Good prices and nice offers

I've bought games at Funstock several times and the prices were always good and paying and emailing were quick and easy. Codes always worked, no problems at all. The fraud check once happened but didn't slow the process that much.

Easy purchase

I picked up Project Cars from them while on sale. There was no trouble retrieving the key on Steam and so far no problems at all. I am a US based client and the key worked just fine.

Fraud Check A Pain

I was randomly chosen for a fraud check despite using Paypal. This delayed the delivery of my key. If that hadn't happened I would give 5 stars instead of 4. No problems otherwise and another order placed minutes after this one completed quickly with no fraud check. Unfortunately the 2nd one was a DLC for the first one so it was unusable until the first one passed the fraud check..

Easy to place order; fast resolution of query across time-zones; but instructions can be made more accurate

1) I found it pretty easy to place the order for far cry primal (not to mention the awesome discount!)

2) The order processing and helpdesk's replies were fairly quick, considering I'm in a different time-zone (Hong Kong).

3) Slight hiccup when the order was shown as "completed" yet there was no key in email or in my account on funstock's website.

4) This last point is not a deal-breaker for me but perhaps it can be clarified whether a key is for steam or uplay, etc. (I first tried the key in steam per the instructions but it didn't work...so I quickly tried in uplay and it worked)
