Excellent customer service

We were assisted by Justyna who definitely knows the range that Furniture Village offers. Due to a small lounge, we are limited with the size of furniture we can have but Justyna came up with some ideas which we wouldn’t have thought of.

Trevor at the Cheltenham Store was great really knowledgeable and helpful. He made sure we were choosing the right furniture for us.

New Year meant new mattress. Called into Furniture Village on 2nd January. Went to Cheltenham store and was greeted by a sales representative named Justyna. She was polite, friendly, chatty and very helpful. She asked us what we were looking for and showed us to the bedroom dept. Her knowledge of the various products was impressive and she did NOT push any particular item because, her words, ''You will be sleeping on the mattress so you make your choice." She readily accepted our need to give the choices more thought and we asked for her card. We said we'd make our decision soon and left. We were extremely pleased with everything Justyna had done for us. We went to other places over the weekend but returned to Furniture Village on 5th January 2026 to purchase the first mattress shown to us previously. When we walked into the store Justyna was again friendly, chatty, helpful and professional. She is an asset to the store and the company. Recommending Justyna is a pleasure and strongly suggest that you ask for her help and assistance when you next go to Furniture Village in Cheltenham. Five star's isn't enough.

Initially put 5 stars as couldn’t fault the sales team in Cheltenham. Unfortunately it went down hill from that moment on. Quoted 10 week delivery which turned out to be 14. All of the items that turned up were of such poor quality that they were essentially scrap and needed to be replaced. It’s now 6 months since unfortunately I chose Furniture Village and I’m still waiting to see what quality the next one will be.

Just to pre-empt the standard response that reviews seem to get on here I have already been communicating with myexperience@furniturevillage and that was where the problems started. ‘My experience’ of that team is really poor!

Update August : having ordered this at New Year I am now awaiting a third delivery as everything in the second was also of such poor quality it is once again scrap. Looking at an October delivery for the next one. TEN MONTH DELIVERY NOT TEN WEEKS!!!!

The sales assistant was helpful, able to answer questions, gave me time to make up my mind - not pushy. She was very efficient and the purchase was accomplished swiftly.

Had a good range of the item we were looking for and great service from a member of staff who always remembers us and what we tend to like

Karen at Cheltenham branch was very attentative and very useful with knowledge. No sales pushing which would turn me off and spent enough time with us. Great employee!
