Furniture Village - Worcester Reviews 

Sales exec was knowledgeable and helpful that was great in store. But after purchase we are told a different timescale on delivery. In store we were told “it’s in stock, will be delivered in 7 days”. It took 4 days for the delivery team to get in contact and now we will have to wait longer as we are told “the stock is in a warehouse and we can’t get to it quickly”, so we are having to wait much longer than we were told

Fantastic experience really helpful

I went to the Worcester store and Ricardo Barbosa was fantastic, he was so informative and helpful in helping me when l was looking at various dining sets. He wasn't pushy, if the measurements work l would definitely buy of him and he really knew his stuff. I have often been to the Cheltenham store and nobody has ever bother to help, so l wouldn't buy from there on principle. I was really impressed with Ricardo and the selection of dining furniture.

I ordered 3 barstools on 22/02/26 at a cost of £548, I was told they were in stock and would be in store for me to collect the following week. I decided to pay in full because I would be picking them up in a matter of days.
Weeks later I tracked them to see they were still being made. I have phoned Furniture Village many times and eventually got angry with them. They prioritised me and within a week I had a phone call to say they would deliver FOC as an apology for their poor service and lack of communication. The day before delivery I had a phone call to say they wouldn't be delivered because they were the wrong barstools!
Furniture Village said they would look into the matter and get back to me. I heard nothing. A few weeks later I phoned again, said they would get straight back to me, they didn't. A week later, the same again. Early yesterday morning I rang again demanding answers, good or bad, that day. Late afternoon I still hadn't had a response so I rang again and refused to put the phone down until I had some answers.
At this point I was told that they had changed their system and my order had got lost and I would have to reorder and it would be another 4-5wks. So it is 12/05/26 now, meaning if they are true to their word I should see them towards the end of June, that's 4 months with my full payment and me spending a lot of time on the phone trying to get information from Furniture Village.
My problem is that these stools match some furniture I already have.
Their lack of communication and customer service has been atrocious.

The whole shopping experience was dealt with knowledgable and courteous staff and the delivery personnel were equally as good .

The staff also where we purchased from at Worcester are so genuinely pleasant and knowledgable. Not pushy either. It's made buying a pleasure and it's encouraged us to want to buy from that store.

Myself and my partner have recently renovated our first house. We were looking for a sofa and planned to visit Oak furniture, Dfs and Furniture Village.
Furniture Village had a lovely welcoming bright showroom with a large variety on offer. I highly recommend Bex, she went above and beyond to help us find the right fit and style sofa for us and talked us through the variety of sofa materials available. We left dreaming of this one sofa whilst we visited other showrooms. Fair to say nothing compared to the wide selection and care from the staff members like Furniture Village. The next weekend we went back and again saw Bex who helped us purchase the sofa: we went though all the fine details, warranty, care, etc. She was so lovely and friendly and is a credit to the team at Furniture Village.

Ricardo was amazing. No pressure. Very knowledgeable. Explained everything. Very pleasant & well spoken & a pleasure to deal with. Made our shopping experience worth the while.

We purchased 6 dining chairs and 4 Bar stools from the Worcester store and the lovely Georgia was outstanding and so helpful, excellent customer service and product information, looking forward to taking delivery

So it was great to receive a call from them apologising for the mistake

We bought a dining table and chairs from furniture village. The person who helped us was excellent. She was polite and respectful. Gave us space to choose and gave very helpful advice. She helped us get exactly what we wanted.

During the process of choosing a new sofa for my lounge, I visited the Worcester store and interacted several times with James Hyland on each occasion he acknowledged me in the store gave helpful advice and information and also gave me the space to quietly narrow down my choices for the right style & size for my lounge. I felt so at ease with his approach that I specifically sought him out on my final return yesterday to make my purchase. He is extremely polite ,professional , informative, thorough & very personable . I visited several retailers whilst making my purchase decision and the store, the product and James shone in comparison to your competitors, Thankyou James for your excellent service . I am looking forward to enjoying my new furniture when its delivered and I have no doubt that I will purchase from Furniture Village again in the future and recommend you to friends and family.
