I acquired a Gift Card valued on 20€ in Spain. Now all shops I knew are gone and I cannot spend them in Spain and I am not provided with a solution yet. This is not about your British shops but GameStop bussiness generally.

Ordered back in Xmas period, all went OK with payment and everything else but there was a slight delay with the delivery, as they wanted to confirm the details for security reason so it's fine by me and nice to see they are on top of their games to prevent any doggy transactions. Console arrived in of course brand new box and all seem in order along with a little surprise in a box as a thanks i guess Batman A.Knight so i was very happy with their service and highly recommended. If there is a issue please contact them via email or telephone number as they are very friendly and usually gets back in time, their closing time is different so check before calling alternatively email them. again I like to thank them for the product and the gift they sent me :) Baris from London

Unreal service! Ordered a product on the Wednesday evening, received tracked by Friday 1pm. Tracking txts and updates were brilliant. I was able to follow the delivery driver online and received an eta for the delivery on Friday morning 8am. Supurb!....will be using Gamestop again!!

I made my first order last week with Gamestop, and it is likely to be my last. Today they have cancelled my order as they are out of stock, but didn't even have the courtesy to notify me. Luckily I paid via paypal so have received the refund.

Excellent company with well priced products and first rate service. I bought a refurb xbox but it really was as good as new and well packaged. Also had a three month warranty, despite its age. 10/10

I've had only positive experiences here.

Have used GameStop a few times now for shopping online. Items arrive fast and safe. Any questions you have are answered fast and polite.

Item did not arrive but the customer care team were easy to communicate with and the matter was resolved.

As a reluctant online purchaser of electricals I have been completely satisfied with the service from GameStop and wouldn't hesitate to buy again and highly recommend to others.

My house got burgled just before Xmas day and both my son and my nephew's PS4's and games were the only items taken.

I tried Amazon, Argos, Currys and Ebay but was not happy with the bundles on offer. I popped into Game and none of the cheap, but quality games bundles were in stock, the over priced and "old" bundles were in stock and also Game said they do not negotiate, so waited till New Year's Day. Shock and Horror to find Game, Ebay, Amazon, Argos and Curry's had all put their prices up and the bundles were higher price for the poor quality games! Found Gamestop.co.uk, which by the way does not appear on any search engines. A cousin of mine told me by off chance on New Years Day about them. I went online and found amazingly low priced PS4 consoles. I quickly placed an order with them and ordered 4 quality games which were also at reduced priced. Free tracked delivery by DPD included.
Couple of days later Stephen from Gamestop called to make a security check, which I liked, because it could have been anyone placing the order! I am now just waiting delivery which should be this Friday and two happy teenagers!!!!!

Excellent service, my issue has been dealt professionally and fast.

Ordered a PS4 1tb mega pack. Was given a delivery date which passed was then told my item was being packaged for dispatch that day. Several days later then told due to the December storms items hadn't arrived in their warehouse! !!. After several more days I was told the ps4 was out of stock. For goodness sake if your going to make up stories at least stick to one lie.
Finally I was given a tracking order number which for some reason showed the ps4 sat in DPD Ireland for two days without an update then the update it would be delivered that morning. Great it finally arrives ... only to open the box and find a Swedish PS4 all packaging in Swedish all instructions in Swedish and supplied games boxes and instructions in Swedish. Ok they play in English however my issue is I can not trade this console in at a later date or trade the games If I wished to do so. I would never had ordered this PS4 if gamestop would have advertised it as an import.
I have used the analogy of who would buy a car they could never sell on !
I contacted Playstation UK which gamestop.co.uk advised me to do for an English set of instructions and user manuals.
Response from Playstation UK. Speak to your retailer (well gamestop are totally unhelpfull) or speak to Sweden it's not a UK machine we can't help.

Mis advertised product poor customer service dreadful after sales support .... will never use gamestop.co.uk again

Wished I had paid £20 more and purchased from a UK high street well known store.

I found this company by chance, I had never heard of GameStop. I needed an urgent present sending out right on top of Christmas. Everywhere else I looked was out of stock. I e-mailed them before ordering and I received a reply straight away, I knew there would probably be a very slim chance I would get my purchase on time. But I was lucky and it was delivered on Christmas Eve. There prices are excellent, where most of the game/toy shops hiked up their prices. And auction sites almost tripled thier prices, I would defiantly recommend buying from them.

One of the items that I ordered said only 7 left place your order soon on the product page. I placed my order and awaited an e-mail confirming my order. I received an e-mail to say my order had been confirmed. I paid extra for DPD for delivery and monitored my e-mail for a dispatch notice, however two days later I received an e-mail telling me that the item that had only 7 left had gone out of stock and I would not receive the item.
I contacted Gamestop by phone and asked how was this possible, I was informed that by the time the order reached the warehouse the item had gone out of stock, I indicated my dismay at this following the e-mail confirming the order, however, I felt that my words were falling on deaf ears, I asked them to delete my account as I will not purchase from them again, however, this has not been done.

Bought a ps4 online and all was well until I tried to use it. I believe it has a hard disk problem as it won't boot properly after repeated o/s install attempts. I have emailed gamestop multiple times stating that I would like to return the faulty goods for a refund. I have been waiting for a reply for a week now and I have had no answers from them apart from an automated email stating that my query has been registered and that they will get back to me yadda yadda high number of customer queries so might take some time to respond, yadda. Funny that because when I sent question to them days before and I had a response within 24 hours.
Their terms say that I need to wait for their sayso before returning items but if they don't respond soon I will send it back anyway. I am fully aware of my rights under the new consumer law and if this is an attempt at making me go outside of the returns period then they are in for a shock.

Ordered a PS4 Mega Pack from them and my friend did the same, simply 30 minutes apart.

He's been sat happily playing his within two days of order, I've had no dispatch confirmation for the exact same order I placed well over a week ago for something they had in stock and indeed still have in stock.

I've phoned, emailed, tweeted to try and find out why for over three days and so far have received absolutely no response. I'll give it another 24 hours and then I'll set the credit card company on them.

I'm genuinely concerned they may not actually be trading they're that unresponsive.

My first time order from this company and I can confirm it was great no problems as I live in West Yorkshire England. Ps4 controller arrived within 5 days and it was best price compared to all the big uk stores and online stores. Well done great company to purchase from and I will purchase again in future.
