From a satisfied customer
I ordered three ferns from Gardens4You, and then, belatedly, looked for reviews of the company and where it was based. I found a lot of very bad reviews on several review websites, and thought that I had made a grave error. However, this morning the ferns arrived from the Netherlands within 3 days. They were beautifully packed and undamaged by their journey, and their plant passports were attached. Each fern had a very good root system and they are now in the garden where I am sure they will settle down quickly. I just wanted to show that not everyone's experience of this company is bad. Thank you Gardens4You.
Don't bother
Delivery was prompt but the plants were pitiful, not dead but miserable little specimens I doubt will last the winter. The Ilex were the best of the lot, but they are nearly indestructible. Don't bother.
Terrible customer service - 2 months after order no plant no updates!
Having read the amount of bad reviews, I'm no longer surprised. My husband ordered a rhododendron 2 months ago. He didn't hear anything further after the initial confirmation so asked for an update. He was told on 6/7 that he'd get an email when the plant is being dispatched. He's had nothing since. They've taken the money but still no plant or any recent updates. We've now asked for another update. I've never known a company to take your money, but not tell you what's happening with the order, especially if there's delays for any reason. I dread to think what will turn up (if it ever does) after reading the bad reviews!

Sent a dead plant when I sent pictures and complained said it’s last one in stock it will be fine and if I want a refund send back at my cost which would be more then plant - when I said that’s not acceptable man said - tough!
I didn’t have any issue with my order
I didn’t have any issue with my order. I ordered a Monstera Deliciousa and it arrived on time and in good condition, considering the transit and handling. I’m very happy. Would use again.

Do not use !!!
Ordered plants, they arrived dead. Contacted seller and they advised to plant and see if they grew (we took their advice). They didn’t grow as we expected. Dead plants rarely grow in my experience.
Tried to claim a refund and they ignored our multiple emails. Trying to claim through PayPal. - order ref Invoice ID 1-338835

First and Last time using these.
Plants were despatched and arrived five days later in a very sorry state. I am trying to save them now but not holding out much hope. First and last time i use this company.
Do not use this company
Where to start... I didn't receive an order confirmation or have any tracking details. I emailed the company (no number on website) and did not receive a reply. The package finally arrived, the plants are in such a state, the lavender is mouldy & rotten, the thyme is half bare & the eucalyptus dry to a crisp. They will not recover and I shouldn't have to spend time cutting back and nursing to health. Unfortunately there is no option to attach photographs here. I have been told by the Customer Service rep I will have to wait a week and get back in touch as "they look like they will recover". He couldn't even tell me the names of the plants he was referring to! He also would not refer me to a Manager "as they do not do that". Disgusting customer service and I just want a refund, which they are currently refusing. DO NOT USE.
I am editing my review to account for their response... I checked every folder & did not receive any email from them. It seems many others on here did not either. I also spoke to a customer service rep (Gerald) twice and sent 2 emails, both with photos attached. I use patch plants & various other online plant retailers & do not have this problem. The soil was saturated and hadn't been cared for properly prior to delivery. The box was delivered to a neighbour & there was no delivery card. I couldn't track the delivery as no emails! The pots of Thyme are also tiny & not as the pictures suggest. Everything about this customer experience has been awful.

Plant sold with rot
Gardens4you sold me a rubber plant that was potted and cared for incorrectly prior to shipping. The stem was submerged too deep in soil and the soil was water logged. When the plant arrived it had root rot that spread up most of the stem. It has since died despite my best efforts to revive it. I notified Gardens4you of this event which was greeted with unprofessional conduct. I would recommend using alternative suppliers to this company.
Disappointed with plants received
I ordered 2 plants and paid over £40.00.
I was disappointed that they did not look up to the same standard of the photo, or the description on the website. I felt that they were only worth half the price, if that.
I contacted customer services who replied quickly but did not offer me any compensation for sending sub- standard plants.

I ordered two miniature rose trees i opened the box to what looked like a box of soil, trees where out of their pots and was a complete mess these were supposed to be a birthday gift, i emailed them and sent a picture there reply was "i am unable to tell if the plant will survive or if its a lost cause, we are awaiting your reply with great interest" so much for a guarantee
Awful Customer Service.
Awful Customer Service.
Paid £6 for 2-3 day delivery. Was NOT notified that I needed to be in to receive the parcel nor was I provided with a tracking number.. All couriers leave parcels either down the side of the house or in our (always open, shed). Instead, this driver takes the parcel for the entire weekend and by the time he eventually redelivers on Monday, my Lobelia is dead, Buddleia & Grape Vine damaged and not in good health either and the company never had any sympathy.
They made excuses for the Delivery farce and told me that "the plants should recover". Many of them were meant as Gifts which I was unable to give.
NEVER AGAIN and had I seen all these negavtive reviews, I wouldn't have given them my custom in the first instance.
Perfect and as Described
Fantastic experience with Gardens4You ordered a variety of Dahlias, Iris, ixia, gladiouli, anemone and ranunculus. All come extremely quickly infact so quick i had to store for 2 weeks to avoid frost on some plants (mainly dahlias). All bulbs have now fully grown and either flowered or in the process of flowering. Plenty of flower buds and great colour on all. Each plant is exactly the type that was pictured. Would reccomend and will be buying again in winter.
Never again
Never again. Purchased selection of flowering plants arrived by courier upside down, lavender plants diseased and dying rest of plants not in very good shape but are OK now after week of care. No documentation regarding after care of plants in event of problems or disease. I Did complain and have got now where. Will go to local garden centre or lidl or aldi from now on. Never again!!

Rose on a stick -refund offer made by company
Ordered a Mini Standard Rose and received a stick with half a dozen leaves on it which are covered in Black Spot. This was a gift from our grandchildren to their mum and dad. They are very disappointed with this product and decided not to give to their parents. Will not be using this company again.
Thank you for offering a full refund the order number is :1-422362.

Ripped off & I’m furious. Avoid
Buy from them and say good bye to your money. I first bought 1 blueberry plant which was supposed to be 3-4 yrs old ready to fruit In a 4L pot and cost me over £20. What I received was a small plant no where near ready to fruit in a 3L pot exactly like a Sapling blueberry Plant a bought from someone else for 3.99. I also bought 6 plants and one pear tree. The pear tree is only just surviving the plants are all dead. I contacted them multiple times and have received no communication back. It isn’t acceptable to Be sent black mouldy plants with dead flowers when you have paid them an acceptable price give us what we have paid for. I have been totally ripped off and I am furious. I have taken pictures as proof. The only reason I have been forced to buy online is because I am shielding. Disgraceful company. Avoid them like the plague.
A disappointing experience
I ordered a few plants and a packet of seeds to top up our terrace at the end of April.
The petunias looked poorly on arrival but with some TLC they are doing well.
The other plants arrived as twigs with roots - a Hydrangea and a Blue Potato Solanum rantonnetti which after several months of careful tending have produced a few leaves but still very much resemble twigs.
Our local garden centre was closed at the time due to COVID-19, but I feel it was a false economy to buy online, and would not recommend anyone else do this.
Won’t reply to emails
Made an order for 4 trees. Quick delivery but I they sent the wrong trees! They sent cheap sycamore trees instead of what I ordered. They will not reply to my emails.
