I received superb quality service from this company. After submitting the dimensions online for our 'tall side gate' they drew up a plan of the gate in the archway for approval prior to construction. The gate is exceedingly robust & well built and was delivered packaged up perfectly on a purpose constructed pallet.
Fitting the gate was straightforward.

Not only did Paul and Connor provided a beautiful high quality door for our side garden entrance but were delightful in helping with my endless questions, so far as sending me drawings of what the end product would look like in our property in order to help us decide. I rarely write reviews but felt compelled to do so as we have been so impressed by this company. We found a gate design we liked on the website and then tailored it to our specification. After ordering, we received a follow-up call to check certain details. The gate arrived very well packaged and is excellent quality, far superior to others you can buy online. This is a really professional company that care about their customers and offer a fantastic service. I would most definitely recommend them.

Very pleased with the Johnson Short Composite Driveway gate I have just installed from Gates and Automation Direct, the gate is very well made and should last a lifetime.
The gate was constructed and delivered in a very good time, the communication and aftersales service has also been very good.

I took delivery of a pair of Lincoln Driveway gates last week. They arrived by the date that G&AD advised and in "perfect" condition. I have to say that I'm very pleased with the gates and I've got exacting standards!. The design and detailing are very good. The gates are much heavier than expected which is no doubt testament to their strength and durability :-).

I ordered a large composite double driveway gate and a side gate during this pandemic. During this is unpredictable period the service throughout the order process and post delivery was excellent.

Connor deserves a special mention as a shining example of what great customer is, several companies I know could learn a lot from him.

The whole process from design, order, through to delivery was very professional and well done
The gate and posts when arrived were very well packed and protected
I installed the gate, a side gate, on my own, all I needed to provide were the fixings
The gate design was made specifically to my dimensions so when you build it on line, don't worry you will be sent drawings to agree to and check, I wanted it altering, no problem, made to my measurements perfectly
This meant when installed it fitted perfectly, but has plenty of adjustment to align if the walls are slightly out.
Highly recommend Gates and Automation, if you need a gate, any size, try them first, you will not be disappointed

Gate, posts and automation ordered for supply only. Helped to customise my design and order to exactly what I needed. Some items were missing on the original delivery, missing parts were send out with no hassle as soon as they were notified. Excellent, very personal customer service at a very competitive price. Would strongly recommend.

It is almost a year (28/2/2020) when my gate was installed.I was very impressed with professionalism ,knowledge and polite manners of Tom to explain how the gate works.I love my gate, really solid and smooth operated, no problem since beginning,make me feel secured at last.Definitely worth the money.

When looking for new driveway gates, I was struggling to find a company that inspired me with confidence and not only had many designs to choose from, but were also willing to manufacture precisely what I had in mind, even though it wasn’t currently available from their portfolio.
