Fantastic experience. Really helpful and proactive advice during the initial order and design phase. Due to shortages in wood supply there was a delay on deliver but Connor did an excellent job keeping me informed. When it arrived it was a great experience - carefully packaged and then so easy to install. I was worried about doing it myself but don’t be. It was a perfect fit and the automated release system was easy to connect up. Many thanks indeed.

I ordered gates from Gates & Automation Direct just after the first lockdown, I was really impressed with both the quality of the gates and the helpful communication from one of their employees named Paul. Although the order was slightly delayed due to a backlog with the galvanisers they used, this was because of the pandemic and in no way the fault of Gates and Automation Direct. They did a fantastic job of keeping me informed of the order status and after care for my gates.

Again, I’m really impressed with the build-quality of the gates I received. They are taking pride of place on my driveway and I would be happy to recommend Gates & Automation Direct to anyone.

Fantastic side gate

The gate we ordered was delayed due to Covid this was a little frustrating at the time (however the delays were comuicayed and I was kept well up to seed).

But when the gate arrived it was soon forgotten very high quilty and extremely sturdy. If I ever need another side gate it will be from G&A direct (Big thanks to Conner great communication)

The gate is lovely and much admired. Delivery took a while, probably because of coved, but otherwise service and backup have been excellent

I ordered and then coronavirus struck. So things were a little delayed. But I have to say it was well worth the wait. I’m delighted with it. Substantial. Quality. Great product. This, I expect, will last for YEARS!

From the start of the research process when I started to enquire about gates, the customer service was impeccable. Connor took the time to talk me through the manufacturing steps and explained how to measure everything so that I was confident I had done it correctly. The effort made by Connor and the team was brilliant from start to finish so that I was confident I had made the right choice. He answered every question thoroughly and I would definitely recommend Gates and Automation Direct. It was great how he checked in regularly with updates and kept me informed during the ordering process.

I cannot recommend this company enough. Their customer service was fantastic - particular name check to Connor who kept me updated throughout. He talked me through the whole process of measuring and explaining how they would fit - I had never done it before and was a little nervous. He answered all my idiotic questions and responded very quickly to all enquiries. The gate looks fantastic - so good I am now considering ordering another one for the other side of our courtyard. They took a while to arrive but that was down to Covid and I was updated throughout the process. The delivery was on the day notified and the delivery man was very pleasant and helpful.

Superb gates; flawless service - and always generous with their time. My 4m total width, anthracite grey gates have only been up 6 days and already a pal in the next village has called me up to complain that his wife just drove by and is now insistent that he buys her a set! He stopped complaining when I told him how much mine cost and he's now cracking open his piggy bank. Great value and I recommend Martin and his team most highly. He delivers on his promises. We ordered a gate from these guys after I rebuilt our garden fence. The selection of gates, and finishes, was exactly what I was after. Powder coated, choice of colours and customisable size, plus a much 'heavier' gauge metal than the usual "diy shop" kind.
Took about 5 weeks from ordering for it to be custom built and delivered, and it was worth the wait.
A *superb* gate.
We are extremely hapy with it, and more so with the customer service we received - Connor Pool deserves a particular name check here, as he was very helpful and stepped through process and checked the gate width would fit the gap, explained the adjustment of width (the wiggle-room), everything. I sent him photos of the gap, and he reviewed them and gave them the thumbs up.
All good.
