I bought an excellent camping mat.
Excellent customer service : I returned a large item, in error, to Gaynor Sports.
They were more than kind and helpful returning the item to me straight away refusing any money for postage.

First class service! I had an issue with some boots and was helped out by Elaine in their customer services department. She made the whole process so easy and the issue was resolved.
There are bigger retailers that don't have a clue about customer service, but Gaynors have nailed it!

After searching for new hiking boots, I discovered that Gaynor Sports not only had an amazing selection but also offered more competitive prices than most other high street brands, including those on Amazon.

I placed my order on a Sunday, and the boots arrived by Tuesday. Since they were a bit small, I contacted Meg from their customer service team, who was incredibly helpful. The return process was easy, and I ordered the next size up on Wednesday, which arrived the following day.

The team at Gaynor Sports provided a great selection, competitive pricing, and outstanding customer service. Thank you, Meg and the team!

Bought a North Face jacket in the sale, which was the cheapest anywhere on-line and compared to outlet stores. Delivered within 24 hrs. Excellent product , super price. Great service and communication. Thanks

Seems I'm not the only one complaining about a business that cannot do business. After contacting Gaynor about a coat I've been searching for from one end of the country to the other,Gaynor being the only place that held one in stock in the country I got in contact. The reception i received was very abrupt and i was sternly told we don't take payment over the phone and we won't post out? After explaining the situation ( I live 500 miles away) ,my quest for this jacket and being willing to pay full price for the coat and packaging , I was told due to 'security' this still wasn't possible? I'm intrigued as to what security this breaches being that i could supply instant payment and would happily pay recorded delivery? Ridiculous trade ethics for this day and age and all the basis for a very poor customer experience.
I would like to reply to the response if I may. I checked your website before calling yourselves and the jacket is/was not listed. This is why I phoned your shop directly for assistance.
It was not explained to that the coat would become available on your site or had not yet been listed. I was told you were unable to sell me the product or post out due to 'security' reasons due to it being at a sale price, i spoke to two different representatives, both with the same advice.

My wife ordered a coat and received a pair of size 11 boots instead. They were messaged to let them know and sent a label, with an apology, to return said boots. She was told they didn't have anymore in stock and as soon as they received the coat back, would send it out to her. After no coat and no further communication for 3 weeks, my wife noticed a refund had been made. On enquiring why she hadn't received the coat, she was told "Your Parka was returned to us and opened by a staff member who was not aware of the situation. The parka was returned to stock, bought from the website and dispatched. I am sorry but we had no choice but to issue you a refund as we do not have any more stock."

Terrible way to run a business and avoid at all costs.

P.S. Managed to get it from Amazon in 2 days. for only £7 more!

Bought didriksons online coat at a really good price. Excellent customer service to get the coat to me when I would he in. Delighted with coat and will buy again from here

Ordered an item which was too small, sent it back got Royal Mail tracking but this company say they have not received it!!
Still casing a refund 4 weeks later
I will not be ordering from them again.
Unhappy with the service received and do not recommend this company

Purchased an expensive pair of waterproof trousers. Email received confirmation product dispatched. Payment immediately taken from my account. Few days later I get the briefest of all emails simply stating I will be refunded in up to 5 working days. No explanation beyond that. Very poor customer service. Won't be using again and wouldn't recommend.

Big shop lots of outdoor gear . Very small sizes in alot of the stock. Staff not very helpful and it's very sad as been looking forward to going in here with my partner and get a new gortex jacket and spend a bit of money but the only outdoor shop I have come across that
would not let you take your dog in so one of us had to wait outside with the dog . So sorry you missed out on a sale and took are money elsewhere. All the other outdoor shops in Ambleside were very friendly and welcoming to dogs
. And most of them made a fuss of are dog and gave them a treat. Shame as you are losing out on a lot of customers. As alot of walker have dogs .

I ordered a North face ladies coat. The service from this company was spot on. I received my order on time, the product was as expected. Cannot fault them or the product at all.

The team made my Christmas! I placed an order and realised I'd made a mistake, they responded quickly to my email and followed up with a telephone call. Brilliant service, wouldn't hesitate ordering from them again.

Placed an order on the 7th December. Got an email on the 11th December saying my order has been dispatched and have just checked my emails to see any updates to discover my order has been cancelled due to no stock??? OK so, what was dispatched then? Not good enough!!

We researched this store before our visit. We were not disappointed. Absolutely fantastic service, knowledge and help from Jack. Our plan was to begin our search for waterproof jacket here and then compare with other local stores. After much research, ordered a KUHL Burr jacket in a Medium for my husband. He is absolutely delighted with it. Great quality, great fit, great price, great style, speedy delivery.
And best of all, it has FOUR ZIPPED POCKETS!!!!

Good experience, arrived quick, best price I’d found (obviously was cheaper in store without postage but I was too slow deciding!), helpful staff.
