The absurd decision by the GDC needs to…

The absurd decision by the GDC needs to be revoked immediately.
How is this even possible? I was shocked the GDC are preventing Dr Amir’s current and future patients from receiving the care they require. It is a gross misuse of their responsibility and power. How dare they disregard what we as patients have said, throwing out and discrediting our experiences and the patient care we have had with Dr Amir.

Their inability and unwillingness to see a whole picture is exactly the small mindedness that plagues the medical and dental fields. It is only due to Dr Amir, who actually takes his role of caring for patients, sharing his expertise to bring them the best care possible so they can live their complete best life that am I able to say, I am doing exactly that.

I have been a patient of Dr Amir for over 12 years. During this time he has given me some of the most comprehensive care, the most successful outcomes that I have ever received from the dental and medical community. Why? It is because he actually listens, he actually cares, he dares to ask questions, dares to think outside of old and restrictive ideals. He doesn’t just throw up his hands and say, nothing we can do, here are some drugs. The narrow and prejudiced view of the should not impact those who are, through Dr Amir, receiving relief from debilitating pain as well as exemplary dental care. He researches, he looks for solutions, he doesn’t just accept what has been deemed right just because it is easier. When there are advances in equipment, he will be aware of it and bring it into the clinic so we benefit. As so often has been shown in history, boards and committees such as GDC have stood in the way of progression. Rather then stifling Dr Amir and thwarting steps forward for many, why don’t they pay attention to us who are speaking, ask him for guidance from what he has researched and consider applying into dental and medical care what he recommends rather than crushing it. Are they so afraid, so brainwashed, so in league with the pharmaceutical companies they can no longer see there may be alternatives. For myself, I had migraines so severe I was completely debilitated. Unable to function in any way to fully live my life. These migraines had plagued me for years and over time were getting worse in duration and intensity to the point so I was unable to stay in my job. It was by chance, one I remain wholly grateful for, I saw an article in the newspaper outlining Dr Amir’s work. Let me be clear, I had been to gps, medical specialists, chiropractors, massage, acupuncture you name it, I had done every kind of recommended exercise, eaten or not eaten whatever foods were advised, to no avail. I went to each scenario with the same quest and willingness and practical awareness. Do not dare to insult me or any of the other patients for that matter with any reference to placebo effect. I had no bias for any of the treatments, conventional or not that I attempted. I can clearly distinguish between having pain and not! Dr Amir then and now treated my situation with full attention and respect and I know he does this for each of his patients. We are not factory issued but individuals with similar but unique versions of discomfort, pain, disability. With the brace he made for me, the damage done by previous dentists was slowing rectified. The pressure was taken off my spine and to this day I remain without ANY migraines. This is without drugs. This is without surgery. Other specialist were suggesting they break my jaw and reset it but they weren’t sure if it would work. How shockingly invasive and that is considered ok, unquestioned but this not??? I now have a retainer that I wear at night and visit periodically to check everything is to order, adjusting if required. There is no one else who is doing this and it is imperative I continue to receive this expertise. It is also my regular dental care from cleaning to filling to whatever may arise, there is no one else that has the full comprehensive knowledge and perspective that takes into account that our bodies are not split into unrelated parts, we are a fully connected mechanism. Our dental selves are not a separate entity but part of a whole self, what occurs with dental work impacts the rest of us. This is the dentistry I want and Dr Amir provides it. Do not take that from me or his other patients, now or in the future.

Please reinstate Dr Amir

Dr Amir is an amazing dentist. I have been a patient of his for over 30 years, as has my family. I was shocked and devastated to hear of his suspension.

I very much doubt his patients were consulted. In fact, this decision seems to have ignored or disregarded the experiences and health of his patients. He genuinely cares about his patients and for me has always been able to resolve any dental problem I have had over the years; and they have been significant. He is a leader in new techniques and is always developing his skills and knowledge.

We can only trust that this decision will be reconsidered and Dr Amir is reinstated. I am extremely grateful, as is my family, to have him as our dentist, his skill and expertise has changed the life and health of many.

Please re-instate Dr Amir.

I have been a patient of Mr Amir in london for well over 5 years, having seen several NHS dentists prior to finding Mr Amir. I became aware of him via the evening standard article about his wonderful and innovative jaw alignment treatments (along with his excellent dental work). I presented with a very 'clicky jaw', exhaustion, breathing difficulties, IBS as well as requiring dental treatment. All of this as related to my Jaw alignment and having had very, deep bad fillings prior to seeing Dr Amir.
Dr Amir, was not only, kind, gentle and patient with me (the NHS dentists had left me very fearful of dentists) he also worked with me on my jaw alignment which I saw with my own eyes began to help with all of my issues. It was incredible to see. I am utterly horrified that the GDC have suspended Dr Amir and are ignorantly continuing with this action without properly looking into all of his amazing work and talking to the hundreds of patients that he has helped. There are hundreds of us as witnesses who can provide accounts for our recovery. Please view all the testimonies here regarding Dr Amir and of all the positive reviews from all of his patients. Instead of being afraid of Dr Amirs work, the GDC should be working with him to see the amount of excellent work that could be done if they worked with him. You are denying people valuable treatment that they can not get elsewhere. Hundreds of us can not be put down to a 'placebo effect' I for one know that his treatments have enormously helped me and that is not just 'coincidence'. He is an amazing dentist and it will be a huge loss to you to loose such a brilliantly talented man. Dr Amir is truly innovative and should be applauded for his work and not dismissed and discarded. Please reconsider your decision urgently.

Horrendous, but not unexpected

I have been a patient of Mr Amir, Dental specialist in Putney, for over 35 years. He has looked after my teeth and dental health all those years. I cannot even begin to tell anyone who is prepared to listen, what an incredible dentist he is: indeed my teeth 'speak for themselves' in that I have very healthy, pain free teeth and his work on my teeth - simple fillings through to crowns to bracework and stitching has been exemplary. The idea that the GDC has 'seen fit' to appoint what appears to be a 'Kangaroo Court' to accuse Mr Amir of 'putting the public at risk', when in fact he has done entirely the opposite and key, professional witnesses as well as members of the public in their hundreds (literally) have 'seen fit' to defend Mr Amir against the GDC (note that the patients are not paid my Mr Amir to make positive comments about him, they defend him entirely because of the way he has worked on their teeth and he doesn't work on their teeth for free, so clearly they expect and get an excellent service) - smacks in my view of the endemic situation in some branches of the medical profession where the facts are not seen as relevant when there is the need by the medical profession to attack someone who speaks the truth. Sad times.

Mr Amir Patient for 8 years +

I have been a patient of Mr Amir in london for 8 years having seen several NHS patients and a few private dentists prior to finding Mr Amir. It was a West Midland NHS dentist who recommended me to Mr Amir, having followed his work along with many USA dentists who also adopt this common-sense holistic approach. Has anyone wondered why in the UK we have bad teeth, poor bites positions compared to USA its because we are 20 years behind and still following the outdated methods of pulling out teeth in children attaching a brace pushing them back, narrowing the mouth, airway, compromising the bite function by removing essential teeth. This results in problems later in life. At 35 years old I had neck pain, foot pain, chronic fatigue, I was unable to work and exhausted and I had no idea what was wrong, having seen several dentists not one addressed the bite issues I had, the west midlands dentist recommended I contact Mr Amir as I had a jaw issues which he could not fix. After seeing Mr Amir I discovered I had a cross, a bite a deep bite and many missing teeth and TM. I was unable to breath well, snoring with headaches. Through treatment that is not invasive like pulling teeth out, my life has been transformed, I can breathe better, the second I had the jaw aligner my neck and head relaxed as they placed in their anatomical correct placement. My bite is being corrected, my foot pain went never to return, I no longer have any exhaustion a I can breath as my jaw is encouraged to move forward out of my throat giving more space. Your approach is backwards in the Uk with dentistry and there is a good reason we are behind the USA in jaw alignment, Mr Amir has integrity and is professional I have seen 6 prior dentists who were lacking in knowledge in regards to the jaw alignment.

Fix up GDC

Fix up GDC!

I am writing this in addition to my previous comment. I suffered ill health in March 2019 and honestly thought I was going to die (not the best thought to have as a 21 year old).
Words cannot describe the symptoms that I started to experience out of nowhere. How do you go from being happy and living life to the fullest to feeling like death? Nobody gave me a reason as to why I was having debilitating headaches which caused me to develop anxiety. Not one medical practitioner listened to me and said “it’s all in your head” and wanted me to get worse with strong anti-depressants. Headaches is an understatement. I experienced numbness in my legs, hands, tightness in my chest, severe anxiety and insomnia. I thought I was going crazy. I found dr Amir in May 2019 and I thought God has answered my prayers. Finally someone who was able to explain that jaw misalignment can be the root cause of all these horrible symptoms. Why is it that my normal dentist who I visited in April 2019 was not able to tell me the same?
Before any of my symptoms started I noticed that my jaw on the right would hurt and felt odd. Funnily, when my jaw popped out my symptoms started.
Jaw/body misalignment can 100% cause chronic pain which leads to mental health problems!
Professionals such as dr Amir need not to be silenced! Let’s treat the cause and not the symptoms. Dr Amir is helping patients who were spending a lot more of their money elsewhere with 0 results.
GDC need to reinstate Dr Amir. I am currently out of country and this news has caused me so much distress!

We as a family were devastated to hear…

We as a family were devastated to hear that Dr Amir has been suspended by the General Dental Council because a few ‘leading medical professionals’ do not agree with some of Dr Amir’s medical claims – all of which are published on his dental website with full testimonials from patients. The General Dental Council have chosen to completely disregard the evidence, and testimonials, along with support from hundreds of other patients who are under his care. This is a total and utter disgrace.

I have nothing but complete admiration for Dr Amir. What an incredible man. Thank you for not only being the world’s most amazing dentist and ‘saving my teeth’, you are the most fantastic mentor - a true inspiration to me – who set me up for life. If it wasn’t for us meeting, I have no idea where I would have ended up (having been placed in a children’s home and put on the ‘At Risk’ register for vulnerable children in danger of being abused or offending). I am extremely fortunate to have met you.

Our journey started many years ago. I was 11 years old when I visited Dr Amir’s surgery as an emergency patient suffering the most horrendous toothache. The receptionist told me that I needed my parent’s permission to be seen by Dr Amir. This was a challenge as I had to virtually drag my mother (an alcoholic – who later died from the disease) from a pub in Wandsworth to the surgery to sign the consent forms. I was from a broken home – a completely dysfunctional single parent family. After the consultation and X-rays, Dr Amir explained everything, then performed a two ½ hour surgery that afternoon to remove an imbedded canine tooth that was lying across my upper front incisors. There was a gaping hole big enough for him to put his finger right through my upper jaw and wiggle it on the other side. The canine had been touching the nerves of my front teeth which had become devitalised. Dr. Amir had to root fill and fix post crowns on these teeth. If I had not undergone such careful surgery there is no doubt that I would have had to wear false teeth from age 11. Thereafter, Dr Amir took great care of me. I still have those same caps on my front teeth today – aged 52. Quite simply remarkable, and a testimony to his phenomenal dentistry not only on me but every other patient he treated with their fillings, root fillings and crowns lasting some 40 years now and still going strong.

Over the years, Dr Amir and I become the greatest of friends. So much so, that I consider him the father I never had (I am the same age at his eldest daughter). Dr Amir has always made time to talk to me, guiding me, offering advice where needed, helping and supporting me every step of the way as I navigated through my traumatic teenage years and into young adulthood. He has always been there, giving me praise and motivating me to stay in education, for which I will be eternally grateful. His influence gave me courage in the face of adversity. I went on to have a successful career in media as Head of Entertainment at Capital Radio Group, and subsequently in the charity sector – as CEO of an International Charity for the past five years. Dr Amir walked me down the aisle 26 years’ ago when I married my husband Andrew, and he treats as patients my two boys (now aged 19 & 20 at University). They both adore him. We all adore him.

Dr Amir should be applauded for his immense knowledge and quest to cure patients from the most painful and debilitating illnesses which every other specialist whether in dentistry or medicine has failed to successfully treat. Patients visit him from all over the world. I have met many of them over the years. They have shared their stories about how they have spent vast sums of money seeing expert after expert in various medical fields, but no one has been able to help them – until they met Dr Amir. Their lives have been totally transformed. They can move again, pain free. They can start to live again. Wow – that’s incredible, that’s inspirational. Now is the time for the medical profession to sit up and listen. Now is the time to look and learn. Dr Amir’s interventions can and should revolutionise the medical and dental professions. How fortunate are we.

We know the vast majority of the medical students go into the profession well intended, but as sheep, following tried and tested learning passed down from generation to generation. Whilst this is not to be discredited, as many medical interventions work wonders, there is a subset of patients that are suffering greatly, where ‘normal’ medical interventions are not helping – and in many cases are making matters worse. It is geniuses, like Dr Amir, with the most inquisitive and innovative minds, who have found the real cures with proven results, who are the ones who should be hailed as heroes.

We will not rest until you give Dr Amir a full and unreserved apology.

Dreadful

I am outraged at the dreadful decision of the General Dental Council to suspend Dr Amir. At the time the Pandemic struck last year I had been a patient of Dr Amir’s for a little over twelve months. During that short space of time not only did he manage to cure me from decades of debilitating lower back pain but also dramatically improved my breathing, particularly when sleeping at night. Despite having had to put on hold Dr Amir’s course of treatment because of Covid I remain in much improved health. I had also started some much-needed restorative dental work which I have to say has been excellent.

I Just cannot understand the GDC’s decision regarding Dr Amir’s suspension, to claim that the results of his treatments are just a placebo is nothing short of insulting, not only to Dr Amir but also to the intelligence of the many hundreds of patients who have found much needed improvements to their health as a result of Dr Amir’s outstanding treatment.

Wake up GDC, you cannot continue to ignore the glowing testimonials to Dr Amir’s genius from the very many patients whose interests you are supposedly there to protect.

Dr Amir suspension

I am appalled to hear that Dr M Amir has been suspended by the GDC.
What is wrong with this organisation?
It is well known that TMJ and body asymmetry can manifest in various secondary symptoms and Dr Amir’s attentive and holistic treatments have helped to recover hundreds of his patients. I cannot understand why the GDC is not taking in consideration the HEALTH OF THE PEOPLE depriving us of one of the most skilled dentist in the world.

Dr Amir suspension

I am aghast to hear that the GDC have suspended Dr M Amir, one of the best dentist in the world. In the last decades it became so evident that there is a link between the jaw and many other health conditions by many dentists and the GDC cannot continue to deny Dr Amir’s work.
Dr. Amir’s treatments have the potential to open up new lines of research in both academic and clinical settings.
I think it is just matter of time Dr Amir’s suspension will be lifted.

It is an absolute outrage that the GDC…

It is an absolute outrage that the GDC has suspended Dr Amir from practicing
his dentistry. It so something of a misnomer that in the wider health forum holistic practices are celebrated and deemed essential yet for the GDC that belief is non existent! Many of DR Amirs patients found out about his holistic approach to jaw/skeletal/teeth/breathing/health issues through word of mouth! Because his results spoke volumes to them. We saw how his results had positively impacted others. The holistic approach makes complete sense and has benefited me enormously. Why are western practices so against holistic and person centred approaches. Dr Amir has years of experience that he draws on. He has made positive impacts on people’s lives. He should be reinstated ASAP.

I'm shocked and appalled at the actions…

I'm shocked and appalled at the actions of this "Statutory Regulator" in suspending Dr Amir. It's an absolute disgrace that a person as genuine and brilliant as Dr Amir has been subjected to this ridicule. The question I ask myself and put to the GDC is why is Dr Amir a threat to you, when he has been and continues to be a God send to so many, positively transforming people's lives. How can a man with such knowledge and application of holistic dentistry be treated in this way??. The GDC needs to take a long hard look at itself and root out the evil that resides within. They should be celebrating Dr Amir and encouraging other dentists to emulate him.
It's really very very sad that the GDC, a statutory regulator, acts in such a way which I can only describe as the suppression of a very basic human right - Freedom of Expression! Tara Lyons

General Dental Council please…

General Dental Council please reconsider Amir is groundbreaking
please reconsider, Amir has integrity, observation skills with years of experience, gives time and attention to detail, his focus is on the individual, how he can help them reach their full potential.

This may be an opportunity.....to raise awareness of Amirs groundbreaking approach. Please be open to consider his methods they are gentle.

We write from experience of Amirs innovatetive holistic, individually tailored, person centred orthodontic approach with positive benefits of improved health and personal wellbeing.

My Daughter did not want extractions to straighten her cute overcrowded teeth. However others response to her smile upset her. On completion of her degree she started treatment in Nov 2007 with Amir, He wasn’t sure he could straighten her teeth however following monthly visits her teeth were straight by her MA degree ceremony. The approach is holistic she also previously suffered from asthma and breathed through her mouth, Amir gave her posture, breathing and swallowing instructions,
The positive results speak for themselves she is now regularly complimented on her smile, her breathing and posture have improved resulting in confidence and wellbeing.

We had consulted numerous dentists Years before all either extracted teeth or modified the teeth. thankfully
We read of Amir in Positive Health magazine.

Hopefully this will prompt a review of present Dental procedures, Amir has specialised in helping those who require extra support. Who had given up hope.
.It is now time for change, to treat the person as a whole ...a rethink of standard treatment, with a realisation that our bite impacts our health.
Teeth no longer need to be discarded.

Amirs work is inspiring, continued care is essential for so many, my daughter intends to visits him for Dental care. please reconsider. Amir is her trusted Dentist.

We were very privileged to have Amirs Alternative Dental skill Amir spent so much time and attention on my daughters teeth.
Amir works with the patients body rather than imposing one fit for all.
My daughter had a wip lash injury from School. that caused her neck and back to spasm, as a result she also had pain in her arms and legs. Her Doctor had referred her for NHS hospital outpatient physio with no positive improvement. Other therapies were also consulted. Amir has helped improve strength and lessen the pain.
He is a very special Dentist who communicates directly with his patients, rather than having a receptionist ...patients travel from all over the world for treatment. All speak highly of him. He respects others time and makes full use of the time spent in his surgery.
Appointments took up our whole day because of the travelling as a result sometimes we were seen early and other times we we had to wait for an appliance to be made and adjusted for someone else. Amir always gave his complete attention to the person he was helping, so they left him with the next stage of their treatment completed. The same would apply to us. My daughter had several different appliances made they were very unobtrusive even on the front teeth.
Amir does not overbook his time slots we always felt he had time to listen and deal with any issues.
Please reconsider Amirs work is exceptionally valuable, unique, his contribution to health should be allowed to exist and expand alongside the present mainstream opening up future treatments.
From our observation and experience Amir is a safest Dentist we have known. We would recommend a consultation with Amir as a Dentist for anyone who is suffering health issues.
Please allow Amir to continue his excellent work.

Dr Amir changed mine and my brother's life

I have written on the GDC's Google reviews, it, strangely, is only visible to me however. Nobody else can see what i have written. Dr Amir says that he has had the same complaint from a few others. I'm very dubious as to why this is the case.

Dr Amir changed mine and my brother's life. I think it is despicable how the GDC has treated him.

I discovered Dr Amir in 2015. I was deep in the midst of BDD (Body Dysmorphia Disorder); for those who don’t know about this disorder, It’s a very deeply ingrained insecurity about appearance that has a vice-like grip on your everyday life to such an extent that you feel like you’re a living freak. My ‘insecurity’ was about the shape of my jaw and as such, I’d spent weeks googling ‘misaligned jaw treatment’ this is how I discovered Dr Amir’s practice in Putney. Anyway, with regards to my BDD, that’s gone now and it’s not what I’m here to talk about.

I’m here to talk about learning difficulties and Autism. During my lengthy treatment, I spent many an hour on Dr Amir’s website and was fascinated by the possibilities and what else his treatment could achieve. One testimonial, in particular, stood out, it was about an autistic guy who had learning difficulties. He’d finished Dr Amir’s treatment and had come out the other side of it; more sociable, more empathic, and a fully functioning adult able to run his own business. This testimonial really shocked and resonated with me because I, myself, have an autistic sibling.

My brother was in a terrible way circa 2016/17, he had NUMEROUS problems and numerous strange rituals too. He was unable to get dressed by himself, that job was left to my mother. If his pajama trousers rubbed against his leg the ‘wrong’ way he demanded she starts all over again. He’d scream whenever he was in the toilet claiming he was uncomfortable, he was insistent that he had to be sat ‘perfectly’. In fact, everything had to be ‘perfect'. He went through phases, one month nobody could sit next to him and the next month he was too afraid to sit down full stop. My mum would often cry and to make matters even worse every time she would approach him to talk to him about his problems he wouldn’t talk. Hassan was very hard to get a conversation out of so it was often hard to tell what exactly was wrong with him.

I brought him to Dr Amir in July 2017 a month before he was due to start sixth-form at Bromley college and he was really in a bad way. Dr Amir would often observe his strange stance whereby he would walk around holding his two hands out above his head. When asked why he stood and walked in this peculiar fashion Hassan said ‘to keep the germs away’. Hassan’s venture into college was an exercise in futility and by October 2017 he’d completely dropped out, his teachers were convinced he would need care for the rest of his life. Nevertheless, we kept persevering with Dr Amir’s treatment and his advice. In time the eye bags under his eyes went, his skin began to look a healthier shade of pink, the rituals went away one by one and finally, he was able to go back to school. I was amazed at the results.

Dr Amir had told me from the start of my treatment way back in 2015 that a healthy mind was all about oxygen intake. It’s been 19 or so months since Hassan began his treatment and I was both a keen observer but also sceptical from the start. I always bore in mind EXACTLY how Hassan was at the very BEGINNING of the treatment so I could compare and contrast it to what he is now. And I can definitely say that he’s far more sociable, his vocabulary has increased tenfold, he’s far more empathic then he ever was and he’s definitely a lot smarter too. In fact, contrary to what his teachers believed was possible, he’s now an aspiring chef and will be looking for full-time employment, instead of being a burden on society once his sixth-form is complete. He’s already made major strides by completing work experience at the Green Man community hub as a budding chef.

GDC Treatment of Dr Amir.

GDC Treatment of Dr Amir.

I am deeply shocked and saddened by the disgraceful decision of the GDC to suspend Dr Amir.

Prior to visiting Dr Amir at his practice in Putney I had been suffering for 27 years with Chronic illness and debilitating pain. Having had numerous diagnoses such as CFS & Fibromyalgia & Arthritis (Sjogren’s syndrome), hypermobility and depression I had resigned myself to a life of pain and dependency on ever stronger medication.

I credit Dr Amir with changing my life, within a few days of beginning treatment with Dr Amir I noticed dramatic improvements to my health, the changes his methods have brought about in my breathing were nothing short of miraculous. The changes to my health in the coming months were outstanding and I have been able to reduce my dependency on prescription medication almost entirely.

Due to restrictions during the last year because of Covid my treatment has had to be put on hold. I am sure if it had been able to continue, I would now be completely free of all medication and on the road to full recovery.

Learning that the GDC have now decided to suspend Dr Amir is devastating, not only for myself and all the other patients part way through treatment but all the many hundreds of others who could also benefit from his remarkable treatments.

I like many others call upon the GDC to start listening to the many testimonials of Dr Amir’s patients and reverse this flawed decision, We need Dr Amir, and if we could clone him then we would.

Suspension of Dr Amir

I started seeing Dr Amir (dental surgery on Lower Richmond Road, London) last year after decades of traditional orthodontistry left my teeth and jaws in a state. His methods are based on considerable research and clinical experience and I have been pleased with the results. His suspension is a disgrace that I hope will be rectified soon.

Dr Amirs' Suspension

I am devastated to hear of the suspension of Dr. Amir. Dr. Amir was recommended to me by a friend after my long search for a good orthodontist. I honestly am so pleased that I chanced upon Dr. Amir as he has been the only Dentist that has provided me with beneficial treatments. I have been suffering from my teeth/jaw, I was referred to an NHS orthodontists but they provided no confidence and actual care. Dr. Amir provides genuine care and confidence in his service to his patients-this I testify to wholeheartedly and feel as though this decision will affect many patients like myself who have benefited greatly from his methodology. I am still under his care and throughout this period I have felt and seen physical improvements that benefits me greatly in my day-to-day life. My friends have commented on the remarkable improvements and marveled at Dr. Amirs work. Dr Amir has many patients that have gone through treatments with him and are highly satisfied with his services that he provides. I would vouch for his marvelous methodology and service and would recommend him to my friends. Dr. Amir has clearly helped and changed many people's lives; I am one of them. I am extremely grateful for the work he has done and hope he can help others-like he has helped me.

General Dental Council is a biased…

General Dental Council is a biased organisation. Reinstate dr Amir immediately!
Enough of business, health NOW!

Without dr Amir I would have lost three teeth. Happily I went to consult him, from a foreign country, and he saved my teeth.
I can understand that there might be business jealousy, but we, the patients, are suffering.
My mother made 2000 km in order to be able to get implants. Her dentist extracted the two teeth and said that there will be implants. Unhappily, he said two months later that it is impossible to put implants, no bone, so there will be a bridge.
I brought my Mom to dr Amir, who analyzed, and said he will try. And he did it. A special procedure. We came four times. Meanwhile he also saved my Mom’s eye, as one of the infected canals was reaching the eye nerve.
My daughter came from Sweden, to get help from dr Amir.

Where is your Hippocrates oath, gentlemen?
You have to honour the Hippocrates oath given at the end of your studies and listen to the saved patients, even if they did not fill pockets of other dentists, who first extract, and then look what to do.

Give us back dr Amir!
And do not delete this post....

Reinstate Dr Amir immediately

I am absolutely horrified to hear that Dr Amir has been suspended by the General Dental Council. He is a leader and expert in the field of dentistry that has helped hundreds of chronically ill patients over a long and dedicated career, patients that found no help or relief anywhere else. How is it possible that a doctor with such knowledge, expertise, dedication and care is being prevented from practising? He is undoubtedly the best dentist and orthodontist in the UK and one of the best in the world. The GDC should have dentists going to study with this man and create a university for him. This leads to believing that the GDC is not interested in people's wellbeing at all. They are still practising 'medieval' methods such as pulling out healthy teeth completely unnecessarily and other practices that have an undeniably harmful long term effect on people's health. I was literally crying my eyes out when I heard about this real INJUSTICE. If the NHSE’s intention is to help, heal, and, at least, no cause harm, they MUST reinstate Dr Amir immediately and the GDC needs to be dismantled or at least investigated. It is obvious and clear that this organisation doesn’t have patients' best interests at heart. In the meantime, my family is prevented from continuing treatment with this amazing doctor. The only thing left to do for Dr Amir's patients is to form groups for a class action against the GDC and the maxillofacial surgeon for providing false testimony and acting beyond his expertise and ability.
