I would give this store zero stars if I could. They are a China based scam company. I ordered an item from them, and almost immediately got a bad feeling because I didn’t check out the reviews first. When I did, I knew I had been had. I did read their cancellation policy before ordering, so I knew I had 24 hours to cancel. So within 45 minutes of ordering, I sent them an email cancelling the order. This was all on a Sunday morning. I got a response from GenieMania about 2am Monday morning, acknowledging the cancelation and asking why I had canceled, and if there was anything they could do to change my mind. I replied to them saying the item wasn’t what I thought it was and I would like to cancel the order please. In the next response I received from them, they were saying it was too late to cancel because I had waited too long. What??? I canceled within 45 minutes of a 24 hour window to cancel. Then they said they had already mailed it out, and I would have to mail it back when I got it to receive my money back. I then told them I failed to see how it was my problem that they decided to send out an item after the customer had already canceled the order. Mind you, they claimed to have mailed the item out on the same day I ordered it, so that would mean they ignored their own cancellation policy. Two, it’s on their website that they mail out packages M-F, but they tried to tell me they mailed out my item on a Sunday, and within the 24 hour cancellation window. Meanwhile, during all this exchange I was opening a case with PayPal and my bank. PayPal initially tried to give me the run around. But I loaded them down with so much evidence to back up my claim, that I got my money back. Not sure if the refund was due to my bank or PayPal, but I got all my money back. Stay far, far away from GenieMania. Period!!!

Ordered zipper pulls - they took two months to arrive and were not as advertised. They were supposed to be metal but were super cheap plastic that will not stay attached to the zipper at all!
Have been in touch with customer service SEVERAL times and each time I am told that they are waiting to hear from the warehouse. BOGUS. They are just waiting for me to give up. They have basically stolen money from me. They have not once reached out to update me on any progress. I wish I had read reviews first - obviously not a reputable site. UGH.

Horrible customer service. I asked for a replacement facemask because what they sent was sewed on crooked. Its a big laughing face which you really can't wear when it's crooked. Plus one of the rubber ear adjusters is missing. The company tells me the that the
"warehouse team's reply and was advised that the mask for replacement is just the same with the product you received. We were advised that the mask should fit in properly to the user to see its proper view as per warehouse team".
Ugh...if I try to wear the mask for a straight smile/laugh it is all the way to my ear on one side, and just to the side of my mouth on the other side.
Wish I could give negative stars.
And to think I almost ordered more items than just the mask

I enjoyed the long wait for my fillable paint roller. Hey! Its from China for crying out loud. Be patient and plan well in advance. Cheers.

Ordered two items in April. One item was not as ordered - I ordered a 6 piece luggage set and received a bag. Second item ordered was a lawn trimmer that broke within 2 minutes of first use. Contacted supplier who agreed to send a replacement. After chasing a number of times during the next couple of months as I had not received the luggage set nor the replacement lawn trimmer. In September after still not receiving anything from them, they stated that I had misused the trimmer. They offered a refund if I sent the trimmer and incorrectly shipped bag back to them but at my cost and they must be in the same condition that I had received them - how when the item had broken! I would leave a zero score if I could!

Very poor ethics and I regret purchasing anything from them.

This company is a scam. Saw ad on Pinterest for very cute face masks, it took nearly two months to receive and when they showed up they were nothing as advertised. Pure junk. I wish I found these reviews before I gave them my money.

there's no cero stars... do not buy from this company I should have checked reviews before ordering something from them... i posted my order on july 1st. and it oct 1st. and still is not here. I keep asking about the item or a refund since I don't have the products and all they keep saying is the Order is on track and just sending me the tracking number which last update was back in august... its a scam!

Re: PAINT ROLLER KIT...THIS IS A PIECE OF GARBAGE. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! WHEN YOU TRY TO RETURN IT THEY GIVE YOU SOME RUNAROUND ABOUT NOT BEING USED AND THREATEN YOUR CREDIT RATING THROUGH A THIRD PARTY. HOW CAN YOU TRY IT OUT? DON'T BUY THIS OR ANY OTHER ITEM FROM GENIEMANIA!

My Invoice from Genie Mania said there was shipping insurance. I never received the item and was told by Genie Mania to file a claim with USPS. USPS says there was no insurance purchased on the item ordered and can't file a claim because of that. Also, company leads you to believe they are US located. Genie Mania is NOT located in the US. So I am without the product and have no refund.

This company is a rip off! They showed a very cool circle making device that was adjustable and looked like metal. What you get for $20 is a 5” plastic circle template. When I went back to review what I saw it was in the advertisement hidden in the corner. Returnable, yes you have to pay for the shipping back to CHINA!!!!

They deserve zero stars. They said (after 15 emails and 7 months) I don’t get items or refund bc my package was returned to them! ?? If something is returned to the sender ( bc I moved and I notified them bc it was taking 7 months to get my items!!!), a company would normally refund the money or resend it. Just don’t buy from them. They are immoral and liars....I will keep posting bad reviews for them everyday so people see them and know this is a waste of your hard earned money!!!

I would give a 0% to Genie Mania. I ordered 2 x Peek a Boo bears In May they didn’t arrive until the end of July and then only following several e-mails from me. When they arrived I was very disappointed and would not have paid more than $2 in a store. They also didn’t work so I asked for a return address for a refund. It was only after complaining to PayPal that I got an address and it cost £18 to return them to China. I eventually got a refund but I am out of pocket for the postage. Shoddy goods not suitable for a baby which would not pass trading standards and they don’t publish your review if they don’t like it. Avoid like the plague.

I purchased a gift for my grandson. It was for two years old and up. I thought it was this fun light box from the video. Instead I received a few pieces of card board two pens that did work and instructions in a foreign language I didn't understand. This was not worth the money I paid for it.Do not buy anything from this company

This company shouldn’t be in business. I would have give zero stars. DON’T buy anything from this company. I ordered the nail grinder for my fur baby back in June. It’s been 3 months and I still haven’t received my order. I contacted the company 3 times. They kept saying it’s on its way and to be patient. I checked the tracking this morning and it shows package has now been delivered to a house somewhere in Virginia. I live in California. I contacted them again to get a refund and they say I can’t get a refund because I don’t have the item to send back. I’m so disappointed. I should have read the reviews prior to ordering from site.

Don't ever buy anything from this company. Only after you buy some6do you find out how horrible they are. They take your money and send you nothing. When you contact them they say its coming you need to wait up to 2 months to get it and they refuse to cancel any orders or give you your money back. The company is just a scam!!!!

If I could give a 0 rating I would. This company is a scam just as the other reviews stated. I waited 2 months for my order which is not disclosed on their site. I was sent a cheap item that I did not order. When I emailed customer service they told me it is the item that I ordered. They had a fake picture with a drop down so it defaults to the item not listed. When I asked them to send me the correct item and I'd send back the incorrect one, all of a sudden the item is no longer available from the manufacturer....right. I can go on and on but needless to say they would not pay for shipment back and it's not even worth the effort which is what they are banking on. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM!

Dont ever buy from this company Genie Mania, they will only steal your money and send you something you did not order and thats usually something you can buy at the 99 cent store. They have their checkout page defaulted to something you do not want. Since most people wouldnt think a company would do something that deceitful, they wouldnt think to change one option drop down. Then charge you $50 for something that you can buy locally somewhere for .50 cents. I went to buy an adjustable circle drawing device and they send you a plastic drafting tool that would only cost a dollar anywhere in the world. When you reach out to them, they reply wit a screenshot showing that you didnt change your option to the metal one. Seriously what the hey yo! Its time for a justifiable use of Cancel Culture on Genie Mania.

Biggest scam in the history of scams. Purchased the roller brushes, they sent items that cost .50 to make. EXTRA CHEAP PRODUCTS. The roller brush broke before I finished ONE wall. Then they told me that they don’t accept returns unless it’s UNUSED. I will NEVER buy a thing from them again & I’ll make sure everyone I can reach knows it too!

Do NOT buy. It is complete junk. I found 5 flaws in general appearance including a hole on the roller. The handle is so wobbly I would never try and use this to paint anything and it is a nightmare waiting to happen. I contacted them and they respond about once a week. You have to send it back to China.
Big lesson learned here on being out $50.00
