We are still waiting for a delivery…

We are still waiting for a delivery sent seven days ago from Carmague in France to Ventimiglia in Northern Italy, a three hour drive. The tracking site is useless and phoning just gets you charged for waiting before being told to call back later.
This company should never be used.

Same story as the rest of the reviews…

Same story as the rest of the reviews I have read. Tracking number does not work on their own website or their partner company "getkanga". I ordered something from Best Buy and they said it would be delivered on a specific day. My package has not arrived and I can't receive updates on where it is. Pretty disappointed in Best Buy if this is who they choose to deliver their customers goods.

Another dissatisfied consumer.

Add me to the list of dissatisfied consumers who have been forced to deal with Geodis/GWUI because of an Amazon order. 3PL/Freight Forwarding companies like Geodis and Pitney Bowes are nothing but trouble for consumers and Amazon should cease using them immediately. My expensive Amazon order is currently being mishandled by Geodis and it’s also totally untrackable (their tracking number doesn’t work on their own website). It’s virtually impossible to reach anyone at Geodis unless you spend hours searching on Google for various branch offices which may or may not actually help you. They’ve also been totally unresponsive to my email inquiries. These days, every Amazon order seems to be a roll of the dice in terms of on-time shipping. Pray that Geodis isn’t given your Amazon order after you complete your purchase (you’ll certainly become dissatisfied too).

Belgian bike manufacturer COWBOY.COM…

Belgian bike manufacturer COWBOY.COM definitely chose the wrong logistics-partner. Stating that these are 100% useless is not critical-enough. Lichfield office (01543 443 458/792). Truly disappointing in this day and age. Perhaps the coming BR-exit will force them to improve and become professional / organised. DPD are a God-given transporter if they are to be compared to this muppet-show. SHAMEFUL!!!

If I could give a zero I would

This delivery company Geodis - had 2 parcels of mine from Maisons Du Monde from the 17th August (at least!) with one tracking number (but with a reference number allocated to each parcel) where both parcels didn’t move anywhere for days and days and where I eventually chased Geodis as to why they hadn’t delivered my parcels where they did not respond. Eventually on the 27th August the tracker put them at Lichfield in the UK - where one parcel was listed as missing and the delivery was put as ‘retuned’. Nothing was then done until the end of the August!, where I received one of the two parcels on the 1st September - Where Geodis had put a new label on the parcel (over the original postage label) listing it as parcel one of one! and under their tracking information on their web-site – they had put that the delivery for both parcels was complete! I sent complaint messages to both Maisons DM and Geodis and no one responded!

I then raised a complaint with PayPal for a refund for the 3 undelivered items and subsequently today: the 7th September: the other missing parcel suddenly got delivered! WOW!

I really don’t know why any sane supplier would use Geodis to deliver for them - as they have really bad reviews on-line AND clearly from my experience: they are very unreliable!

If there was an option for zero I would…

If there was an option for zero I would use it. A large item had been sent by a supplier last Wednesday, I was sent a tracking email on the Friday saying the package should arrive between 24 and 96 hours. Tracking system said Package had arrived in Lichfield depot on Monday evening....then nothing, can’t contact them. It’s now Thursday afternoon and the Tracking system has just updated saying Package was delivered on Tuesday at 9.50, I can assure you it wasn’t, I was in the office from 6am and the CCTV clearly shows no delivery all day. Not possible to communicate with them and they have lied about delivery, this has cost me the sale of the product, not that they care...the MD Jamie Cuthbert should care, you are running a dysfunctional company... happy to discuss with you if you can spare the time, COVID is not an excuse for you not fulfilling your obligations.

Update on my previous review.

Update on my previous review.

Despite the on-line tracking stating at one point "Discharged - Tottaly missing", (their spelling of 'totally?'), my item arrived?

I called the sender, Maison du Monde, and they too thought the item had been lost when they checked the tracking, and have dispatched another item.

Geodis, later got back to me to say "item was not lost", they did not explain what the 'totally missing' post on their tracking site actually means.

Item was dropped on the door step and a knock on the door, by the time I got to the door, the driver was back in his truck, not sure whether this is normal service, or a 'covid' response.

So overall room to improve the clarity of their tracking!

Awful company

I received a call from the driver telling me to come downstair from my apartment and pick up my box from the the truck as they only do kerb side deliveries, i explained that i had just had a baby and recovering from a csection i will not be able to lift a 50 kg box from the road to my home. The driver then just drove off with my good. Never experienced such a thing before.

Maison du monde claim that my parcel…

Maison du monde claim that my parcel was delivered. I didn’t receive it. Geodis claim it’s been lost. Maison du monde won’t issue me a refund because Geodis haven’t emailed them despite the fact that the tracking says “totally missing”. Very frustrating that I am out of pocket because of two utterly useless French companies!

Disaster of a company

Every time we shipped our product via Geodis, there were various problems and delays. I'd rather carry the freight myself than deal with them again. Stay away!

Avoid , Avoid,Avoid

Avoid . Please avoid
Having placed a 180 kg order consisting of a dining room table and 8 chairs, I paid 260€ to have it delivered to my condo on the 5th floor.’
The delivery took place the day it was scheduled to be.
But to my greatest surprise and dismay the driver dropped the palet on the middle of the curb in Paris . And when shown the invoice paid with delivery instructions, he refused and started insulting us. Then left
Next tried to contact the company. Good luck- impossible to find any number to contact.
After hours of searching I sent an email to complain. Still waiting for a reply
Contacted the supplier from whom I had bought the goods. He got back quickly to say that Geodis was short of staff and could not provide the service!!!! End of story. Should be getting back the difference in cost between upstairs and downstairs delivery. That is it stay away from Geodis they are S..T.
