Ticket sent differed from advert

Ticket sent differed from the one advertised. Paperwork sent with it also differed. Refund was reused because I didn’t spot it immediately. Had to escalate to PayPal & buy another replacement ticket. Avoid.

We’re a ticket resale website, so we provide a platform for people to sell on their tickets. We don’t own any of the tickets sold through our site, owing to this mistakes can sometimes happen and we ask our buyers to check tickets on receipt to make sure they are as ordered.

I understand that your tickets were delivered in July 2018 but no issue reported until the day before the event in October. Owing to the short time before the event there was little time to resolve your problem and due to time frame since delivery we have to treat the tickets as accepted for use.

Absolutely diabolical.

Absolutely diabolical.
Don't go near them.
Bought rink side tickets for Disney on ice, paid for two weeks ago, I knew I was paying over the odds but wanted a special treat for my daughter.
I've just been contacted by them and they've said the tickets are unavailable.
If I don't get the refund in 7 working days I'll be taking this further.

As we’re a ticket resale website, we provide a secure platform for people to sell on their tickets - we don’t actually own any of the tickets sold online. Regrettably your seller let us know that he was unable to supply your tickets in time.

In the rare cases where this happens we will do everything we can to find you replacements, unfortunately there just weren’t any equivalent tickets available so we refunded you immediately. Refunds can take 3-5 days to show in your account depending on your banks processing times.

Do not buy from Getmein
I bought my tickets for £320 early August for Andrea Bocelli show. Over 3 weeks ago I recieved a dispatch confirmation stating (after emails chasing for my tickets) tickets were on the way and I would receive them on 9/10/18. Took time off work and no tickets came and when I tracked, 'm parcel' had been last scanned at Tamworth depot for despatch and no further activity since. I informed Getmein and requested for an investigation and was told it takes 8 working days and they can only contact UPS after the 8 days. 8 days lapsed and I have been contacting Getmein everyday by email and they are not responding but before were apologising for the inconvenience caused by UPS as if they are independent from fault. I called Getmein on 26/10 and spoke to a Victor who promised to call UPS and he would revert to me but up to now there has been no phone call or email, liars. My show is in 6 days and reading all these reviews and my bad experience with this service already, I wonder what story Getmein are cooking for me or they will continue to ignore my emails and lie to me. All I want is my tickets or a satisfactory answer. I paid (£9) for delivery, Royal Mail does it better for 70p.
Scam service.

Thank you for your feedback and I’m really sorry to hear that your tickets were lost by UPS. We’ve looked into your order and can see when you contacted our call centre, one of our team already raised a tracer with UPS which initiated an investigation on your package.

Unfortunately, we are unable to replace lost tickets as we don't own the tickets and have no direct relationship with the venue, this means we don't have a facility to cancel and reissue tickets.

Generally we allow UPS up to 8 working days to complete their findings but can sometimes be longer, as they are a third party we don't have control over their investigation times. However I've checked your order and can see that a refund was issued to you.

Absolutely crap

Absolutely crap. They stole £100 off me for a ticket, made me pay £6.50 for royal mail special delivery to the buyer with the promise I'd get the money back, and emailed me two weeks after the concert saying I need proof the ticket was valid because the buyer was apparently denied entry. This proof needs to show how many times the barcode was scanned.
Called the website I bought the ticket off and it was confirmed the ticket hadn't even been scanned than night, so clearly the buyer didn't go and is trying to get their money back. I sent written confirmation from the website to GETMEIN and they claim that isn't "good enough proof", even though THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT THEY ASKED FOR, and the ticket website themselves said the booking confirmation (which I already emailed GETMEIN) was all the proof of validity. Now GETMEIN are ignoring my emails asking for clarification on what the hell they want as proof of validity and I am not getting any of that money back, which has clearly gone to that scammer buyer.

That was really convoluted and probably didn't make much sense because I'm so annoyed, but the bottom line - I've had to make about a hundred phone calls to the ticket website that GETMEIN should be doing themselves and been stressed for a week about this ticket, which I've wasted so much time on now to not even get the money. Never buy from them. Their service is terrible, they'll ignore your emails when it inconveniences them, make you do all the extra work yourself when they mess up, and you probably won't even get your money in the end.

If I could give 0 stars, I absolutely would.

I’m sorry to hear of the issue with your tickets Once a sale is made against a listing you have entered into a contract to supply those tickets. Just as we protect you by not allowing the buyer to cancel, in turn we have to protect the buyer by making sure they get what they pay for.

We take any report of a refused entry very seriously and where it's a case that a venue is not being cooperative in supplying documentation we ask you as seller to provide valid proof of ticket validity which may include number of times the tickets were scanned as well as confirmation that these were valid and not cancelled or reissued in any way. Where validity cannot be proven and a refund is offered, the refund amount is applied to the total buyers price which is inclusive of processing fees, delivery and VAT, and these costs are passed on to you in line with the terms of your User Agreement as shown when registering with us.

I’m sorry for any confusion and hope this explains the costs that have been deducted from your payment.

Paid £729.44 for 4 tickets for U2…

Paid £729.44 for 4 tickets for U2 Concert and the tickets did not arrived. Getmein blames UPS and said they are investigating, I should get an update by 02/11! The concert is tomorrow on 24/10!
Unbelievable, really disappointed, is a birthday gift and my daughter travelled back from university specially for this event.
I am the original card holder, it's not difficult to sort that since there will be 4 empty seats while we will be outside waiting for a resolution, just unacceptable.
I suspect that Getmein decided to resell my tickets.

I recently paid £75 for a concert…

I recently paid £75 for a concert ticket for my daughter. When the ticket arrived I notice the £20 price on the ticket. I think this unacceptable and will never use this site or associated site again. And I will ensure that my friends never use these site either😡😡😡

I have not received tickets for a…

I have not received tickets for a concert this coming week which were birthday presents which meant a great deal to the person.

Apparently they’ve already been delivered but they have not, and Get Me In aren’t taking responsibility for the loss but rather blame UPS. They have not provided a tracking number so I cannot track the tickets in order to double check.

The most likely outcome is that we will not be able to go to the concert, for which I had bought the tickets 6 moths ago. It is very disappointing.

Brilliant as long as the seller posts promptly

Brilliant - bought U2 tickets for Saturday gig on Thursday night and they turned up special delivery on Saturday morning.
The service seems to be a reselling platform for people who cannot go, so the customer service is dependent on the seller not GetMeIn.
Only reservation is that it clearly depends on the person selling the tickets to post them promptly and with the right mail service, ours was great.

Getmein were happy to accept our money…

Getmein were happy to accept our money a few weeks prior to the event but then contacted us four days before the concert to say tickets unavailable. Offered us alternative tickets which were not as good but given it was a surprise it left us with little alternative but too accept with a small discount.
Customer service was poor they didn't apologise it was more this is what we have take it or leave it. They said they they only purchase from reputable sellers! They are not reputable don't purchase from them.

I have purchased tickets to the eagles…

I have purchased tickets to the eagles vs jag. game which I leave for in 14 days and I still have not received these tickets! I have tried to contact get me in on two different occasions and no one has answered my email!! I paid 536$ between two tickets and a pretty pricy delivery fee! all I want to do is locate my tickets or receive a refund! I leave the states in 14 days and if they haven't been shipped yet I am afraid they are not going to come in time!!!!

Unfortunately sometimes, as is the case with tickets for NFL games the event organisers can dispatch tickets much closer to the event date and even up until the week of the event. Getmein

Getmein! is an absolute joke. I had trouble with the payment part, for some reason it wasn't going through properly, even with sufficient funds in my bank account. This was on multiple devices, and I used other peoples cards, to no avail. I then saw that the tickets had "gone", so I assumed that was why it didn't work... only to desperately go looking for more tickets later on, to see the same priced, singular ticket online. And so, I went through the process again... and the same thing happened. It's like the ticket wasn't even real, and I refreshed the page multiple times, and it would be gone. I would go back on the site later on, and it would be back. I visited the site one last time today, tried again, and a different price bracket ticket was on, so I thought "maybe this will work". and it didn't. same thing happened again, or so I thought, until I went to "my shows" and it had the concert/order number, and it said "pending", as if it was just going through to my bank. So I called getmein to confirm this, and they said it should be fine and I as good as had the tickets... just checked back, and there's now nothing under my shows/purchases, so my hopes were up for nothing... oh, and that said "ticket" is back on the site! biggest pile of crap for a site I've seen in my life.

Do not buy tickets at getmein.com!

I bought two tickets to my sixteen-year-old sister and her friend to the BTS concert in London venue The O2, on October the 9. at 7 pm. After standing in line for 12 hours, and finally getting to show their ticket they were refused access. The ticket booth needed an original name of the buyer. I talked on the phone with the lady from the ticket booth, and I talked to your customer service just a few minutes before the concert started, to sort this problem. But there was nothing the ticket booth could do about it, other than sell them new tickets. The man I talked on the phone with from your company could not help at the moment, but he directed me further to an E-mail account to complain.

I am from Denmark and so is my sister and her friend who is only 16 years old, they travelled from Denmark to London and payed to stay at a hotel with our farther as supervision during the 3 days’ they went for this concert. I expect when I buy expensive tickets that they are legit, and that they’re not denied at the entrance.

Its is all a very sad situation and it ended up costed us a lot of money and stress. Money neither me or my sister expected to use.

By the way, they didn't get in!!!!

Late Cancellation of Tickets

They cancelled my tickets four days prior to the event due to the seller not sending out the tickets. They couldn't offer a similar ticket and refused to pay for an upgrade for "budgeting" reasons.

In the end, I accepted worse tickets but with a 15% discount.

I wouldn't buy through them again.

Nice and smooth process

I bought the e-tickets to Incubus in Manchester for my boyfriend's birthday two days before the gig. The tickets arrived into my mailbox within half an hour. Nice and smooth process. Not sure how it would've been if I had to wait for the tickets in the post though, after reading the ton of bad reviews!

Worst company I have ever dealt with

Worst company I have ever dealt with. Avoid buying tickets on here. I ordered two concert tickets over a year ago for £300 and they never came. With no communication after purchase, multiple phone calls and emails, with different departments, I have been told there’s nothing they can do. I was told they were marked as dispatched and should have arrived weeks ago, even though on their website it states tickets could arrive up to 48hrs prior to the event. Worst thing is I bought these as a present for my sister and we have been looking forward to it for months. Never again will I use this website!!

BAD EXPERIENCE-Never Again

I purchased tickets for the Eagles/Jaguars game in London 10/28/18 only to be inform that the tickets "MAY" come DAYS before the event but this was after I already purchased them. I have not had any communication about my tickets which have still not arrived yet. The event is less than a month away and I spent thousands of dollars preparing for this trip. GETMEIN seems like its a scam website, lack of communication and should not offer tickets they honestly don't have. Not to mention also paid a $50.00 delivery fee. I just want Help to locate my ticket please as to where I turn to next 😩.

P.S. I could also go for a refund because groupon has the tickets also and they are 100% guarantee.

We know how much you’re looking forward to getting your tickets, but as we’re a ticket resale website we don’t own any of the tickets sold through our site. Because of this we have to allow Sellers time to receive their tickets from their place of purchase, and then dispatch these on to you. This is advised as part of our User Agreement shown when placing an order.

Dispatch often varies between promoters and sometimes, tickets are not dispatched by the event organisers until closer to the event date.
Your seller will post your tickets as soon as they’ve received them - don’t worry we’ll drop you an email to let you know once tickets are on their way to you.

Severe lack of contact and communication. Very dissapointed.

I listed tickets for the Barry Manilow concert 08/09/18 at the O2. The ticket listing expired 04/09/18 and Get Me In contacted me to ask I email their last minute sale department (lms) with the e-tickets so they could be listed for sale until the last minute. I did so 04/09/18. Having checked the website and found the tickets were not listed and there was no response email lms from I contacted Get me In again.

I have sent several emails and made phone calls to the customer service team throughout the week. During these calls I was assured they were recorded and would highly suggest these are listened to. On each occasion I called no assistance was provided other than to advise the lms team did not correspond over the phone nor did the complaints team, only email. Each time I was told by customer service they would escalate this matter with the lms team but there were never any results. On the evening 07/09/18 I called again and spoke with Atina who tried to help me but with no results. I asked to speak with a manager and was advised there was no manager available and they were not in the office. A promise was made a manager would call me morning of 08/09/18 but again there has been no call.

Returning to my conversation with Atina she did speak with the lms team and told me they had no record of receiving any of my emails. If this was the case why was I not told this during the week when I called previously? After confirming I sent the emails to the correct address I agreed to send a further one. Having sent it I called Atina back and she spoke with the lms team and confirmed they had received it and would work on it asap. As I right this complaint there has still be no contact despite Atina's advice once an email was received the lms team responded within 3 hours.

I have now missed the opportunity to sell my tickets through no fault of my own. Responsibility for this lies with your Get Me In due to a severe lack of ownership and responsibility taken to resolve this issue.

I sent the above complaint to the disputes department 08/09/18 however there has again been no response. Hopefully I will hear soon...

Getmein. how poor can the service get??…

I ordered tickets for Barry Manilow for two dedicated Fans for the 6th September at the O2. I received notification from Getmein that the tickets were being dispatched on the 28/8/2018 with the tracking number, I received notification from UPS that the tickets would be delivered on the 29th, all was looking good. Tickets did not arrive on the 29th further mail from UPS that they would be delivered on the 30th, still no tickets. From this point on the whole experience went down hill. On the 31st spoke to my local UPS depot and they confirmed that the package had been scan in but they could not find the tickets, this took them about and hour to do. Spoke to Getmein, I needed to email their customer service, duly done. As I had registered the issue they would start an investigation and would get back to me within 8 working days. I pointed out that the concert was on the 6th September, 8 working days was not going to be good enough as this was the 31st August, I informed them that it had already been confirm to me by UPS that they could not find the package. Even after several phone calls and emails still no urgency by Getmein customer service. Things do get lost what has really makes me mad is poor customer service in trying to things right, there seem no sense of urgency, no concerns about the total customer experience of the service by their Customer services. I can only think that they are handling this situation every day and have become harden to the situation. I read Getmein Fan Guard statement again, so far I have not seen any of that service. I wait to see whether the full refund part happens. Sorry to go on but poor customer service makes me so mad. The 6th has not arrived yet and would like to think that Getmein will live up to their Fan Guard statement, but I have my doubts. If I could mark lower than 1 star I would, minus 3 stars is how they stand at the moment. Come on Getmein rise to the challenge, get tickets to two Manilow Fans in time for them to go to the concert. Show you do care about your customers and it is not just words on a web site.
