I've tried to work with this company to resolve issues. It is my opinion that they are incompetent. So, I am going to be giving hootsuite a try as that has been recommended to me as a healthy alternative to getriver.com. Hope this helps.. These guys are amateurs!

Really wanted to like them, was even okay with spending $99 for less and less work on their part. However, had to drop them when they charged a card that was removed from my account and no longer authorized to be charged.

They store your card information without consent.

Absolute crap. Bunch of incompetent drop kicks.

DO NOT USE RIVER! I cancelled my subscription with them the day it was supposed to start again and they charged me the entire month and refuse to refund me. I understand they have a no refund policy but they are completely aware that they have not done any services for me for the month I purchased them, let alone another month. They just keep saying, no refund policy.
A no refund policy for them is more like a we can keep your money for no services rendered. I do not condone any company that handles their business by keeping peoples money for doing absolutely nothing for them. I do not recommend them, they are a total scam!

There are many Instagram growth services that offer bot likes. River is probably the only service that engages with real accounts. I had issues with logins from several locations in the world, that was solved as River team is global and works remotely.

I have tried Mass Planner, Social envy, Instabot, etc. All bot services delievered results, but River is operated by real Instagram experts. The results I have received during my 7 days trial are unmatchable to any service I have tried before.

Instagram management and growth is time-consuming. River team offers a great service at $99 per month. Saves so much time, and delivers great results!

I have tried other Instagram growth agencies but didn't see any positive results. I got 7 days of free River trial and I already see positive traction.

The worst. Was happy until 3 weeks ago, but then I started having to authorize my instagram account every 3-5 minutes. The customer service is horrible and they just send cut and paste answers. Will be canceling all my accounts with them.

River helped with my Instagram engagement. I got engagement from real people in the first 7-day free trial and that's what made me buy their package. Their support team is the best as they answer questions within few minutes and take good care of us.

Total spam!!! I cannot even make thme stop sending email, no one answers! Stay away from them.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! You are better of buying fake followers and manually adding fake likes to your account, because with these guys you're going to do all of it manually anyways. One of the WORST scams in the industry! Their system requires constant manual adjusting by customers, even though they advertise as an automated service that they run for you. Total scam! Your account will NEVER work properly and their support team can't really resolve any serious issues, they just send you bogus copy-paste answers or are straight up rude.

More so, during the months that I used them, these guys had technical issues 90% of the time. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!

P.S. The answer below by "Asia" is a perfect example of the amount of BS they spin on daily basis.

After multiple requests that they stop emailing me, they still keep spamming me. No response from anyone in their company. The actual experience of doing a test with them did not go well either. They ended up following inappropriate accounts and accounts not in my niche. Overall, I would not recommend this service, unfortunately. The need for this type of service is there, so I hope they fix their problems and improve the service.

SCAM SCAM!! Do not purchase river. They will keep billing you even after you cancel the account. DO NOT FALL INTO THEIR TRAP

I don´t know why there are many bad revisions here... The truth is that I love this tool. If you´re not a notable digital influencer definitely your account won´t get likes/followers! Work hard in your content creation that River will work ;)

They tell you to select hashtags for them to like.. and then they go and like other stuff that has nothing to do with what you added. Haven't had any increase in likes or followers. Rubbish! Save your money and look for another company, these guys are useless

Do NOT trust their service. First, it doesn't work. They like pictures on your behalf that honestly are very porn like stuff. Even when I cancelled my subscription and sent out many emails to cancel my subscription, they kept charging me!!! I had to call my bank and pay extra $30 to stop the payments. They have been harassing me by sending more than 10 emails per day. I blocked all their email addresses.

Where do I even begin….. I was an absolute fool to think that I would be able to get a service like this! At first I thought, great, an actual helper that will be able to assist with my growth properly so I can focus on other parts of my career.
Though after months of using their service I finally noticed a few months ago what they've actually done and that their service has:
+Caused my comments to fluctuate because of their sudden ‘comment’ function that they added a few months ago and then removed.
+My likes have dropped from the 1,000’s to just below hundreds because the accounts that they follow are duds - I am now stuck with 'ghost followers' on my account and having to sift through them all.
+They keep following porn sites, rap artists, quote pages and their own staff to boost their own numbers (something that you don't spot until they pop up on your feed!).
+They followed countless accounts maxing my account out every time, and not even unfollowing all of the accounts that they had followed before the month is up, even though I SPECIFICALLY emailed them about this issue a few months in a row and was told ‘yes, they will all be unfollowed and I would be back to the original amount of 3,500 by the time the month is up’. Bull. You will stay maxed out.
+Every month I have had to ask for my invoice, (which should, by law, be sent out straight after payment has been made!) and no matter how many months I have emailed regarding this issue, I still have to wait for weeks before it is even sent out, and beforehand I get asked if I want a receipt instead - No, I don't want a receipt, I run a business, I need an INVOICE.
+Their customer service is absolutely shocking as you get passed from pillar to post with the most robotic and unhelpful answers, not one single person deals with your complaint instead you get 3-5 - they may as well be Facebook, Twitter or Instagram bots!

I am absolutely furious at myself for being so naive that even though I have had these issues with them for so long, I still allowed myself to be ripped off by this ‘service’ they apparently offer.

It is a scam, and I highly suggest that you DON'T even go anywhere near getriver or their sister sites connected to Colibri IO!

It's a scam. Stay away! They'll only get you fake followers and the price is way too high for that and on top of that they'll spam you with their emails. It's so annoying and very unprofessional. I don't even now why they took money from my credit card but I cancelled it right away after 2 minutes after it happened and wanted to get my money back but they told me they don't do that. Of course! I said just give me a discount code so someone else can use is or I can use it a different time or whatever but they said no they don't do that. That shows how unprofessional they are
