Well, I wish I had checked out there reviews before I stupidly signed up for there 7Day free trial.
The site was impossible to navigate, couldn’t download anything .
Spoke to customer support and asked how to cancel, cancelled the free trial on day 3. Yesterday I found that they had deducted $90.50 (Australian) from my account. Contacted them by phone , refused to cancel my membership, emailed same result.

Was making some money by uploading pics, then suddenly cannot upload anymore, no customer service at all, they keep updating facebook, but there is no one reply you there.

I sold photos by iStockPhoto which was later acquired by GettyImages , they keep selling my photos but I have no way to login to that new website, they create all kind of confusing redirects from one website to another, I had to open tickets in order to be able to login, now I see partial stats on that author panel, but no way to see my uploads, sales, etc, while they keep selling my photos.

Go somewhere else for photos. Look around they have horrible reviews everywhere. They have good photos but horrible policies. Notice how they do not claim their Trustpilot profile.

You cannot downgrade only cancel. Then you pay a fee, then sign up again. Make $116 and get someone who hates or you or make $29/mo for years after. Just does not make sense.

Make sure you cancel way before your next payment is due, because they will take that payment and then still wont let you access your account, even though you paid.

Getty Images has nice photos, and a great website. However I didn't see the information in the content license agreement of the United States Postal Service trademark. Thank you.

I ordered a print from Photos by Getty... I did not receive it and customer service is not answering to my emails...

A terrible place to sell your work. The level of communication and respect to artists is just dire.

Plenty of other places that are willing to give you pennies for your efforts. Go there instead

Getty has stolen a photography made by me back in 2015. I have sent them a take down notice and they have answered that "both photos are not identical so they can do with the picture whatever they want". The photo has just been cropped by someone else, but it is MY photo. It has also credited to another person, not me.

It is not allowed to post links here, but I can show the evidences to anyone who requests them.

Terrible experience for stock contributors. The epitome of a giant corporate pig sucking the life out of the little man.

There are so many problems with their platform (least of all the 18% royalty rates or whatever it is), and it's impossible to talk to a staff member about any of it. I've submitted numerous complaints and questions over the last few months, not once getting a response. They simply DO NOT CARE.

There are plenty of other platforms who will pay you fractions of a dollar for your work. Go there instead.

No Subscription Cancellation Fraud - Once subscribed, there are NO options via their website to unsubscribe, and only through extensive Google searches (as 'istock' images OF cancellation get all the top search spots) can you find out that the only way to unsubscribe is via telephone - but their call centre was 'closed'. I have been trying to cancel for 2 weeks - several direct messages / emails and attempts to call, no human contactable nor can I unsubscribe. They persist however in trying to charge my card for a subscription that would have been canceled weeks ago should there be a cancellation option. They are a Canadian company - how is this legal?

This company is ripping people off I wanted a wreath for a friend's funeral they never sent me a thing I asked for full refund never even got back wish there office was near me to call in anyone thinking of using them DO NOT you,ll be ripped off like rest

They have one of the worst customer services! I paid around $200 for a subscription and contacted the customer service before I even purchased to make sure I knew how it worked. A week later I canceled the subscription but expected the credits that I still hadn’t used to remain because it said so in the website.

They removed all my credits and told me that they would only be saved if I bought credits directly and not through subscription. Why did you not tell me this when I asked you? David who responds at customer service through mail refused to solve it either by a refund for the amount I didn’t get to use or restore my credits which I hadn’t used (which were more than half!).It’s a disgrace how they misinformed me then refused any solution.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Wish I could give negative star review! They charged my credit card twice and after 4 phone calls and two weeks time they have yet to credit my account. Keep getting the same response "we are sorry someone should get back to you in 24 to 48 hours". Well that was two weeks ago and still no resolve. One of the customer service reps said "this has been happening quite a bit lately". REALLY, that is your answer!

Getty Images refuses to respond to a request. It seems almost every photo someone posts on the internet suddenly has Getty Images credit on it. I call Bull. I posted a series of nature photos I took of a Conservation Park and posted them on TripAdvisor . NOW they have Getty credit. How many photos online have they actually paid for and how many have they stolen? Or taken credit for?

We purchased 1 image for $499.

We clicked purchase. Nothing happened.
We were then billed $499.

When we contacted customer service we were told it would take some time to resolve. Approximately 1 week later we received a refund.

We went back to their site and clicked purchase again for the same image. This time we were charged TWICE for 1 image.

Almost a month and several emails later... still no refund. We contacted our credit card company who thankfully was able to overturn the charges.

I would strongly recommend that you do NOT use Getty Images for any of your needs.
