Sending the gift card was simple. I appreciate that. As long as it reaches the designated person, I will be good!

I have purchased 10-15 gift cards/year for the past 10 years or so without a problem. This year, however, one of the gift cards I purchased for $250 had $25 on it when the recipient went to use it. I immediately called customer support who instead of fixing the card said I needed to start the dispute process. This was back in December. I entered the dispute which is handled by Blackhawk Network and have still not had a resolution. They are supposed to get back to you within three weeks- but having received no response, have emailed them every two weeks since with the response being someone will get back to you in 1-2 days which has never happened. I am still waiting----- Buyer beware.
4/17/2026 UPDATE from ck: although Josh below writes that I will be contacted shortly- I was contacted and essentially I have been asked to restart the dispute all over again- i.e. resubmit the dispute form that was sent by giftcards back in December within 10 days and "the process can take between 30 and 90 days". TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. This is just a delay tactic and hope that I go away. BUYER BEWARE

Simple process. I love Mommy, it's her Birthday. The credit card wasn't working for payment, I had to use a backup payment, mindfulness.

My order has been canceled multiple times for no reason, and it has been a huge waste of time. Honestly, buying a gift card in-store would have been much easier. What is even stranger is that my orders were still canceled when I paid through PayPal. If my account were really unauthorized, why would PayPal approve the transaction in the first place?
