Scam. Paid for and never received anything. She refused to answer any of my messages.

I've been a fan of their boots for years and finally was able to splurge on a pair for my wedding in January. I waited and waited and nothing. I emailed and messaged and no response. The Facebook page went quiet and then the website went off line. I've finally filed a transaction dispute. I would have loved a pair of those beautiful boots but the vendor seems to have taken everyone's money and disappeared. So disappointing.

June last year I "won" a £100 voucher to spend on the website. I used that and spent a further £100 of my own money. To this day when I check on my order it says 'Processing' .. I haven emailed her almost every month asking for an update on my order but I have NEVER received a reply.
This is fraud when she continues to take your money with no intentions of fulfilling the order. I will be seeking legal advice on the matter. She should not get away with this!!!!

Terrible company. I bought 500 bucks worth of shoes for Christmas and they never came. The owner ignored my emails and messages. When I started leaving bad reviews on Facebook I was blocked by them. The only reason i got my money back was because i used PayPal. Buyer beware.

First I would like to say I love GD, and own multiple pairs of their awesome boots. Unfortunately my last order was a buy one get one and I guess because I got a great deal 1 of the pair was made of paper thin shiny fake leather. Very disappointing. I contacted the seller through Facebook messenger asking about the odd pair. She told me it was goat leather(lies) because they were running out of the normal leather and not sure when they would get it back in. I explained I did not want this kind of leather and was not made aware of the change to my order, I wanted the normal kind like all my other pairs(thick, durable). I let her know I wanted to exchange the product, return to her, I'd pay the $50 shipping of course, and get a store credit so I could purchase a pair in non goat leather. She checked my message, no response. I asked again if I returned the boots could I get store credit, no response and still hasn't checked the message.
I kept the boots. She would not likely give me a store credit once she received the boots, and she would not guarantee what kind of leather i would receive if i tried to swap out. Now I'm afraid to purchase from them, because I don't know "what's in stock", and I certainly don't want to pay 300 for fake leather boots.

WORST COMPAMY EVER.

IF YOU WANT THEM, LOOK FOR THEM SECOND HAND. YULIA HAS NO CONCEPT OF CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCTS HAS GOT VERY NOTICABLY WORSE WITH EVERH PAIR BOUGHT. SHE SCAMS, LIES AND STEALS FROM CUSTOMERS AND WILL HAPPILY VERBALLY ASSAULT. THE DESIGN IS LOVELY BUT THE QUALITY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS PATHETIC AND UNNACEPTABLE FOR THE EXTORTIONATE PRICE.

F.Y.I SHE DOES NOT MAKE THESE HERSELF - THESE ARE CHEAP, MASS-MADE BOOTS THAT SHIP FROM SEVERAL COUNTRIES, COST THE EARTH AND PROBABLY WONT EVEN ARRIVE.

HER CONSTANT 'ILLNESS' IS THE REASON FOR THE INSTANT HALT IN COMMUNICATION ONCE SHE RECIEVES YOUR MONEY. THIS IS EITHER A LOW EXCUSE OR SHE NEEDS TO ASSESS HER PHYSICAL ABILITY IN CONTEXT OF RUNNING GIPSY DHARMA TO A PROPER STANDARD OF TEMPORARILY/PERMANENTLY CLOSING.

ADVICE -
•Buy second hand GDs, people tend to look after them well, it's cheaper and you avoid the nightmare that is the actual company as well as helping out someone who probably got screwed over by GDs ridiculous return policy or lack of communication.
•If you MUST buy from them, use PayPal and DO NOT let Yulia make excuses past the PayPal buyer protection date (I think 90/180 days).
•Measure the soles, as mine were different sizes, although supposed to be the same size. •Don't expect a close colour match.
•Check the leather, 1 of 2 pairs I ordered was fake.

Note: they state they have UK warehouses from which they dispatch orders, however this doesnt mean UK orders come from UK and they will be taken through customs.

Finally - DONT LET HER INTIMIDATE YOU LIKE OTHERS, STAND UP FOR YOURSELF OR YOULL GO HOME EMPTY POCKETED

Let me share a story. Out of the many draws for either a gift card or free boots, I found myself being lucky and getting the 100$ gift card, but I didnt have the money to be able to make use of it, until income tax. So with the money finally available I contacted the company and they were so wonderful in helping my order and even letting me use one of my unused/unclaimed gift vouchers. So now I wear the ever loving soul out of my boots, inside currently cause it's snowy and wet outside, but soon I will be wearing them outside. Super comfortable boots, they came faster than I expected, only down side is customs and duty fees, which I was not prepared for. The boots are made of a thin leather, so it is easy to forget you've got them on, they are that comfortable

I received my order today and was very happy !
My Package came very fast ! Super happy overall . Took a little long to ship out but it’s understandable for being handmade and custom !! I love my boots ! Hope you stay open so I can order more ! Thanks again ! You are truly awesome !

I LOVE THESE BOOTS! Good quality and the soles are true to size. I waited 4 months for them to show up and they did not disappoint! Be mindful if you are ordering custom any size/any color boots like I did, they can take up to 18 weeks to make. It says this on the page but I missed reading it and had a slight panic when they didnt show up right away. Def will order more!

Very disrespectful seller. I waited for over 6 months for 4 pairs of boots I ordered. Asked several times for an update on the status of the item and was always told to be patient. She offered a different kind of less expensive boots that she sold instead. I didn’t pay that much money to not get what I wanted. I only liked a few of her styles in a specific color. She was very grumpy and disrespectful when I told her no, I want what I ordered. Mind you, all that I ordered was marked in stock on her website. Then she claimed that it would take a few more weeks because they’ll have to be made since they were not actually in stock. So I waited and waited. Finally was told 6 MONTHS after my purchase that she could “no longer honor” the “sale” price that I bought them at. That I could pay her over 600 dollars more than what I already paid or accept the cheaper boots that I DID NOT WANT. When I told her that this wouldn’t do, she got extremely upset and was calling me all kinds of names, despite the fact that I was respectful to her and only wanted what she offered and I had bought half a year prior! Beware of this company. She will not honor anything. Don’t trust her sales. She will treat you as a lesser customer if you use any kind of coupon or sale she offers.I finally had to get a refund through PayPal and block this company on Facebook because of her verbal abuse. If you’re not willing to sell at your sale Price, then don’t offer it in the first place!

I ordered recently gipsy dharma has got in touch with me and told me 3 weeks for my order.. I never have a problem with them ever !!! I have over 7 pairs of gipsy boots I’ve been purchasing for 4 years and she is brilliant the company is brilliant the boots are amazing and comfortable. I have outfits from gipsy that she had hand made for me it came with a boot deal I had got !! I love gipsy dharma,

Despite many,many attempts to communicate with this so called company, I’ve only managed to get a response twice and that was to promise that she’d sent them.
Guess what? No boots or updates... Scam city galore!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS BECAUSE TRUST ME, IT WILL COST YOU!

I have known about this company and wanted to buy a pair of boots for a long time so when Yulia announced she was closing down and started a sale at the beginning of December I decided that as it seemed to be now or never I would find the cash and order a pair. All seemed good at first, she was responding to my questions via messenger immediately and being helpful, right up until I placed my order, from the moment my order was placed she has ignored my facebook messages to both her accounts (not even looked at them) and to subsequent emails sent attempting to find out what has happened to my order.

Yulia has now begun posting on her Facebook page again, claiming she has been ill but is missing her 'art' to much to stay away and offering sales and competitions, and because of this many others have been commenting about thier missing orders, poor quality goods and lack of any communication or response from her. Yulia responded to one of my Facebook comments asking me to be patient as she is going through her messages 1 by 1 but even though she has the time to put up multiple sale posts a day she has still not looked at or responded to my messages over a week later and many others are still having the same issues and expressing thier frustration at being ignored on her posts.

I know that many others have had good experiences with this company in the past, including a friend of mine which is why I trusted in placing my order (regrettably with my bank card so no paypal refund for me!), but something has happened in the past year or 2 and loads of people are having problems and basically having thier money stolen! I would massively advise against going anywhere near this company/person now, I really wish I had investigated further and seen some of the comments people had left before I ordered, extremely disappointed and upset about being scammed and fleeced of my hard earned money by her!!!

Got a voucher by email after buying 2 pairs of boots previously. Tried to use my voucher. Boots never arrived. Contacted seller after 30 days. She says up to 3 months but I can have something else. Said I made a preorder but I ordered what was meant to be in stock according to website. I agree to different item. Now 2 months late. Seller still never sent. Told paypal(luckily used paypal not debit card so I am covered). PayPal contact seller. She messages via paypal saying she has finally posted. Nothing arrived. PayPal reimbursed. Seller sent me an insulting email saying how she was ill etc and I was impatient. It was now 3 months since I paid her. I would not recommend to anyone. Boots nice if they arrive but delicate so do not last long for price. Better value with other sellers. Better customer services just about everywhere else!

Gipsy Dharma is an incredibly untrustworthy company.

A few months ago a "won" a voucher (£100 off) and was extremely excited as I had been entering their Facebook competitions for YEARS. Little did I know, everyone on their mailing list had "won" a voucher - if this is not suss to you; it should be - it is shady as hell.

Now, in case you don't know. This company has sales quite a bit and instead of marking down the products on the site the put a code on Facebook and tell you to use it at checkout. Right now it is 50% off. This is a better deal than £100 off and you can only use one code at checkout - so your winning voucher is null and void; completely pointless. This is how she makes sure she doesn't have to honour the winning vouchers. I asked if she would honour them during the sale (with the sale prices) and she said you can only use the one discount (even though she is shutting down and try to get rid of stock). If she cared about the "winners", surely she'd honour their prizes.

When I was so eager to use my voucher - because they are shutting down and "OMG I've been wanting/needing their very expensive boots for years and I can't miss out" I happened to scroll down the Facebook feed. (I haven't been seeing their posts these past few months - which is odd because I used to see them every single day). On most of the posts there were complaints from people demanding their boots or their money - different people on every post. RED FLAG. Suddenly I didn't want to use my voucher.

I then came here and saw even more horrific reviews. Repeat customers with bad experiences. It seems something changed between 2017 and 2018.

I mentioned all the people who are having issues with her.... how it seems fake and fraudlent and she said she has thousands of happy customers. Seems delusional. Is she completely unaware of all these negative reviews? All these unsatisfied customers? She is clearly ignoring all the Facebook posts and all the emails, phone calls, etc...

I'd say - Avoid At All Costs!

I tried to take advantage of a sale where two pairs of boots were each half off. After taking my money, they tried to offer me boots in different colours and styles than what I ordered or else I would have to wait for them to make the ones I actually ordered from scratch. I said, okay, I will wait, I don't want the (in my opinion much less nice) boots they offered me. Weeks go by, no replies to any of my subsequent emails or facebook posts/messages. Months go by, still no boots, no replies. It has been a couple of years now and I spent over $500 Canadian and no boots, no replies, nothing.

Don't fall for their "discounts"; it appears to be a way to get your money, offer you back stock that they can't sell otherwise, and then wait until it is so long since you bought things that you can't go after them easily. However, given how awful they have been, I doubt I would have even received the alternative boots had I said yes to the weird colours and simpler styles offered instead of the black heeled styles I ordered.

I buy a lot of lovely things on the internet from reputable sellers, and I was very interested to receive what appeared to be beautiful and unique boots. Now I know they are just a facebook scam.

Would give zero stars if I could, they have a monthly winner where they give a $100+ off coupon and well I won, paid an extra $100 to get a pair of their lovely boots, I had been a fan of theirs for 8 years!!! Only to be treated with zero response to explain why I have not received my order I've messaged them on every platform, on fb where they seen my message and still nothing!)!! DO NOT SUPPORT THEM!

Purchased boots last week and they showed up today! Shipped very quickly from Indonesia to USA I was really surprised. Great quality after trying on they are my exact size in American boots a 9. Thin leather and the soles are pretty thick I was nervous about that
