this company is another total let down . i ordered 4 may 2010..they took over 180 pounds out of my account . it is now the 2nd of july .i have recieved nothing and no money paid back to my accont as promised. rip off , total rip off .

I order GHD on 7th June for my mums bday on 17th June, Thinking 10 days would be plenty for delivery. They took money 8th June (SURPRISE!!)

I waited for a week - wrote email asking where was it - prompt reply to say will be with you in few days. I though great!

Not so great - mums birthday came mums birthday went - Still NO ghd....wrote another email - reply was some rubbish about courier change - same as someone else on here has mentioned - the funnist part of their email was the part about them asking me to be patient and understanding so the situation!!!!!!!

Yet another email sent on monday this week - 28th June, mentioning fact still not recieved. I asked them if they were going bust and have no intention of sending my goods........no surprise this email hasnt been replyed to.

i've now sent another one tonight - asking for contact now - reply and Full refund - its just taking the pee now, im totally feed up.
If they reply to this is will be a miracle........oh and im still going to contact watchdog about this one...........

nothing less than common thieves...DO NOT BUY FROM THESE CON ARTISTS

1. I'm giving them one star as its not possible to give none.

2. All the positive comments have been from people ordering shampoos etc...hooray for you.

3. For those who of us spending actual money on electricals - it has not been a good experience.

4. Had I seen this site earlier I would have reconsidered using them (even though they were recomended by GHD)

5. The sales office phones rings extensively and then switches to 'busy' signal for hours on end.

6. I will hapiliy bad mouth girlznight.co.uk all day...everyday.


UPDATE:

Finally got through to customer services today who after admitting that something had "gone wrong", kept me on hold for around ten minutes to find out what.

The person I spoke to was extremely polite and helpful and explained that the item appeared to be out of stock and had been for some time. I questioned why then on three separate occasions over the course of 4 weeks I had been told it had been dispatched and should reach me the next day??? He apologised profusely and offered to "throw in some extras".

Now due to be couriered to me by the end of the week.

1 Star remains till I get my goods.


FINAL UPDATE:

1. After "forgetting" to send my goods and therefore "missing" the courrier they offered to deliver the goods next week.

2. Game over. I waited on the phone whilst they refunded my money.

3. NEVER again. waste of time and extremely frustrating.

this company has 1. ignored my emails - note the theme here as per other emails- 2. not returned my cash 3. npt bpthered to follow up the order. One is too high a score and ghd would do well to be totally disassociated with them. I have specific names re girlznight which I will be forwarding to ghd and further if needs be.

I ordered a pair of GHDs on 1st June.....one week went by and no GHDs so I emailed them they said they "recently changed couriers" and my GHDs were dispatched on 2nd June so I waited until the end of week and they said it should be with me any day but I still did not receive my GHDs by 16th June so I got fed up and asked for a refund and they said that was fine they would "Cancel" my order meaning it was never dispatched in the first place. Now I'm waiting for my money back I will let you know if I receive the money.

I wish I'd read the reviews on this website before I ordered with them. What a big mistake and waste of time!

Hi Guys I finally got my refund back today.....yes they took my money out of my account on 3rd June and I got a refund back on 30th July after countless telephone calls and emails.

PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE GHDs FROM GIRLZNIGHT THEY ARE RUBBISH

Order a Tigi tween duo, when it arrived the top of the shampoo was loose and about one quarter of the product had leaked out into the bag. I contacted Girlznight and they imediately sent out a full replacement free of charge. They didnt ask me to return the original item. I think that was a very good response. I cant fault them

With my Mum's birthday coming up, and with her always complaining about her cheap straighteners, my siblings and I decided to club together and purchase a pair of ghd's for her, because we knew she would never buy these off her own bat. After spending a few nights trawling the internet for the most competitive price for the straighteners, and also checking out the cashback deals on them as well, we opted for girlznight.co.uk

girlznight.co.uk is an official online supplier of ghd's, which was an important factor in our decision. Before purchasing I read quite a few reviews of this website, and felt for the most part, despite a few terrible reviews, the company was a well respected efficient, reliable company.
There were various deals offered on ghd straighteners, including those packages that included a free heat mat, or a free brush or thermal spray, and you can then select which suits package and price suits you best. We opted simply for the straighteners and the free heat mat.

I received the ghd irons within 3 days. The item itself was very well packaged with free gift in place and intact. Overall my experience with girlznight has been brill and would use them in the future. Many thanks

I wish I had read this site before using Girlz Night.
I ordered a ghd straightener through girlz night as they were an approved ghd supplier. After 6 WEEKS, i haven't received the goods. I have sent multiple emails requesting a delivery date. I have not been given a specific date and have been given reasons for slow shipping includng the Icelandic volcanoe eruption and that it has been lost in the mail. I have informed by Girlz night that I would receive a "replacement" order 2 weeks ago and that I would have this the week this has not happened.
DO NOT USE Girlz Night.
I will have to now hope the straightener in the next day or try to retrieve my credit from the company - which also sounds like it is a battle. I'm thoroughly disgusted with their lack of service.

UPDATE: 16 June 2010
Following further emails to Girlz Night and ghd UK (who following a number of complaints removed the web site from their approved list.), today, I received the styler and a few other items were included free of charge. They delivered by DHL and did provide me with the tracking number via email.

I ordered ghds from this company and recieved them 3 and a half weeks late after chasing and chasing. To my horror when they did finally arrive the security lablel was slashed and they were faulty. I had to battle for a refund which I finally received after getting ghd involved and threatening Trading Standards. I even had to ask my brother to call on my behalf due to the stress. Do not give this company your money or time- they deserve to be closed down.

I received my goods late and therefore they agreed to credit me the extra delivery charge I'd paid for a 24 hr service. This was back in March and I'm still waiting. They ignored my emails so I complained directly to GHD and then surprisingly I received a phone call from Girlznight appologising and saying I'd get my credit...............well still waiting and its now June. Stay clear of this company - they do not deserve your custom.

Like most reviews on here, i ordered Ghd's and over 2 weeks later i have yet to receive them. I've emailed them numerous times and even called them and got many many excuses!!! my advice keep clear of this webiste!

I am surprised by some of the reviews here as I have been using girlznight for the last 2 years and have never had a problem... I usually get my order within 72 hours and when something has been out of stock they have kept me up to date. Whenever I have phoned them the customer service people have always given me an answer there and then! I love all the products, they always have new and interesting ones as well as my staples like redken... so I would highly recommend them!

If you adore salon shampoos and hair treatments but don’t like paying salon prices to buy them, then this could be a site for you! girlznight sell a range of hair care products at discounted prices. They stock many well known brands such as Tigi, KMS, Fudge, as well as some lesser known luxurious brands such as goldwell. The site is constantly updated; new brands are added including the latest products of Tigi Bedhead. They even sell the hottest ceramic hair irons, yes; you can buy the famous GHD’s here!

Overall, do I recommend this site? Sure I do! With delivery as fast as that, exciting brands in stock and a good customer service how can I stay away? I’ll definitely be ordering through girlznight again

This company is on the official GHD website as a reputable company to purchase GHD's from, therefore, I ordered and paid for some GHD's on 12th May, 3 weeks ago, on chasing the order I received an email telling me something completely different to the person I spoke to in their customer services dept on the same day about my order! Neither were telling the truth! I have not received anything and now am battling to get my money back.

I’m really into internet shopping at the moment, especially shopping for hair & beauty products when I haven't got a lot of time to go to my local shopping centre.

I recently purchased a couple of items from a website called girlznight
When I first went on to the website; I was very impressed with the selection and prices of the items and couldn't wait to give it a try.
The home page displays pictures of the best selling brands for men and women.

Along the top there is a menu of the different departments, so you can choose what items you'd like to browse through. For example, if you clicked haircare shop link there is a choice of brands, shampoos, conditioners, styling products etc. you then click on the one you want and it takes you straight there.

Buying your items
To buy from this website, you have to be registered. You just have to register your name and contact details. You also get a choice to add your billing address as well as a delivery address, if it is different from your billing address. So if you wanted you can add your works address as the delivery address and get the item delivered to you at work, which is very handy.
When you have finished buying you are then taken to the Checkout, where you enter a secure area of the site, so you can enter your card details and address to pay.

You can also phone up to do this if you don't like the thought of entering your card details on the internet. But the site is very secure and I haven't experienced any problems paying on the Internet.
You can pay with any credit/debit card as most of them are accepted.

Delivery and returns

For orders all order within the UK, the standard delivery is FREE, which takes approx.3-4 working days or you can choose next day delivery at a cost of £3.95, which is only available Monday - Thursday.

They also deliver to anywhere in the world. The cost of the postage depends on the weight and where it’s going, but as a rule they say it takes 4-8 working days to deliver to Europe and 8-14 working days to the rest of the world.

Also all deliveries need to be signed for.
You can have a refund or exchange within 14 days of receipt, as long as the goods are unworn and in their original condition. You just fill in the short form on the back of your invoice and send it all back.
Once you have placed your order you will be given an order number so you can track the progress of your order
I love this site. The products are affordable and I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves hair & beauty products.

I contacted the company a week after placing the order. I was told it would be delivered by second class post and to allow a few more days for delivery. I then read the reviews and became quite concerned that the item may not turn up.

The product eventually arrived after ten days, minus the serum, which apparently will follow.

My experience of Girlznight is much the same as all the other negative comments on this page. My order never arrived and after many calls and emails where I was fobbed off with tales of 'lost in post' and 'a change of courier' I cancelled my order. I was promised a full refund and a week later that still hadnt been credited. i contacted my credit card company as this amounts to fraud and they were taking up the case. It is only following this threat I finally got my money back.
Save yourself this hassle and AVOID!

I am constantly using girlznight shop/magazine. To be honest though I mainly use the magazine part, which in my opinion has the best news, views and gossip. Once you have clicked on you can then choose between beauty tips, product reviews, celebrities, accessories etc.

The site is very easy to use and has many bargins. Delivery is accurate and well packaged. I have recently shown this site to my sister and she adores it after a friend of mine recommended it to me. I would love to spend a little more with girlznight but as I dont mind window shopping, I just keep browsing. I have purchased many items and will keep doing in the future.
