I have used Givergy for our charities…
I have used Givergy for our charities gala ball silent auction platform for 3 years and have found it easy to use from both an administration and user perspective. We also used the ticketing feature last year and will be continuing to use this platform for years to come. Our client service manager, Mairhead was fabulous and helped every step of the way! I will continue to use Givergy and I can't wait to see future features they add as they are always improving. Can't recommend enough!
Redeeming nightmare
I’ve purchased a couple of vouchers via a charity silent auction which was exciting and felt I was doing something good for the charity. That’s where the exciting experience ended! Trying to redeem and book through both their online app and via telephone was extremely frustrating and annoying. Customer service is shocking! A gentleman on the phone basically moaned as to why Venice was receiving so much interest when he thought it was an awful place!! Then trying to pin down dates without additional charges or the need for upgrade (baring in mind I paid £1,000 for just one voucher) was unbearable. Will not be buying a voucher from this company again, charity or no charity.

Very good experience
+ We had a very good experience with Givergy for our Charity Gala. The support from Mairhead and the online support team was good, always effective and in time.
+ The website for the Charity which includes ticket selling, auctions, was good and quite easy to design and configure by the Charity team in charge, and it was quite user-friendly.
+ The support from Givergy onsite team during the day of the auctions was very good and eveything went smoothly with no hick-up.
- A couple of unexpected drawbacks though:
1/ During the mass upload of the auction items, such as the impossibility to have the Retail price visible although this field was part of the auction lots mass upload template. This should definitely be part of the development roadmap of Givergy. We had to add this information in the description.
2/ Different fees applied to the ticket selling which generated complicated and manual payout reconciliation.

Our experience was mostly great…
Our experience was mostly great with Givergy. In particular, Elle was ALWAYS speedy in answering queries and gave very easy to understand instructions & support.
On the night itself, I would have liked the Givergy team to arrive a little earlier for their tech set-up; we were in a historic building with pre-known issues with connectivity, and the Givergy team did not communicate well with our venue as far as this. It was a last-minute panic I didn't have time for, and one that wasn't necessary, since we had actually spoken everything through with Givergy - the communications just didn't appear to have been great between themselves!
Overall, Givergy DO offer a great service, but make sure you are clear re: any unusual tech issues BEFORE the event!!

Silent auction review
As a charity, we have worked with Givergy over the past few years using their silent auction platform. For us this has added great value to our events. Not only is the process straightforward from deciding on and adding auction items to the website but the team are always on hand to help if you have any query. Elle Taylor is fantastic at supporting you throughout the whole process. The teams who work at the events are always incredible with our guests and we very much enjoy working with them and hope to continue doing so in the future.

Givergy provided a great service for our fundraising quiz! It's a big event with great prizes and we wanted to run a silent auction in a professional and efficient way. Working with Givergy allowed us to do just that, plus having a technician with us on the evening made all the difference and took the pressure/ stress off this aspect of the event.

Great customer service and efficient responses
The customer service is very efficient, and all questions are always answered with helpful information. The CMS can take some getting used to but once you have the hang of it, it becomes easier to navigate. Their prize draw component allowed us to sell raffle tickets very easily and made our event run smoothly.

First time using Givergy
We have used Givergy twice in the last month for an art auction and a charity ball. This was our first experience and we were pleasantly surprised with how easy the platform was a navigate and how much was raised. We were very happy with the service from Givergy. We have worked together on larger events over the years and have always had a good experience. The crew were professional and knew what they were doing. Before the event there were clear instructions on how to populate the bidding website, and, as I am not technical, if I had a question it was answered quickly and the website pre-planning was painless. Givergy liaised with the venue’s technical department well in advance so there were no technical surprises on the night and everything went without a hitch. We also sourced some of Givergy’s prizes for our silent auction, which all fetched over the minimum bid. The silent auction certainly contributed to the success of the evening. We would use Givergy again.

Great system which is a breeze to use!
The Givergy platform is very easy to use and configure to manage an online auction or prize draw. The content management system is easy to navigate and it is quick to see any changes you have made on your live site - great way to check as you set up the site.
The Givergy support team are incredibly efficient, dealing with queries in a timely manner and the online help guides are a great reference tool.
For your guests, using the the system is very straightforward both on a PC and mobile.
