Our not-for-profit regularly uses the Givergy platform for our annual GALAs, across Australia. I have always found the staff fantastic and extremely helpful. The Givergy platform is easy to navigate and provides some great reporting and customer insights. Highly recommend.
The worst customer support on the planet (and the product sucks too)
I have spent the entire day attempting to contact ANYONE at this company. There are no actual voicemails, one person picked up then hung up on me and wouldn't answer again. My support emails have gone unanswered, there is no one operational in the live chat. I'm convinced this is not a real company. Do not use. Also the interface is clunky, you can't customize much, and it's unreasonably priced for what it is.

We used the Givergy fundraising platform as well as the virtual platform for our first virtual fundraising gala. It was a huge learning curve for me and Givergy was there the entire time with incredible support and patience! The over all experience was excellent, from the beginning planning to the night of the event. Love the online auction, so easy to use and looks very professional. Givergy was outstanding!
Givergy was outstanding at our recent fundraising gala! They were so helpful and the end result was a professional and organized presentation of our auction. They were even able to manage our balloon pop prizes and individual donations, all through their system. I didn't expect that and it was really great. Their reporting at the end also made my job so much easier. I highly recommend Givergy!
Givergy was the right choice our…
Givergy was the right choice our inaugural Bolted event. Ticketing and Silent and live auction features were essential for us to present professionally and attractively to first time guests. I was slow learning the CMS system but was supported at all times of the day and night by local an online advisors that were not only knowledgeable but patient and friendly. I look forward to working with them next year.

Failed to deliver
We were the high bidder in a Givergy auction for a vacation package worth over $4,000. After winning, we were told that we would be able to book within three business days. A month and many emails later, they never delivered, citing only a nebulous communication issue with the hotel as the reason for their failure to deliver. Givergy does not have the items they allow to be auctioned on their site "in-hand" and we were only refunded after the managing director of the charity we meant to support reached out to Givergy leadership and threatened to cancel future events with them. Otherwise, they would have likely stolen their fat commission from the auction taken from the donation to the charity. Disgraceful and I highly encourage charities to look elsewhere for their auction platform to one that will save you and your donors alike a huge headache.
Great service and SO easy to use!
Overall, extremely pleased with the pricing (and reduced, during COVID) and usability. I can understand why all other groups recommend Givergy and I will do the same! As with many other groups, it was our first online auction experience, and actually the most successful one to date. The platform options opened up revenue options that we were not previously considering (pledges, etc.) We will look forward to using Givergy for our future fundraising needs!

This was our first online charity auction ( having completed a number of live ones previously). Givergy were extremely helpful from the get go. Their technology is great, the website is slick they have thought carefully about their product from the perspective of all users ( bidding, donating, staff set up, post event payment) and appear to be making improvements all the time based on feedback. Pricing structure is clear. We were assigned a dedicated individual to talk us through website set up and also our event - they were 'with us' throughout the process, we could go back with questions whenever we liked and they were always answered quickly. No question too noddy ( thanks Emily).They provide a great deal of helpful documentation. You need to work through it , but it does answer your questions. There is also dedicated person on chat to help when you are filling in/editing the various database fields for the website ( even available on weekends answering within minutes). As a charity you do need people on staff who can edit and upload photos, and have a general level of technological/computer acumen to populate the website, but it is pretty intuitive to use with the help of guides. We also have staff who understand and can make films and are au fait with online events which helped us a lot with our final event. The event rehearsal felt quite quick but it was enough. have good equipment for your event and test it. You will need to invest time in makign a good auction website, but the support from Givergy - human an technological is excellent. I am glad we could watch previous events because we could see what worked and what didn't. ERT would definitely recommend Givergy and use them again.

Thanks to Givergy, even in these challenging times, our first ever online auction was a resounding success. As a non-profit, it's wonderful to know that a company exists that is willing to go the extra mile. Their support staff is incredible - they cropped photos (numerous times!), answered questions and sent reminders and tips for success. Givergy kept giving, and so we'll definitely be back next year!

'Buy Now' Sale with brilliant results.
I set up an online Buy Now Sale with 135 items which was a daunting prospect. It was really time-consuming as I used the DIY cost-saving option. I had to learn lots to set up the website and load the items but I had a lot of online support 24/7. It is pretty comprehensive and gets easier to use the more you do. The feedback was amazing on the professional look of the Sale and I would recommend using Givergy. We sold almost all our items over two days and we were really pleased with the income.
