If I only checked Trustpilot earlier... I sent 12 postcards out while in Italy, over a month ago. I posted them in several different Globe Postal App orange mailboxes in the Venice/Milan/Lugano distri... See more

I really do not recommend using this…
I really do not recommend using this service ! Expensive and useless. I bought GPN stamps in Florence not knowing they were not regular post office stamps. The service is really bad, it's been over two weeks and my mail still has not arrived.
The tracker has said the mail is being sorted for over 10 days.
correction to previous review
No, my experience is not great, the tracking system is useless because the status is not actual, but after about 4 weeks cards arrived at their destination delivered by the local postal services. So it's slow, a pain to find the proper postal boxes (mainly in tourist places) etc. I would rate them at 3, but my initial marking was a 1 and thought they would not deliver at all. So I give them a 5 now, combined with my earlier 1, that's a 3. They are not fraudulent or a scam.
Tourist scam - just buy normal stamps! …
Issued these stamps when buying postcards at a small shop/“tabaccheria” in Siena. Tried to use the allocated postbox in an another town but it didn’t exist?! Ended up just buying normal stamps from the post office and sticking them on top. Hopefully they arrive! Seems this is just a tourist scam so pretty frustrating! I would recommend just buying normal stamps!
Two out of nine cards arrived
Two out of nine cards arrived, according to the tracking all cards are still at the hub, so the tracking doesn't work. It is impossible to address complaints at the GPN website. It is pure swindle.
GPS renamed GPN - scamming people further after another name?
Been to Sardinia not long time ago. After buying GPN stamps we didn't sent them immediately because we hadn't have time, and planned to send them in another city in Sardinia. But we couldn't find their mail box (yellow colour) anywhere. So we googled GPN and found out that this company (GPS postal service) is suspcius. Their official internet site is not working. Later being in Cinque Terre, there were selling only GPN stamps, orange mail box. So at the end we haven't send postcards at all, not risking them not to reach their address.
At home I found out that company probably just changed their name from GPS to GPN. So they are scamming people further after another name.
Would give it zero if I could
Would give it zero if I could. Sucked into buying crazy expensive stamps when buying postcards that go nowhere. 3 weeks and still in their way to the sorting hub. Would be better to take home and send from there. Can’t believe this is allowed to continue
Not to be recommended
Not to be recommended. Been back from Italy 2 weeks now and postcards haven't arrived. Disappointing that holiday company doesn't advise you not to use this postal service. Think that's the end of postcards for me, I like postcards to arrive before I get back.
Avoid
Avoid. 5 postcards sent 4 weeks ago. Don't seem to have loved from the mailbox, waiting for pick-up.
Same experience as everyone here
Same experience as everyone here: bought postcards with a stamp, which was not Italian post but this cheaters.
After a month, card did not arrived and tracking shows no movement!!!
Where can we send our complaints to stop this Italian fraud????
Total fraud
Total fraud. Avoid like the plague. You will be lucky if you ever see your postcards again.
I’d have given them no star if I could
I’d have given them no star if I could. A scam company!
Be careful when you buy stamps in many shops in Italy - make sure it’s stamps from the national postal service and not this orange private company!
The advertisement of GPS tracking is rubbish and not working at all! I sent 5 postcards and only 2 postcards arrive! (waited for a month!).
Feeling Duped!
Today I bought 5 stamps at a vendor in Florence. I specifically asked the guy if the stamps are government stamps or a private company and he told me “government” I asked if I could put my postcards ( they were back at the hotel) in any red government mailbox and he replied “yes” it seemed shady but in Canada stamps can be purchased everywhere so I believed him and now feel duped. The post cards are going to my students at school and need them to arrive before school is dismissed for summer break.
Absolutely useless, the whole service is fraud
Absolutely useless app. The delivery took about 2 month. The GPS function is not existent. After arrival of the postcard the website still shows the message: "Your postcard is on the way to the sorting hub!".
From 4 postcards we send from Cinque Terre, Italy to Germany, only 1 postcard arrived.
The whole service is fraud. Postcards get lost, and the advertised "tracking" does not work.
None of the 4 sent postcards reached…
None of the 4 sent postcards reached the destination. They were sent in 2 different locations and according to the tracking number they didn't even reach the sorting hub. Those boxes in the shops did look shady from the first look at them.
Fearfully slow!
Posted in Rome 31st October, 2022; arrived in co. Cork, 21st February, 2023!!
postcard stamps--- so SLOW
We bought 5 postcard stamps in Palermo. Sicily and put our postcards in the little orange mailboxes as instructed by the shop keeper. It took SIX weeks for the postcards to arrive in the US. Just a warning...
Badly misleading
Badly misleading. We got their stamps on Sardinia when we asked the seller for stamps and nobody told us you can only send postcards with them and that you have to find a specific mailbox for it. I wanted to send the letters later and now even if I wanted to send postcards, the closest mailbox is 250 km from me! A waste of money.
If I could give zero or even negative…
If I could give zero or even negative stars I would. What a scam. We unknowingly bought these in Italy along with postcards for our children in September and still no delivery to the UK. I guess they will blame Brexit! I’ll buy proper stamps next time.
All postcards arrived after 2,5 month
All postcards arrived after 2,5 month. If you want to send vacation greetings together with christmas greetings, then send your postcards in october ;-) it took about 4 weeks as the status from "way to the sorting hub" changed to the next level. meanwhile i thought they will never arrive...but at least they did. In Italy all postcards are going first to San Marino and then back to Italy and then to the final destination. Its probably not a scam...it just takes loooooong...
One star is still too much!
One star is still too much!
Take your money and throw it into any fountain, then make your wish. You will receive a better service, than from GPN.
I sent three postcards from Garda ( Italy) to Germany. Not a single card reached the receiver, within 10 weeks since I wrote them.
Only buy stamps from Poste Italiano. It‘s cheapervand more reliable.
