Some advice

If you have bought these stamps then here's how to get the best results. 1. Write your postcard. 2. Take a photo of it. 3. Send the photo to the recipient by whatsapp. 4. Borrow a pair of scissors and cut the postcard into tiny pieces. 5. Scatter in lake.

You may, as I did, buy these stamps, realise they're not real stamps, read some reviews online, see that everyone says they're terrible and you should avoid them, and persuade yourself that probably only people who are unlucky bother to write reviews and it will probably be fine.

It won't.

At least the postcard is delivered…

At least the postcard is delivered after 5 weeks!
First I got the impression that there was something wrong with this company ( Do they really exist???).
Now I know that they exist, but that it can take a very long time before the post is delivered. Maybe it can be useful that people get to know that: it takes away the wrong feelings.

3 weeks later and still on the way to the sorting hub

Bought these stamps and wanted to post them at another souvenir shop than where I bought them. There I was being told I could just drop them off at the post office (in Cortona). I asked twice to be sure if I could with these kind of stamps but she assured me.
Now we are more than 3 weeks later and the status is still on the way to the sorting hub. The destination is within the EU. I really hope the receivers will get the cards one day, but I don't have any trust in this.

Update to my review of 4 October

On 4 October I wrote a review where I complained about the GPS and GPN service, in particular about the tobacco shops which sell stamps in a confusing way for customer. Due to the misleading information I received, I threw postcards with GPN stamps in the yellow postboxes of GPS. I contacted the companies by email and GPN sent a reply, that usually wrongly thrown in postcards are forwarded to the right company. I have to be honest, it really happened. My 8 postcards I posted in Catania have safely arrived at their addressees eventually. Well, it took a long time, approximately 6 weeks, but they arrived at least. Still, I have to warn tourists: watch what stamps you buy and then throw them into the correct postbox, cards with stamps from the Italian Postal Service into the red, from GPS into the yellow, and from GPN into the orange box. Maybe, the delivery is faster, although I cannot provide you with a personal experience. At least, thanks to GPS that they forwarded my GPN postcards to the right hub (although QR code tracking did not work properly).

Do not use

Well, I fell for it too. All my family and friends did not receive their postcards. I found the drop-off box strange already. Even at the touristic bureau they said nothing about this - all normal. Yeah, sure, all normal....they r stupid tourists 🙈.
I will not recommend this service, it's a scam all the way.

Do not use

I would give no stars if I could! Postcards have not arrived (been two months now) and the supposed tracked cards cannot be found. Do not use!

It’s a huge SCAM

It’s a huge SCAM! I bought those stamps in one of the kiosks in Florence, it was announced as post stamps, but it’s not true, those are not post stamps!! Unfortunately after coming back to the hotel I started to read about it, I’ve found the box and sent two postcards from Italy to Poland, this is WITHIN European Union. I tossed it in the box by the end of August, we have mid October now and postcards are still “on the way to the sorting hub”. Honestly I don’t believe they will ever be sent and received.

Do not use GPN - postcards will never arrive

Bought 5 "stamps" in Cinque Terre, the cards never arrived. At least the customer service responded to the complaint. But it did not help to get the postcards to their recipients. Don't buy any stamps of GPN if you want your postcards to arrive.

NEVER AGAIN WITH GPN!!!

Unfortunately I can not give "0" stars!!!
We bought postcards during our vacation in Italy and in the shop of the postcards they sold us the expencive stamps. The argument was, that they do not have other stamps - only from gpn mailbox service.
After we wrote the cards we tried to find the orange gpn mailbox - that was not easy. Only in some shops, which sold the stamps and postcards. But not in every shop. We are waiting since 3 month, but no postcard arrived. The tracking service does not work - it only says, that it is on its way.
I do not think, that they will arrive ever!

Big scammers

I bought 2 times three postcards. 0 of them arrived. I post them 100% in the correct box. This company is a total scam same as all the other italian post companies. Never buy postcards when you are in Italy. They make easy money.

We bought three post cards in Sirmione…

We bought three post cards in Sirmione - price tags on those cards were around 1,5€ and they without asking charged us 3€ for each (if i remember correctly) and additionally gave us post tickets for GPN. At first we were happy for it, wrote letters (and they were beautiful, made with love), slap the ticket on them and threw them into a GPN mail box, but they never arrived, that tracking site doesn't work and we won't see them ever again.
It's sad, and it's really good tourist trap. We didn't expected it.

Undelivered 5 postcards from Sorrento

Terrible , bought stamps from a Sorrento shop and now just wish I had bought the stamps from an Italian post office. GPS stamps are either a scam or completely rubbish as none of my postcards have reached the UK ( plus the one stamp bought in Napoli's airport shop , where sales assistant promised he would post one postcard for me) . Even this one has not arrived.

Also one stamp QR's code still tracks in the sorting hub and it has been over 2 weeks now. A complete con of a postal service

Two weeks has passed

Two weeks has passed. Send 5 cards from Italy. Still cards are on their way to sortung hub. Maybe it’s located in South Africa. Ridiculous.
(Update: Cards arrive about 5 month after sending. Better late than ever.)

Not recommended

Edit 19.09.2022: 2/5 postcards arrived last week. The date stamp said 30.08.2022. So the postcards laid around for about 5 weeks before they were shipped somewhere...

More expensive than Poste Italiane.
Way more unreliable than poste italiane.
Sent 5 postcards from Italy to Germany mid-july 2022. None of them has arrived yet, unlike the 3 postcards i sent with another company. They arrived about 1 week after i threw them into The postbox.
Tracking impossible "due to technical reasons".

Never again would i send postcards with this company...
