A truly amazing experience. Had the best time:)

My experience with Go-to-co was second to none. Go- to-co provided an fantastic opportunity not only to learn about a new culture, job role but more about myself and my own abilities. This experience gave me the opportunity to immerse myself in a different culture whilst working like a local and using my skills in a different role. It is extremely well organised and you can have the confidence that you will have the best time.

Amazing experince with the Gotoco team in Thailand, a life changing experience that i will always remember and benefit from. I found teaching the children and Thai teachers extremely rewarding. This experince helped me to step out my comfort zone which has helped foster my growth tenfolds. And i met some brilliant people and life long friends along the way 😊

I really enjoyed the experience it allowed me to take in a new culture and meet some really great people who il be friends with for life. I enjoyed teaching and stepping out of my comfort zone and I feel this is something I will pursue as a career at some point. would recommend the programme as it's great opportunity to test yourself and meet like minded people. The programme also connects you with incredible locals who have come to be some of the most inspiring people I've met.I believe the programme has allowed me to nurture and develop on skills that will make me more employable in terms of teaching experience and I feel the programme has given me the confidence to jump into TEFL

The whole experience has been both magical and inspiring, I have returned with renewed vigour and a rekindled passion for educating. From cultural experiences to teaching English as a foreign language the team made it fun, challenging (in the right way) and perception altering. I would recommend without doubt to anyone!! Photos don't do the programme justice, the sense of accomplishment in completing this programme is truly epic.

I participated in a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) programme, with Gotoco TEFL Adventures I really enjoyed the aspect of learning in a group environment, meeting people of different ages that you would normally never mix with in every day life it gave me a good perspective of life experiences and how to navigate the next couple years and understand everything comes in stages.

would definitely recommend to anyone interested even if teaching is not something you think that you are interested in pursuing. I went to Thailand for 2 weeks and had the best time, the hotels we stayed in were all nice, got to taste lots of traditional Thai meals that I probably wouldn't have and had lots of fun teaching the kids. Morgan and Emma were both very friendly and helpful, they organised us lots of visits to temples in our free time and arranged all our meals out so we didn't have to worry I am very grateful I was given the opportunity to take this trip.

Had an amazing time with Gotoco in Vietnam. I got to experience so many things - teaching small children and uni classes, visits to historic sites, getting to know local people, cookery classes and incredible food. If you've never taken part in a programme like this or taught before, I really recommend this as a starting point - you can experience many different types of school classes, travel in a safe way and meet really great people. Special shout out to our coordinators Hayley and Leyu - nothing was too much trouble for them and they were just brilliant!

But this review is needed, from start to finish I could not thank the company or the coordinators ENOUGH for everything they have done, As a person that struggles to adjust quickly and never step out my comfort zone I can safety say this was the best experience in my whole entire life, learning new cultures and a whole new way of life, I would go back and do it a million times over!

I had a fantastic experience with Gotoco in Vietnam. The programme gave me the opportunity to immerse myself in the local culture while contributing in a meaningful way. I met people from different backgrounds, explored parts of Vietnam I might never have visited otherwise, and gained a much deeper understanding of daily life in the country.

The support from the organisers was helpful throughout the experience, and the balance between volunteering, cultural exchange and personal travel worked well for me. living and working alongside local communities made the experience fell authentic rather than just being a tourist.

One of the highlights was the friendship i made with both local people and other volunteers. the experience helped me build confidence, develop new skills and create memories that will stay with me for a long time.

I had an incredible experience travelling to Thailand with Gotoco and couldn’t recommend them more highly. From start to finish, everything was so well organised—it really took the stress out of travelling.
The team were always on hand to support and guide me, which made a huge difference, especially being in a new country. They handled everything from travel arrangements to accommodation and food seamlessly, allowing me to fully focus on enjoying the experience. As a vegetarian, I was particularly impressed with how well they catered for my dietary needs—this was done thoughtfully and without any issues at all.
The work itself was genuinely rewarding and gave me a real sense of purpose during the trip. Alongside that, the organised activities were fun and gave us a great chance to explore and bond as a group. The people I met made the experience even more special—we had a great mix of personalities, and I built connections that made the trip even more memorable.
Overall, Gotoco created an experience that was not only enjoyable but also meaningful and well-supported from beginning to end. I would absolutely travel with them again!

I completed my teaching experience abroad through Gotoco incuding touring scheme and it was genuinely life-changing. What sets Gotoco apart is that it is one of the few programmes that is uniquely well-funded, making international teaching accessible in a way that other providers simply don’t offer.

The support throughout was excellent, from placement preparation to cultural immersion, and the experience of teaching young children English abroad was both rewarding and professionally invaluable. I came back with real classroom confidence, a TEFL qualification in progress, and memories that will last a lifetime.

My favourite part was the teaching, I was anxious on the first day, but that went by the second day. I thought I would be totally out of my depth but the support from Gotoco was amazing and I was well prepared which gave me more confidence. When working with the teachers on our last teaching day I expected this to be the hardest lesson, but I did a lot more planning and had lots of back-up ideas depending on the teachers language ability and this one went really successfully, which goes to show how vital it is to plan lessons in advance. The students were fantastic and it was a real pleasure supporting them in their learning and it helped me to understand teaching a foreign language and give me some more scope to understanding the TEFL training and actually putting it into practice.
We stayed in quite a small town which was in a rural area and it was not set up for tourists, in that there were few restaurants, no souvenirs and English signage, which made it really nice and a truly authentic taste of what life was like for local residents. I have not really experienced anything like this within my travels as most holiday destinations are geared up towards tourism. We got quite a lot of attention from the locals as they were not used to tourists which was interesting. Eating, going out and shopping like the locals was a fun experience, the food is amazing and I ate everything and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. I have eaten in Thai restaurants before, but this authentic food from markets and in local restaurants and food establishments was a genuine experience of local food as apposed to English-Thai takeaway food.
I had an amazing time on excursions in Ayutthaya, Utahi Thani and Bangkok, organised by our group leaders and also some things I had organised myself. Every experience was something new and there are plenty of things to experience, from food and markets, to modes of transport and temples galore. We also had a boat trip and a morning where we hired bicycles which were things that I didn't know were factored in to our stay. I was amazed by the temples, each very individual and unique, I was in aw when entering some of the beautiful buildings and shocked by the size of the Buddha. The people take really good care of the temples, both old ruins and more modern temples and you can see people are proud to have these vast monuments and respect them and utilize them. It was nice to see Thai tourists as well as non-Thai tourists enjoying these splendors and taking time to appreciate their history and significance to local people.
I really enjoyed our brief but fun-filled time in Bangkok, so I had the opportunity to experience a quiet culture in Uthai Thani and well as the hustle bustle of busy Bangkok for our final days in the midst of the city in China Town. Once again, our group leaders used their experience and knowledge to pick and recommend delightful eateries and gave us the best opportunities to explore together as a group and well as individually to make the most of our time. I really enjoyed every minute of my time in Thailand, it was more than I could have ever expected.

I had a wonderful experience with Gotoco in Thailand. The programme provided excellent TEFL training, practical teaching experience and the opportunity to immerse myself in Thai culture.

Before joining, I was nervous about teaching, but the support from the trainers and staff helped me gain confidence quickly. Teaching local students was the highlight of the programme and gave me valuable real-world classroom experience.

I met amazing people from different countries, learned new skills and created memories that will stay with me for a lifetime. The 120-hour TEFL certification and hands-on teaching practice have been a great addition to my CV and future career opportunities.

I would highly recommend this programme because it provides a unique opportunity to develop both personally and professionally while making a meaningful impact. The combination of teaching, cultural immersion, and working alongside people from different backgrounds creates an experience that is both rewarding and memorable.

The programme also demonstrated that I am willing to step outside my comfort zone, take on new challenges, and work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds. As someone currently working as a Health Advisor for the London Ambulance Service and aspiring to study Diagnostic Radiography, I feel this experience has strengthened both my personal development and my future career prospects.

The staff are fantastic; Morgan, Aaron, George, and Leyu have all been incredibly welcoming and supportive. You can genuinely tell they love what they do and I can’t thank them enough for going above and beyond to help me and the other students.

The other students also been amazing, creating a warm, friendly, and supportive atmosphere from day one, especially Max!

The programme has been very well planned so far and I’ve already learned so much about Thailand. I’m looking forward to the teaching sessions starting on Tuesday and will be sure to share more of my experience as the programme continues

Time flew 💨 so quickly! I’m quite gutted because I really enjoyed my stay there and now feel “home sick!”

Teaching was absolutely freaking amazing!!!
I probably enjoyed it more than the kids hahah 🤪 the kids did enjoy it too 😁

The kids and staff were a ⭐ you can tell the Thai teachers had passion for teaching.

Some improvements:
- Allow more Muslims to join in each cohort
- provide more opportunities for halal food
- Improve communication and time management.
