My two kids did they Tree Top Challenge. It says it takes between 2hrs to 3hrs. It was done under 90 minutes. It also says it has 5 sites to do. The first one is not a site it's part of the safety briefing showing you how to use the gear. After booking fees (and excluding parking at Bedgbury) comes to £43pp which is terrible value for money for less than 90 minutes course.
We went to the Cannock site today, despite it being wet and cold, we had an amazing time! Would 100% recommend this to anyone who is up for a laugh, not afraid to get muddy and up for an adventure!
Aaron, our instructor, was fantastic! Did a great safety briefing, made it fun and can tell he loves his job!
Brought two tickets and had to reschedule. We were given a voucher for the cost and the attendant told us it would be valid for a year. We finally wanted to use it around 9 months later and was told it was valid for 6 months instead. Due to the misinformation given to us by their incapable staff we have now lost out on just under £100. The representative we spoke to over the phone didn’t care and was quite dismissive over the phone. We’ve never been and we definitely will not be going due to how they’ve treated us.
Vistited go ape ( Sherwood pines ) today, just me and my husband o for our wedding anniversary and took part in the treetop challenge. It was great fun and the staff member who was with us was called honey and she was great - very friendly
Enjoyed the experience thoroughly. However, at one point I didn’t stick one of the landings as my shoe fell off and needed assistance. So I was helped back onto the platform by one of the female employees, afterwards a ginger-haired male employee from down below said “Hey, problem man… what’s your name?” I asked him why and eventually gave him my first name. He then asked my last name to which I again asked why and did not tell me. I was left confused and later on saw him on the plummet, where he further gave me attitude because I didn’t understand the safety procedures he was explaining to me. My group didn’t experience any attitude from him apart from me which was quite frankly strange and made things awkward. I don’t know why he needed my name even still… especially my last name.
Kind Regards,
“Problem Man” aka Ash
We had an amazing time at Go Ape (High Lodge) for our company’s 20th anniversary celebration. The Treetop Challenge was a real highlight – tough but so much fun, and everyone felt safe and supported by the staff throughout. The Segwaying was a great way to explore the forest and added something different to the day.
The whole experience was well organised, and the team made sure we all had a fantastic time. It was a great day of adventure and bonding – perfect for a corporate event. Highly recommend Go Ape for a memorable day out!
I’m extremely disappointed with an experience I had with you earlier today at Blackburn.
The adventure started with over 30minutes delay, so we’ve been waiting for 45min + considering that we were there 15min in advance as recommended. The place was very mismanaged and clearly understaffed, with none providing any sort of service or information during the wait. When they finally showed up, they didn’t even say sorry for the wait or anything similar. Once approached afterwards, they didn't acknowledge the issue and pretended it was just a small delay. This was my first time and, needles to say, it’ll be my last - not worth the money at all! I hope this feedback will help get your disappointing yet expensive service right.

My son, William (Pickle) took his "Cub of the Month" bear for an end of Summer Holiday treat to Go Ape. Raven, the instructor who fitted his harness and was supervising the course, was absolutely amazing. Really friendly and helpful, and supportive when some of the other children needed a bit of encouragement. Would highly recommend this branch of Go Ape to anyone. Fantastic team and lovely facilities.

I took my daughter for her 11th birthday for the tree top challenge. What a challenge it looked!! We were both very nervous & I said we’d need extra help & support. The staff were brilliant. Unfortunately we didn’t end up doing the challenge. We failed on the first stop sadly. My daughter was petrified & was crying. The staff were amazing & helped us backwards & down. And we were fully refunded. I will go back again definitely, but with my partner. Bracknell team are incredible

My 3 kids have loved this particular go ape at Temple Newsam. We have been a few time and the staff have always been so lovely. Really helpful and brilliant with children. The course itself is really good somthing for everyone. When you have finished all your allocated trails you can go on again if you have time left.

Had a great time with the treetop experience instructors helpful and encouraging but had a shock on leaving the site being hit with £13.50 for parking for just under 3 hours after paying £40 each for the activity I did not really expect to pay such a rip off charge for parking such a shame and spoilt a nice day will not be returning and will not be recommending pure profiteering

The staff are so happy and helpful 10/10 to All staff .Our big thanks to James our instructor, who had to climb up and help my sister ( adult) who was having a wobbly on the first high tricky one, but with his kind, confident and patient nature, she gained her confidence and had the best time . James made it possible for her to have an amazing time. Thank you

Visited Go Ape this morning with my daughter and booked the course appropriate for her age (£62 for the both of us). She was unfortunately too scared to go down the first zip wire which meant she couldn’t do the rest of the course as there is no option to skip this. This happened to a lot of children while we were there and quite a few were escorted off the course after not being able to do the rest of the course. It’s a shame as these kids were all having fun going round the high ropes and their fun was cut short and ended it tears. The instructors did try their best to help her go down the zip wire but not having the option to skip this bit is where the company have failed. I feel the company itself is more about profit and booking as many people on as possible rather than ensuring their customers have fun. The money that we paid for the booking, gloves and car parking for half an hour of the course was not worth it! Your time (an hour) also starts before your safety briefing so it doesn’t give you much time to get round anyway and they write the time on your wristband to make sure you don’t go over. Fortunately we salvaged the day by booking with Sky Reach in Telford. They were absolutely amazing she did as much/little of the course there as she liked the instructors were brilliant and encouraged her to try some more challenging routes and we were not on a timer for more than half the price! Would definitely never go to go ape again and would recommend anyone with young children to go elsewhere.

Myself & my friend went to go Ape Cannock yesterday to spend some quality time together & goodness was it a good day! Lee the instructor that assisted us was 5🌟 I am extremely scared of heights and booked Goape to overcome my fears, Lee guided us and especially encouraged me when I could have easily given up! I have a lifetime of memories made on this day and I wanted to thank you 😊 Georgia

We have just come back from an afternoon & although tired & slightly battered we have big smiles on our faces. Our instructor Brad gave very clear instructions & safety information so we could do the challange and enjoy it, and made the experience great for us.

We booked a family ticket at £155 during the induction we were told that if for some reason someone changed their mind at this point they would receive a refund my wife decided that she couldn’t do it due to the height and went to get a refund on her ticket and then was told that she could not have a refund instead they give her another ticket for another time I told them that she would not be able to do that as she doesn’t do heights they said contact customer service I did this they were no help and now stuck with a ticket that she will never use such a shame as for the rest of my family and myself enjoyed the day but would not do it again staff were helpful activities were good just the refund process I’m not happy with so be absolutely sure you can do go ape before paying as no refund despite being told otherwise

It was great fun and the instructors were nice and helpful, but the rest of it was awful. My rope got stuck on something, everyone started saying I was being silly, and I got super stressed and upset. Then, on the final zipwire, my hands got covered in blood. Some people did give me first aid however. Still, I'm never going to Go Ape Chessington ever again!
