Dr Lavan is one of the best GPs I have come across. He is incredibly thorough, explains everything simply with detail and is incredibly caring and responsive to emails / follow up.

First time I have booked a private GP consultation and so pleased I did! After struggling to get an appointment/phone call with my usual GP surgery for a nearly 5 week long sinus infection, I booked with Gogodoc late on a Friday afternoon, for a telephone appointment. I was called within 15min, and after a thorough consultation with a lovely GP, I was issued with an antibiotic prescription 20min later. All sent via email and collected from my local pharmacy 30min later. Easy, hassle-free and stress free. Would absolutely use this service again.

Contacted GoGoDoc on a friend’s advice and I couldn’t have been happier with my resulting consultation with the Doctor and his recommended prescription of antibiotics and steroids to treat my 2-week old chest infection. I was finding it difficult to breathe properly as I am asthmatic and usual inhalers were having no effect so I was finding it hard to cope - especially with Christmas less than a week away and visitors due to arrive in the subsequent days. I was feeling so wiped out that I could do little more than sleep which made me feel quite panicky as there was still so much preparation for Christmas to be done.
The call taker (called Sandy) was exceptionally kind and reassuring when I explained my condition and she managed to get me a telephone consultation with a Dr within literally 5 minutes!! This was a very professional consultation in that I was asked about my health in general, what had led up to my current condition and what medication I usually took before a prescription for antibiotics & steroids was issued to me. I collected the tablets the following morning at my local pharmacy after having showed them an electronic code sent to me on email from GoGoDoc.
A fantastic service that I could not fault and would highly recommend to anyone seeking an urgent appointment with a Dr.

I went to GoGodoc in order to discuss having a CT scan for which the NHS wait was too long. Dr Varathan was careful in taking a history, clearly understood my concerns and succinct and focused in his advice. His referral letter was totally accurate and came through within a very short time. I was delighted . Dr Lafina took me through my screening results and at a time when I was stressed was patient and friendly . Her advice was sound.

Dr. Varathan strikes the perfect balance as a doctor. He's straightforward and clear in his approach yet also attentive and empathetic. He takes the time to listen and explain things in a way that's easy to grasp. You get the medical advice and treatment you need, all while feeling genuinely heard and cared for. His friendly manner and focus during consultations make the whole experience reassuring and positive.

I received my call within 30 minutes of booking the appointment. The doctor was professional and helpful and I received the prescription via text message and also email within minutes.

My son required tests completing as he is due to commence National Service in Singapore. Gogodoc fulfilled the specific requirements with regards to the tests my son required and facilitated referrals to other private healthcare professionals for other tests. The Gogodoc online booking experience (for a home visit for my wife, who had no NHS GP) was simple and a prompt response and appointment time sent by email. Dr Lavan came from Gogodoc, arrived within the appointment window, carried out a thorough assessment and arranged a prescription for a diagnosis of bronchitis with early signs of pneumonia. Dr Lavan is very personable and reassuring and we felt confident in his assessment - he followed up with us a number of times and responded promptly to our queries and I am pleased to say that my wife is responding well. I was able to speak to a gp within a couple of hours. She was extremely helpful and was able to give me a prescription as I was in London and unable to speak to my gp in birmingham. I would definitely use them again as it was a fast efficient and empathetic service
