I've bought two prone foil boards over the last two years. I absolutely love them both! But just as important as quality products is having solid and efficient customer support. I ordered a pump foil from Gong, and the delivery was fast and reliable. I carefully inspected all parts upon arrival, and everything was in perfect condition.
When I noticed a very minor imperfection, I contacted customer support to clarify whether it could be an issue. They reassured me that the small scratch/crack was not a problem and handled my concern in an extremely professional and accommodating way.
They even offered me either a replacement for the affected part or a 30% credit of the damaged part’s value as compensation.
This level of customer service is truly excellent and far from standard nowadays. For that reason, I can highly recommend Gong as a brand for surf equipment.

I placed an order for a surfboard on the 2nd of this month, and at the time of purchase the estimated delivery date was the 7th. Today is the 10th and I have received no update at all about my order. The tracking link provided in the confirmation email does not work, so I have no way of knowing where my surfboard is. I have also been unable to get in contact with the customer service, which is very frustrating.
23/04/2026 Updating my review after finally receiving the board.
I placed my order on April 1st because the website advertised delivery within 2–5 days. The board actually arrived around 20 days later, after I had already left for the surf trip I specifically bought it for.
The tracking link provided never worked at any point, so I had no visibility on where my order was. Before posting this review, I tried contacting the company through their website form and received no response.
After I posted my review, they finally contacted me. However, in several emails they seemed more focused on asking me to remove or edit my Trustpilot review than on resolving the delivery issue.
They also told me that the problem was caused by an incorrect phone number, which surprised me. I checked my order details and my phone number was entered correctly, so that explanation was not accurate.
The shipping company they use in Spain is also extremely poor: no proper tracking updates, no delivery time slot, and the driver showed up without prior notice. The board was finally delivered on April 21th with no warning, and the box arrived heavily damaged.(I have a video) The nose of the board also had minor damage.
I understand that delivery partners can have issues, but customers buy from GONG, not from their courier. Their choice of logistics partner and how they handle problems is part of the overall customer experience.

I contacted Gong by email asking for advice on the purchase of a board that I wanted to purchase. I was immediately given the advice via email. What stood out to me was that they were not trying to sell but to give me the appropriate information. The order followed through their platform after I first asked for instructions again that were given to me and they were accurate. Despite the problems that were recorded in the delivery of the package (it was not their responsibility) I could see their genuine interest in solving the problems. The quality of the product that I purchased is very good but this is known in the kiteboarding community

Excellent after sale support.
I order a Pack Surf Foil Evo for beginners, but the the assembly between the wing foil and the fuselage had a small misalignment problem. The response to my problem was immediately and the solution was excellent, offering me a new working set.

I fogot to add the 10% discount code at the order. They couldnt help me when i asked to correct it. I sent an email and got the reply its not possible.
I thought sending stuff back and reorder it again is not efficient (not for me, for them or the planet)
The 2nd email was really good, they understood and gave me a personalized discountcode for my next purchase!
