Since the release of their new V3 setups I feel like I can't go wrong with whatever foil products I've been buying. I actually sold my foil setup from one of the big American companies so I could switch to Gong and actually buy the foils I needed at a price that didn't cause a cardiac arrest.

I am always impressed by the team! At Gong, you get great products at a fair price. But if something does break or doesn't arrive in good condition because it was mishandled during shipping, you are not left to deal with it alone. The "Wing board" ordered by Gong arrived damaged due to an error by one of the delivery personnel. After contacting customer support and providing all the evidence of the incident via email and photographic documentation, Gong promptly replaced the board.

I use Gong wingfoiling boards and foil setups and I like the equipment. It is hard to beat their value per price.
There are cases when I need to wait a bit longer for my equipment to arrive, however, that is visible in the webshop and I know I will need to wait.
There were times when something went wrong during shipment (carrier lost my package) but, with a little bit more waiting, it was resolved to my satisfaction.

First I bought the kitesurfing equipment from Gong (because the price was very good compared to other brands) in 2018.
I was very satisfied with the delivery, the quality and the advice I needed (very fast responses). I have five of their boards. I only had one problem with the board (blisters formed on the top surface). They replaced the board with a new one without any problems. I have another board (the most famous brand, twice as expensive), but some blisters formed on the top surface on that one as well. I am very satisfied and happy to say that Gong produces good and affordable equipment.

Hi all, I'll start by saying I've received a wing foil package from Gong and I'm genuinely pleased with it. We had some issue getting it shipped from France to UK but customs is not Gongs fault and the package was delivered within 3 weeks. What I am very unhappy about is that I received the kit this week (V2 foil package) to find out the same week its been discontinued and the V3 is for sale at the same price. This would be fair play if I hadn't asked the Gong team for their advise. I would have expected them to tell me that the board was about to be discontinued one week later. Furthermore I asked their customer service when the V2 Mast would be back in stock and I was told its also discontinued (so no parts continuation) and their customer service advised me to speak to their technical department, not really very customer servic-ie surely that why we contact customer service. Really disappointed and feel I'm now stuck with a package that's got no continuation or parts (unless I buy a complete new foil setup) and now decent support from their CS team to guide me through options. Bad news, expect more from businesses now days

I ordered a travel bag from GONG for a time-sensitive trip as part of the Wingfoil World Tour. The gear arrived just in time, and the product quality is great, but the process was more stressful than expected.
To be fair, the GONG support team was quite responsive to my emails and did try to assist. The main issue seemed to be internal logistical delays — the order only shipped on day 4, after I followed up to ask about the status. While I wish the shipment had been prioritized given the urgency I had communicated from the start, I still appreciate their customer service efforts.
Overall, it was a bit of a bumpy experience, but they did their best to help, and the product arrived just in time.
I'm a dedicated pumping foiler and have been using Gong gear from the start. I began with the Trail 2XL, which allowed me to pump for over 2 minutes — a great entry point for anyone getting into the sport. I then experimented with the Veloce HDW L, which is fun but requires significant speed for dock starts. Most recently, I added the Ultra Trail 2XL to my quiver.
From an equipment standpoint, Gong offers excellent value for money. The performance is solid, and compared to other brands, the pricing is very competitive — making it a great choice for both beginners and experienced riders.
However, I’ve deducted one star due to the service experience. The average time between order, preparation, and delivery was around 7 days, which is noticeably longer than the 2–3 day standard I’ve experienced with other brands. Additionally, in my first full pack order, the M6x35mm screws for the mast were missing. Luckily, I had also purchased a full screw set, so I could still assemble everything — but considering the total cost of the pack, this oversight was disappointing.
Updated my initial rating from 4 stars to 2 stars due to the customer service experience.
After reaching out via the contact form as instructed, the response I received was:

After a few messages, they offered a €5 coupon.
Ironically, with my missing screw the experience was more satisfying than the frustrating email exchange that led to the coupon.
Maybe the person I interacted with was just having a tough day.
That said, I still believe the equipment is excellent and competitively priced.
