Really great store and Sally was extremely helpful with our children making sure their boots fit properly and showing us where other items were in store. Great prices too.

Sally is a star! I needed some serious help today about a pair of top of the range Salomon walking shoes. Thank goodness I found Sally. She was patient, informative, gave me great advice and had excellent interpersonal skills. I wish she’d been able to deal with me at the cash point too. Thanks to you Sally.

The offers were good after joining members club.
Unfortunately, the constant barrage of email "special offers" and trivia information has spoilt the experience.
I have now unsubscribed to emails.

I saw that Blisco jackets were being sold for £15 so I dropped in to my local store and bought one. At that price it’s a great bargain

Looking for suitable gloves for working use. Sally was extremely helpful, showing the various alternatives and eventually snipping the fastenings to allow me to put them on properly. Result was I bought two suitable pairs. Thanks Sally for your advice and product knowledge.

Very pleased with my visit, found exactly what I was looking for and then absolutely 5 star service from Sally who informed me about the membership card and savings available meaning I saved alot of money and was thoroughly helpful and knowledgeable about all things Outdoors.. will definitely make this my first choice for the future.

I visited the store recently to look for a black fleece for a new job. A lovely lady called Sally came over to help me search for what I was looking for and helped me find something suitable. Unfortunately, there was a lack of size 16 in-store but after trying a few different styles I found something that fitted well and that met my requirements. I am so happy with my purchase and the customer service that I received.

I visited Go Outdoors in Alnwick after struggling to find walking boots to suit my wide feet in several other shops. Feeling a bit defeated, I must have looked puzzled, because a staff member came over to help. After a short chat, he brought out several pairs of boots and patiently let me try them all on.

About 20 minutes later, I walked out with a brand new pair of boots – and a big smile. I’d walked in with little hope of finding anything suitable, but thanks to his time and effort, I left really happy.

It was my first time shopping at Go Outdoors, and it definitely won’t be the last. Just goes to show – it’s the people who make businesses great!

Lady on check out was super helpful, she even modelled the jacket I wanted to buy for another person so I could tell if the sizing would work (it did)! The staff at the Alnwick branch are so friendly & helpful.

Did not receive my order trying to contact customer care 3 times was a waste of my time went to Alnwick store got a little more help but still waiting for delivery the same jacket I ordered and paid for are now back in the said store so not happy I have not received my order

I’ve been struggling on making a decision on what sleeping bag would suit me best for my needs. After weeks of online searching and a visit to an independent shop in Newcastle with no success, I called into Alnwick G O.
I wish I had just gone there first! Russell and Sally were absolutely fantastic, their knowledge and expertise on wild camping was just brilliant, Russell even got a sleep mat down and allowed me to try on some sleeping bags on the shop floor! I felt comfortable to ask advice on other products that I wasn’t intending to buying at that time and they gave it willingly. There was no pressure on selling either.
It’s so lovely to visit a store and find staff that are so passionate about helping customers find what they are looking for.

God choice to choose from at reasonable prices.

Phil gave exceptional advice on new boots. I have had many pairs and walk a lot, so I am not a novice. Phil spend extra time, looked at my feet and discussed my needs. He came up with 2 or 3 pairs to try. He was very knowledgably.
