James, Zach and Toby were amazing. They were friendly and helpful. I was midway through a camping weekend and needed some extra supplies and they helped me find everything I needed. My wife, waiting at the campsite with a busted Achilles, was thrilled with my purchases. Great work, lads!

I went to the shop to buy walking trainers and Morgan served me. She was superb, patient, helpful and very knowledgeable. I love shopping at your stores and your staff are !’ so good. Please never reduce staff numbers. Finally, James at the till was great as well.

James made us feel welcome and his views on camp chairs was extremely helpful.

My wife and I were looking for walking trousers and a few other things. Bakewell was hot, humid and heaving with visitors but Roger immediately gave us his undivided personal attention. He was courteous and helpful, and clearly knew his stuff. Combine that with his sense of humour and you can understand why we actually enjoyed our shopping trip. Thanks, Roger!

Great customer service and value for money

My husband and I were nearby Bakewell for the weekend to do some hiking, but I needed new boots as my last ones didn’t last. We went in looking for some good quality walking boots in Bakewell GoOutdoors and Ruby helped me out. The boots I bought are the best things I have ever put on my feet! She was so lovely and helpful, and she knew what she was doing. Thanks Ruby!

We were looking for a pair of walking boots. Roger did not hesitate to bring required sizes for my husband to try on and he stayed with us throughout the process and it felt reassuring that we were listened to but not rushed.
Genuinely supportive customer service like this is hard to find and we would not hesitate to return to this shop. Thank you Roger for making this shopping experience one to remember for all the right reasons!

Great selection of shoes and I was very impressed with the price, A lovely young lady named Ruby helped us, she was very polite and ran up and down stairs to fetch different styles and sizes on a red hot day without complaint! We will definitely return

Although a smaller outlet in Bakewell, Derbyshire, they have a very good selection of walking boots, particularly the make that I prefer. The assistant was very helpful and friendly and would certainly be the reason I’d use this Go Outdoors again

Roger helped us find a walking bag that suited all of our needs, we probably would’ve left the shop and purchased from online if he didn’t help, we couldn’t have found it without him. He was very friendly and approachable. 10/10 legend

We went there to get a rucksack for summer camp. Staff Roger is very helpful, explained what size is ideal, compared the quality and helped us to try it on. We are very pleased with the service.
