I parked in the two hour free car park…
I parked in the two hour free car park near Go Outdoors, Colchester. When I returned to my car, the key fob failed with five minutes of my two hours remaining. Mike, in the store, not only validated my parking so I avoided a fine, but also gave me a replacement battery without charge! Thank you!!

Informative and friendly
Mark was incredibly informative, knowledgeable and buzzing with passion about the outdoors. I came for a backpack and trousers and left with so much more knowledge too! A great store with lovely people with so much helpful advice, you know you will get value for money and advice for what you need, not just being sold the most expensive item.

I popped in just by chance
I popped in just by chance - and left with a warm jacket for my 15 year old son. It’s not easy to get him shopping but it was a full success this time! Great choice of jackets and with the member’s discount card we got a real value for money! I must mention very supportive staff - Pam and Elliot were very knowledgeable and easy to approach - they made the choice of the right jacket much easier! Very pleased with the whole experience!

Visited the Colchester store to purchase walking boots, huge selection, and I picked 3 possible types.
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and I selected a pair of Hi Tec boots which were unbelievably good value.
Would throughly recommend this store for its great choice and more importantly polite attentive staff.
