Found some shoes in the sale for £7 which had made my day. My experience was soured however, when I got to the till and gave all my membership details, to be told that my membership had expired, despite renewing only 1 month prior online, which I had email proof of. The man at the till said that he would renew my membership on the system without charging me, but then he added 1p onto the total balance of my purchase. When I asked what the 1p was for he said that he had to renew my membership but hadn’t charged me. So why was I charged 1p? I know it isn’t worth much but it is the principle of it. I paid my £5 online to renew, only to be told that I had to pay again in the shop.

My gazebo has not turned up! I ordered for next day delivery and over a week with zero communication from Go outdoors despite several requests raised by me!

I found everything I was looking for in the store, it was well stocked and presented.
Sarah was til operator who processed my transaction, she was very polite, helpful and chatty.
The only negative I can find is the store temperature, it is freezing in winter and boiling in summer. As a customer I am not there long so it is ok however it cannot be comfortable for the store team to work in.

I ordered a coat for click‑and‑collect after the website showed it in stock at my local store. When we called to check if it was ready, we were told online orders “take a few days to arrive”, so we cancelled the order immediately.
Weeks later, I received only a partial refund, nowhere near the amount I originally paid. When we contacted the store, they claimed we had already collected the coat — which is impossible, as we never went anywhere near the store.
We called customer service twice to resolve this, and on both occasions we were put on hold and then the call was dropped. No call back, no follow‑up, nothing.
At this point, we simply want the rest of our money returned. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and completely unfair. I hope someone from Go Outdoors finally takes responsibility and resolves this.

We go to Coventry most years and every time we have asked for help it’s been brill. This year we camped in Canterbury and went to go outdoors there as we needed something and the help there was just as good. Staff are always super nice. Keep up the good work.
