Disappointing experience and still no refund
I ordered a coat for click‑and‑collect after the website showed it in stock at my local store. When we called to check if it was ready, we were told online orders “take a few days to arrive”, so we cancelled the order immediately.
Weeks later, I received only a partial refund, nowhere near the amount I originally paid. When we contacted the store, they claimed we had already collected the coat — which is impossible, as we never went anywhere near the store.
We called customer service twice to resolve this, and on both occasions we were put on hold and then the call was dropped. No call back, no follow‑up, nothing.
At this point, we simply want the rest of our money returned. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and completely unfair. I hope someone from Go Outdoors finally takes responsibility and resolves this.

From reviewing your order I can see that this was placed on our Click & Collect standard delivery service, where items are to be delivered to the store in order to successfully complete this. I am sorry for any confusion that may have been caused.
I can see that the ordered items have been refunded back to the original payment method used on two separate transactions. I have reached out to you by the email address given on your order to discuss this in more detail.

We go to Coventry most years and every time we have asked for help it’s been brill. This year we camped in Canterbury and went to go outdoors there as we needed something and the help there was just as good. Staff are always super nice. Keep up the good work.

One staff member stands out who is an asset to the company Becky. I went into your store and Becky spent time helping me on Monday 15th June. Ordered 4 items, refunded 1 without asking. Part delivery of 1 chair and no idea when the others will arrive.
Still waiting for the rest of the refund.

Great customer service
Just visited this store and I had the best service from Molly. I had to get a number of items and she was incredibly knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. Got everything I needed and more ! The lady on the Till (013) on the receipt was also helpful and informative. If only all retailers offered this we’d shop less on line !

Poor communication
Item not in stock in store, asked if I could order online? Staff advised yes, however, did not offer to check if available.
I ordered the item.
No tracking was available.
I phoned the store to check if arrived - staff at store was helpful and confirmed order had arrived.
On arrival to store - directed by helpful staff member to pick up point. Informed would notify pick up point that I was on my way. No staff available at pick up for several minutes!
