Paul who served was great went out the back to check if they had what I wanted in stock and explained excellently everything to me

Euro Hike rucksack cover. I put the cover on the rucksack and lifted the rucksack by the handle stitched to the cover and the thin cover material ripped straight away making it useless. So I had absolutely no use from the cover. Please don’t waste your money on this item as it is not fit for purpose.

After the response to my review from GoOutdoors, I emailed their customer services as requested and more than a week later they haven’t replied! I’d change my review to zero stars if I could!

After waiting another 2 weeks with no response from GO customer care, I called them and the advisor said she couldn't help and my only option was to go back to the store. I don't live near the store and it would cost me more in fuel to get to the store than the item cost. GO customer care are not helpful at all.

I called the customer helpline again and spoke to someone else and agreed a resolution I was happy with. So have amended my review accordingly. Thanks

Great service from a young chap called Larry. Very knowledgeable and a good listener too, so I ended up with the ideal pair of walking boots.

I had great service from the large Go Outdoors store in Exeter. Looking for walking boots, I found Harry to be extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. It was a great shopping experience.

The service given by Paul was excellent as always. His friendly manner and knowledge especially in the fishing department is an asset to go outdoors!

We visited the exeter store and found it to be well laid out and found everything we needed. We were helped by staff member Lewis when choosing my sons walking boots and he was able to help us pick the best pair. He gave us lots of very good advice and was very knowledgeable about the products available.

We received exceptional service today from both Lewis and Harry. It is quite rare to find such great knowledge and really helpful and personable staff that I felt compelled to follow up with a review. We ended up buying two pairs of trainers and felt really confident in the purchase because of the genuine caring service we received. Can’t praise these two gentlemen enough for a perfect retail experience.

Lewis made our experience fantastic! So knowledgeable, incredibly patient as we deliberated, and just a warm friendly presence to boot. Please pass on our thanks, Lewis is an absolute credit to the company and a brilliant employee.

When i phoned the store Joe was extremely helpful. As I walked in his approach was warm and welcoming. With a gas bottle in my hand he was happy to take it off me to exchange it while my wife and I looked around the shop. The staff member on the checkout was very cheerful and polite. We would definitely return again.

Absolutely brilliant service from Sam. From the moment I walked in he was friendly, patient, and genuinely helpful. He took the time to answer all my questions, explained the options clearly, and made sure I left with exactly what I needed.

It’s rare to come across someone in retail who actually cares about the customer experience, but Sam really goes above and beyond. Nothing felt rushed and he made the whole process easy and stress-free.

If every shop had someone like Sam, retail would be a much better place. Top bloke and top service — give that man a raise.
