GO Outdoors - Gloucester Reviews 

Online order was placed with collection stated by 2:55pm the same day in gloucester. I drove over an hour for the specific items only to get there at 4:10pm and no order had even been processed. Staff tried to run around the store to collect the items but collected the wrong tent. Then at 4:30pm got told I had to come back another day. The next day my tent part of the order had been cancelled and refunded where the other 2 items still were ready. Had to order a new tent which I could've had at a closer store but still had to go back again to get the new items.

Brilliant service thank you. Was served by Kia and a newer member of the team. Both were so helpful and kind and made me feel heard and supported in my pre-camping anxiety shop. Extra thank you to Kia for supporting and educating me when it comes to checking our gas levels and how to help next time. Would 100% recommend to others as a place to get great advice. Thank you all

Well stocked store and very helpful and knowledgeable staff members. Purchased everything I had visited the store for. Kia on the checkout was particularly helpful, courteous and professional. She is a credit to Go Outdoors.

My second review, and happy to write another! I popped back to the shop to add a Berghaus air mattress to my camping kit. Poppy showed me where it was, and Kia was helpful at the till. They had clothing at sales prices, so I bought two t-shirts and a couple of neck gaiters. Always a good experience!

What a delight Kia is. So chatty and even recognised I am Welsh and wrote 'Diolch yn Fawr' on the feedback request! Staff very helpful when I queried an optional adaptation. Cheaper that the same spec product on Amazon and I could fully inspect and confirm it would do the job.

Order wasn’t received for click and collect. When ask for a refund after it arrive in the store was said I need to come to the store. This is not right as it didn’t arrive on time. Staff very unhelpful when I called. Still not received a refund

What a spectacular person Kia is! Her knowledge on the stock and its location in the shop were super helpful and then to be served by her at the till. She is a bubbly approachable person and I really enjoyed our interaction. The shop itself is clean and well stocked I found everything I needed

The fishing department is very bare, maybe awaiting a delivery but the last 3-4 times we have been in it's the same. The stuff they did have on the pegs had no prices at all so no idea how much anything was. It doesn't seem to be manned by anyone with any knowledge of fishing now so it's not even an easy experience getting a price check or any advice on the products available.
The Swindon Go Outdoors is 100 times better than the Gloucester which is a shame as it's a bit of a trek to get there from where we live but at least they have stock.
On the plus side the lady who served us (Kia) was lovely and really tried to engage our son into a conversation about Spiderman.
