I wanted a backpack for every day use and made from recycled material. The assistant was very helpful and knowledgeable picking out a few options for me. I bought one which was ideally suited to my needs both ethical and practical. Great customer service.

Great experience. It was good to speak to staff with good product knowledge. Very friendly, no pressure sales from people with great knowledge of walking and trekking products. It took me a while to make a decision and I was supported by three different staff member all of whom were great, love my new Rab raincoat!

Shop was packed with goodies, well laid out, clean & tidy. Nicola was extremely welcoming, patient, pleasant & helpful without being pushy and we found exactly what I was looking for, (Trekking Poles). She signed me up for membership, which saved me a fortune on the day and which gave me a great incentive to return & recommend this Branch to my friends & family. A great addition to the Halifax shopping experience. Thank You.

Great well stocked shop. Staff were friendly and helpful. I was served by Nicola who was not pushy in any way and let you browse around. She offered her help if we needed it and rang my purchase through the till, she helped with my discount too( being a scouter). Lovely shop.

Could not be more helpful, asked to Try on a pair of over trousers, the changing room was opened instantly. Friendly and helpful.

Excellent service, as usual at this Halifax store. Friendly, helpful staff. Much prefer using it compared to local bigger Go Outdoors stores.Steve and the female assistant were very obliging.

I was served by Nicola who was so helpful throughout, assisting me with purchasing shoes appropriate to a forthcoming visit to Iceland and the Faroes. Her colleague, a young man in his late 20s or early 30s (I don't know his name) was lovely too. Such warm, friendly, helpful and non-pushy staff. And great bargains too!

Steve was very efficient, friendly and helpful at my local Go Outdoors and I left with another bargain using my store card.

Great service - very helpful!

My experience at this store was extremely pleasant!! I went in with one question, which led to a whole array of questions. Cassidy and Steve spend a good 45-1hr talking me through a whole lot of stuff. There was no upselling and they tried saving me money at some points. I would totally recommend this store. In the end i left with nothing but a whole load of vital advise n information. I will be back to purchase my festival gear at some in next couple of months. xx

A great shop with very helpful staff (the Halifax branch).

Bought a headtorch, served by friendly and efficient Tom, had a chat about the pros and cons of winter duvet jackets on a cold February day!

We were looking to buy an outdoor bundle kit for our daughters Duke of Edinburgh. We were greeted by Stuart who offered his assistance.

He helped us put the bundle together which was over 10 items. He was very knowledgeable and helpful and took us around the shop collecting all the items we required, also explaining how certain parts worked.

It was a very pleasant experience and made so much easier with Stuart’s friendly, and helpful approach.
