Go Outdoors in Hathersage is a great shop for everything outdoors . I needed a new pair of walking boots and Jon was very helpful , he wasn’t pushy and left me to decide which pair of boots I wanted following his recommendations. Price matched the boots I wanted with another company so got a very good deal. The lady at the till point was very friendly and funny . A very enjoyable shopping experience , will definitely go back again.

Best ever customer service
In all my years of visiting Go Outdoors at various locations this was undoubtedly the best visit. We were greeted by Jon who helped us with our purchases. Based on his knowledge we ended up buying Scarpa boots, Lowe alpine rucksack, and Leki trekking poles. Very knowledgeable assistant with a passion and enthusiasm for his work. Top class service. Knowledgeable salesman
Went in looking for some Salomon walking shoes. They didn’t have these at the Hathersage branch, but on speaking to the salesman he gave me really good advice regarding Merrel shoes (which didn’t get very good reviews on your site) and based on this I purchased a pair. Time will tell if this was a good decision but I suspect that it will be.
