Walking boots.
I do a lot of walking and saw some walking boots i like. On sale good price. Called in and asked if they'd save me a pair until later as I'd had 2 pairs of these last year and was happy. Friendly staff ,boots waiting for me ,served at once.

No veterans ID, no discount
Accepted the need to buy a membership to get the discounted price, however I could not get the veterans discount as I didn't have veteran ID, despite wearing a Government issued veterans badge.

Love saving money
This is NOT a criticism but myself and my Husband love shopping at go outdoors because we are not bombarded with loads of different labels all in one shop, love the fact you can still get quality products at a reasonable price, and the savings are worth every penny (especially in the situation we are in with the cost of living crisis).

Easy shopping experience, but lacking love2shop training
Found what I wanted easily and quickly. Only downside was that I wasn't able to use my love2shop card as staff weren't aware of how to process it and kept saying there mustn't be any money on it, yet I showed them the balance on it. Still purchased the coat I wanted as I can use the card elsewhere instead. But may e staff training o the cards would be useful!
